Fast, overclocked easily, stable

I upgraded from a core i-5 to this product & it changed a lot for me. Running more frames, as well as normal apps running faster than usual. Highly recommend upgrading to i-7.

Amazing performance

I use it in conjunction with rendering in Autodesk Fusion 360 and Blender design work. The i7 processor can perform numerous iterations in a fraction of the time of my previuos processors, with excellent results.

Upgrading from 10700 (non k)

If you need a heater and a cpu, Intel got you.

Would make a great heater during those cold winter months. I decided to give Intel another chance even though so many people have given up on Intel cause... Well, if you're building a computer you probably know why... AMD is just better, more efficient and they're moving forward... They also didn't cut cores and threads and say the processor is some how faster than the last gen. After this cpu I will probably be switching to AMD also. Don't get me wrong, this cpu is great, it gets the job done and as long as you have a way to cool, you're still an Intel fan, and if it's still cheaper than AMD it would probably be good for you. Honestly, it being cheaper is the only reason I got it.

During some testing it got up to almost 80 C and that was with a minimal load. That may be due to overclocking, but it is still something to keep in mind.
