Its pretty fast, u can pair this cpu up with anything and it will not fail u, in gaming its amazingly fast, and any type of editing its also amazing fast, no problems at all

This chip is my first cpu upgrade (upgraded from an old Xeon). This compared to my old cpu.. a night and day difference, less throttling and stuttering. My only regret is not making the switch earlier.

Excellent value for a mid-high range gaming system. Paried up with a used 980ti and had a very fast system for cheap. Best route to go for the time being since all mid-range video cards are almost impossible to find at the moment. Getting about 35fps on Cyberpunk in ultra and over 80fps in Epic on Fortnite

Best value cpu vs ryzen 5 3600 at this point in time. Added intel cooler is a bonus and can upgrade to 11th gen in the future.

I got it from Best Buy from Illinois and I live in Barnhart lol. And once I got it Dell said they could not instill the cpu so I said ****It I am doing it I instilled it and added Corsair TM30 Thermal paste but the fan back on and boom it works as it should I would recommend the product

Great Processor! I used this in my 2nd desktop budget build for gaming and it works great. Very smooth and fast.

Excellent value at $159. Stock cooler gets the job done even when gaming since it's a locked CPU. Best to pair with a B460 or Z490, to get better performance when gaming or heavy use. H410 motherboards won't let you get full boost clocks when the CPU is under high load and doesn't support higher speed RAM or overclocking RAM (Z490 only). Has plenty of future use and it's a 6 core\ 12 thread processor. Best option for under $199.

finally upgraded from a i5 3570k. got this paired with a GTX 1080 and so far i’m impressed with the results i am getting in 1080p and in 1440p and in 4k. I’m playing my games off my 4k LG tv because i’m saving up to upgrade my old 1080p monitor to 4K or 1440p monitor. With the results i’m getting just from my non gaming TV, i know once i get a good monitor i will be even more impressed. This CPU is a great budget CPU if you are just strictly gaming and not looking to do a lot of workload. the price is great, i got it for $180 and i have seen deals for $150 so yes i will recommend this CPU to anyone that is looking to upgrade their CPU

Still fast and holding up in late 2024. Expecting this to outlast the motherboard that it’s installed in.

See a definite speed improvement on my Dell 3880 desktop which had an Intel i3 processor. Took a few minutes to install, applied some thermal paste and re-hooked up the original CPU fan (the Intel one included with the i5 wouldn't work on my motherboard) and it started right up with no problems. Delivery was faster than expected at time of purchase. A bit cheaper at other online retailers, but I wanted the option to go to my local Best Buy store if I ran into any problems.

This is a great buy. The CPU performs really well and when compared to its ryzen equivalents, it is cheaper and comes with integrated graphics; really good buy since GPUs prices are whack rn. It does come with a stock intel cooler with preapplied thermal paste that cools it just enough, reaching equilibrium at 82 degrees c at full load. I did end up buying an after market cooler due to the excessive noise tho. Shipping was also really fast, 5/5 stars

It’s phenomenal the price and the boost it gave my M01-F1014 HP PC it was great with what it had then I looked some stuff up and seen I can upgrade to a faster and better stuff so I did and let me tell you the Intel Core I5 is out of this world good the speed upload and performance is on point with everything I highly recommend this all day know questions asked it’s a beast and for the price it’s at get it now you can not beat it I was going to get the I7 going to wait to build a gaming PC and get that but this is perfect for getting personal stuff done super fast and you can even game with it it’s better then the Rayzen 5 you be the judge and get it trust me it’s a game changer!!

I assembled a nice PC with this processor. Its been working well for 2 years now.

Upgraded from an i3 and loving it. I got it temporarily but plan on upgrading to an i9. Works well for basic gaming

Picked this up when it went on sale for use in an Unraid server. Having Intel Quicksync for transcoding as well as low power draw were perfect for my use case. It's been working flawlessly since purchase.

It was easy it install and had thermal paste pre-applied, it probably isn't the best but you can't overclock this so as long as it works. Was a nice upgrade compared to previous i5-7400. Runs noticeably faster, however the biggest difference I've noticed is the added cores/threads. Only thing keeping it from 5 stars is the ram speed limitations in lower-end motherboards.
