    Rock solid CPU at a decent price point. Needed to run an i5 CPU in order to unlock the M2 slot on my MSI Z590 Pro Wifi motherboard. Been using it this CPU for several weeks now and not one hiccup. Highly recommend this CPU. I haven't overclocked this CPU yet, so I can't speak to that.... yet.

    I'm writing this review using this Intel Core i5-11600k 11th Gen. This by far is my best CPU that I have every purchased. Cannot say enough good things about it. I have 5 other high-end Desktops. This is my favorite.

    Delivers similar performance (92%) but $30 cheaper than AMD's Ryzen 5 5600X. Some software is much better optimized with Intel chips. Recommended!

    6 core 12 threads is in my opinion the absolute bare minimun a person should have in their system and this hits that spot. If you wanted to save $30 over the AMD 5600x then this is the way to go as performance between the two is worth the difference. PCIE GEN 4 and NVME 4 Gen 4 are still just gickmicky from either team blue or team red from a gaming perspective. You don't have to go out of your way buying gen 4 nvmes. Gens 3 will do just fine.

    This cpu is really fast and i use it with an asrock b560 steel legend motherboard and a $25 heatsink. The highest temp only reaches mostly high 60s.

    I am happy with the dollar to performance ratio. Upgrading my CPU from a Skylake had a larger impact on frame rates than I was anticipating, especially for older games.

    keep in mind, I'm still in the process of building it waiting for my motherboard, so I'll update this when i can! but packaging was very light. i accidently touched the bottom of it for like half a second so I'm scared that I've already ruined it
