The picture is great with the patio TV. It works well at 1080p. Very happy with purchase, but wish it had a power button.

Didn’t wanna break holes in the wall and bought this trade out. I’m only about 25 feet away so maybe 510% of the time it may show a disconnect but not very often. It works pretty much all the time and I didn’t have to break the walls. Would recommend

I had a 100 foot cable to run from my living room to my backyard. With this wireless network no more tripping on the cable line. Picture is awesome.

I have been using this adapter for about a month now to connect laptops wirelessly to a projector in our conference room. It takes about 15 to 20 seconds to make the connection once you plug it into a device. However sometimes it seems like it looses the wireless signal. It works but unsure onto how well for the time being. It does do what it says it does just unsure if it is the device or the laptop causing the issue maybe when it goes into sleep mode.

I bought this because I moved into a new house and the coax outlets were lacking. Rather than cut into the walls and run new cable, I figured I could use these because it was less than 150 feet away and had direct line of sight - I was wrong. There's no way the range is 150 feet, more like 50 feet. When in the same room and less than 25 feet away, it works great.

I bought this on sale specifically to be able to see my home security camera footage on my big screen TV and it works flawlessly. No need to run a long HDMI cable in the wall from my second story bedroom to my family room. I just connect this to my security camera DVR and the back of my TV and now i have instant access to see whats going on outside my home anytime while watching TV. Overall i am happy with this purchase.

It works and works well at 1080p. I am using this for company presentations via laptops. I do wish the HDMI had a skinnier area around the HDMI connector as it is BIG and can block a USB port on laptops(so one less option for powering the device). I also wish it had a power button. This device does get warm and I worry it will shorten it's life if continually powered and possibly still generating some heat.

Needed a way to send video from a surface to a tv. It works most of the time sometimes there is a lag. It does require a HDMI and a usb port to give it power and has a IR eye on both sides that you also must plug in. so lots of stuff hanging off both sides.

I am very tech savvy and have a lot of experience with electronic equipment for the home. I recently mounted a television in the backyard and didn’t want to have to run 100’ of HDMI cable. I purchased this device because it seemed to do what I needed it to do. Take my Directv and sling it wirelessly to the tv outside, not having to constantly change the hdmi cable out at the box. Upon getting home I figured installation would be simple, which it is pretty straight forward. Connect the dongle to the Directv box and the receiver to the television you want the picture on. The dongle requires power, it did not come with a usb to power said dongle, thankfully being the computer nerd I am, I have a cord, I was able to use. I connected the dongle to the Directv box located on the first floor close to the back yard. There is also a window looking to the rear of the home. I then went and connected the receiver to the television outside after mounting it inside the storm shell. Turned on the box, the tv, and both dongle and receiver had power, annnnnnd “waiting for signal” appears on tv. Okay. Adjusted the antenna with no luck. Adjusted the dongle, with no luck. Now I understand that things in the way will dim the signal, but one wall, and a the tv 25’ away, there’s no reason this signal can’t make it that far. I then moved the dongle upstairs to the bedroom directly over the tv that is outside. The floor is about 5’ from the television and receiver for this thing. I plugged the dongle into the box and powered it up, nothing. I then used an hdmi extension to put the dongle on the floor directly over the television, nothing!!!! Finally I took said extension HDMI cable and dongle back to the downstairs mancave receiver. I plugged everything in, hung the dongle out the window, unmounted the receiver in the storm shell (the shell is a piece of plastic and the antenna was visible) putting it on top of the shell. I unplugged everything on the receiver and plugged it all back in. Now it finally works. I should not have to have this thing hang out the window with a line of site to get a signal. If it didn’t work in my man cave it certainly should have worked in the upstairs bedroom. In closing, save your money, pay for a more expensive advanced product, and you will be happier in the end. You get what you pay for, I was too impatient for shipping and bought it in store. Did it work? Yes, eventually Does it send signal through walls? No If you stand in between the dongle and receiver the picture breaks up, like come on man.

This connection kit works great for transferring my video security system from the box in our mechanical room back to a monitor in my office. It does freeze up for short periods of time occasionally so I'm not sure I'd want to depend on it for high quality streaming video, but works well enough for my intended purpose.

Easy to use and great for short range usage. I use in large rec room, 20 ft to receiver. Had trouble at long range (75 ft). The transmitter was more stable with USB power plug. Did not need the IR booster for great quality picture.

This item is very useful for my prompt to presentations whether at home or local businesses. It’s pretty easy to contact to the television with HDMI in for Wireless connectivity from my laptop. It’s worth it to show case your ideas a d PowerPoints to a larger screen.

Great product. While not the only use I use it in my 5th wheel to transmit the incoming satalite signal from the main living room to the bedroom. The unit works as advertised and is extremely easy to set up. Recommend this unit.

im not gonna overexaggerate with the "id give this -37 stars if I could..." or any negativity or all caps words, etc. But what I will tell you is that the thing has like a foot long antenna on it (which would allude to the sense that the ISS should also be able to pick up what ever it is youre streaming over it) and after plugging it into my TV and then into the top of my laptop I (while using a tape measure to give you accurate info) was able to extrapolate the high performance functionality of this beast a whole 7 feet away before sporadic pixilation occurred and at 10 feet the thing dropped the signal so hot that snoop dog decided to write a song about it. to make a long story short this thing is horrible, take the cost of the unit and buy like a 50 foot cable you can just roll out when you need it for range and then go buy yourself 2 or 3 tanks of gas with the extra money you didnt spend on the 50ft cable.

Best Buy sales agents are in general very friendly and knowledgeable. Same with Geek Squad, but not sure all agents are equally knowledgeable!!! I brought in a sample of my Receiver/Transmitter which I used to transmit a larger TV to a small TV in my Kitchen. The sales person said that one is no longer made, however this one will work. Waited two weeks without our Kitchen TV and the Geek Squad came out to my home to install. After 1 1/2 hours they finally said, this WILL NOT WORK! Sorry! I think in reality, what he sold me was a Transmitter/Receiver that would work between TV's and Computer's, etc, but not from TV to TV.

I tried this for gaming between floors and you just can’t get past the latency. Probably fine for non-time sensitive video and audio. When it goes out it goes out. YMMV.

I purchased this device for my motorhome so I won’t have cables going everywhere. The device can be very annoying at times, I can be only 3ft away and it loses its signal. Some days I have no problems with it all, other days I have to unplug it to restart it to get it back online. What can I say, I went into it knowing it’s reviews, but it was the only item in stock that I was able to pick up that day, go figure.

Setup was a breeze and quick connection. Will be nice if they come up with less wiring on transmitter - perhaps option to use internal battery. I would recommend to others
