    I use Intel chips because they just work out of the box. They are compatible with most memory you can buy. Unlike the "other" chip maker.

    Great CPU for the price, good all a rounder. Remember it doesn’t come with a stock cooler so you’ll need that too. I haven’t tried the on board graphics but it is a nice feature to have if you have an issue with your GPU and still need to use the machine. Currently paired with a z590 board and utilize some basic “easy” over clocking.

    Most bought this to overclock by setting the All-core or Turbo frequency at maximum, and pumping up the power to keep it stable. This is the wrong approach for this chip--it rolls out of the factory pretty close to ideal. If anything, I'd suggest upping the limit on your motherboard, but most of the CPU's for this SKU will run quite well around 4.9Ghz for a brief amount of time. I typically up the window by 8-10 seconds, extending it to roughly 1min, 10 sec at full tilt--that's plenty to power through a challenging section of a program.

    I was debating between I5 and the AMD ryzen. I am personally an Intel Fan boy as I never had issue with Intel product. The greatest achievement from AMD push intel to new high. Though with that said, I still believe AMD currently best for gaming but using i5 11th gen at a lower cost. It does amazing work! Huge fps gains from my previous processor i7-4790K. I saw about 40-60 FPS improvement pair with a 1070 gtx. No issue, works without flaw and all games run without issue.

    Phenomenal processor for gaming i game at 4K120 and cpu might not matter too much at that res and frame rate but this works great with the RTX 3090 I saw no performance gain with higher core count processors I upgraded to this from the intel 10700K

    This is a great processor for overclocking, it runs a fair bit hot though once it starts hitting the 4.8/4.9GHZ range on a Noctua cooler. Overall though, it has been an excellent performer.

    Combined this with a ASUS - TUF GAMING Z590-PLUS WIFI and an Artic Liquid Freezer II. Zero stability issues. For single core performance benchmarks close to my I7-10700k, in my other build, for cheaper to the point that if I was to rebuild that computer today I would go with this CPU. Regarding game performance is on par or better in certain games than the I7-10700k in my other build.

    Used this for my first ever pc build and i absolutely love it! Super easy to set up and troubleshoot, would definitely recommend and it has a higher performance that even the i7’s (3.9ghz) and I run most of my daily sites (school/youtube/netflix/hulu/twitch) with less than 10% power!!!
