A little more expensive versus buying something similar on Amazon but this brand is good and more reliable. Magnet has decent strength and it charges my phone quickly as advertised. Its low profile as well so I don't have a giant magnet sticking out of my dashboard. It sits flush and looks good. Cable length is also good. Recommend

Great small vent charger where I can not only charge my phone, but keep it cool as well. I only wish the magnet was a little bit stronger as it did fall off once while I was on a bumpy road. Otherwise this has lasted quite well on a lengthy roadtrip and daily commuting has.

This product was unique to me in that it is both a phone holder for your car and a wireless charger. It seems to fit both roles nicely. The mount is rather brainless. It has a soft rubber attachment that held firm to my A/C vent. It held the phone sercurely, but you could slide the phone mount on and pull it off in seconds without fuss. I liked that feature. The mount looked good and the phone was easily accessable from the drivers seat. What's the first question in your mind as you attach your expensive iPhone to the magnet that holds it in place? Is it going to hold? In my experience, the answer was an unequivocal "Yes!". You can feel the magnet grip the phone and it takes a substantial effort to get it back off. I consider such a feature rather than a detriment. I am sure the same would be true with the phone in a MagSafe case. I did not have a MagSave case available for testing before submitting this review, so I used my naked iPhone 12 while testing this product. I never had to worry about it coming off. If left alone on the mount, it never moved even a millimeter. I am not in the car long enough during my drive to and from the office to get a full charge on an empty phone battery during the commute, but I will bet that many users would have no problem doing that with this 7.5 watt charger. It is attractive and, I think, fairly priced for what it does.

The iOttie Velox is a great iPhone mount and charger. It has everything you need right in the box and comes at a great price. If you want a nice mount that will look good on your dashboard, and can help keep your iPhone charged up, it is a great choice. I have another iPhone MagSafe air vent mount from another accessory company that is good but doesn't have a charger built in (though there is a model that does). My wife asked if she could have it because she has two phones (work and personal) and she wants her work one mounted while her other phone can stay in her purse and be linked to the car via Bluetooth. She has to take calls all the time for work while she is driving and would like easier access to it. So I needed a new mount for myself and the iOttie looked like a great choice and it is. In the box you have the mount with integrated cord with a USB-C plug at the end. It also comes with a USB-C car adaptor that you plug into your 12v plug. The cable is plenty long and should not have a problem with any car I have ever seen. The mount grips can be rotated to match any style of vent slats and it holds on TIGHT. The charging only goes at 7.5w so you won't be blaming down the juice in your phone but it adds about 5% every 15 minutes or so on my iPhone 12 Pro. It also doesn't heat up your phone as much as some other wireless chargers I have used and I kind of like the vent mount for helping keep the phone cool via the air flow. I may not like it as much when I have to use the heat. I have only one quibble with the iOttie Velox and that is that I wish the base of the mount were a bit longer. It's mostly the fault of the way my vents are integrated into the dash, but this mount is really tight in to the dash and if I had an iPhone Pro Max, I'm not sure it would stay on. As it is, it works just fine but I wouldn't mind a bit more leeway. If you are looking for a great vent mount for your MagSafe compatible iPhone and want charging at the same time, go out and get the iOttie Velox. You won't be sorry.

Remove contents from the box, connect the USB-C cable to the cigarette port charger, choose a vent where you want the mount to be, slide it in, and you’re ready to use it. --- FEATURES --- The mount is magnetic, so you can place your phone and remove it quickly. It charges your phone when using it. --- PERFORMANCE AND EXPECTATIONS --- This mount has a strong enough magnet to prevent it from falling off while driving, even in bumpy terrain. You are only allowed to mount the phone in one way, but the mount itself does swivel if you need to use it in landscape mode. There are two things that I don’t like about this mount, but these may not apply to you, so make your purchase decision based on the following: 1. The phonemount is heavy enough that it will make your air vent aim down. If you need to use the air vent as its intended purpose, you will lose that vent plus whatever air is coming out from it will now be flowing down from that vent. 2. In order for you to use this mount, you need to have no case on your iPhone. I use a case that is cumbersome to remove and put back on every time that I have to use it. For that reason, I will only use this wireless charging mount when I have a planned long trip in which I am not going to be removing my phone from the case constantly. If these two things don’t bother nor apply to you, then this is a very good mount to get. With dashboard mounts, your phone is further away from you. With this air vent mount, your phone is closer to your eyes, making it easier to see what you need to see. This was quickly evident when I was using it with a GPS app. It was easier to read the streets that it wanted me to turn on just by having the phone closer to my eyes than when compared to a dashboard mount. --- APPROVAL --- If you're ok with using your phone without a case and the mount causing your vent to aim down, then this mount is an ideal way to hold your phone closer to your eyes while charging it as well.

The charging aspect of it is fantastic I had to purchase a usb c adapter for it to work with my vehicle. I don’t think many have a usb c outlet available from the factory. The mag holds my phone very securely even over pot holes and road bumps. I feel it needs another way to connect other than the air vent it prohibits the air flow from the vent. With the current summer temperatures it is obstructed. Also it doesn’t work with my CarPlay maybe because of the usb to usb c adapter I’m using I will research other devices to find one that is compatible with CarPlay. I don’t have CarPlay wireless which maybe a resolution to my issues. I gave this item 4 stars because of the the fast charging and the secure of holding the phone to the vent, your application may vary so I would give this device a try. Very durable and would hold tight even in the winter months. A cup holder goose neck or a window suction cup mount would be a definite option. I will try to fabricate a connection a bracket and post pictures upon completion.

After having terrible experiences in the past attempting to use vent mounted phone mounts in my car, I was a little skeptical and unsure whether I would like the new iOttie Velox magnetic charging car mount for my phone. The car vent phone mounts I have used in the past typically were made using very cheap plastic parts and would often either break within a month of use or never held my phone in place while I was driving. My other concern with the Velox mount was whether the magnet was going to be strong enough to hold my phone in place while driving, turning, breaking, maneuvering speed bumps, etc. Well, after using this mount for about a week, low and behold I think iOttie finally got the design just right. The solid rubber grip fit tightly in the smaller circular vents of our car as well as the larger square vents in our truck. The magnet was definitely strong enough to hold the phone in place even while accelerating, hard breaking, turning and hitting bumps and never once did the phone slip off the magnetic holder nor did the holder come out of the vent. One of the best parts about this phone holder is that it not only secures your phone into place while driving, it also does a great job of charging my phone without having to plug anything in or run additional cables. This was a great investment for someone who often forgets to charge their phone at home or the office and then hitting the road while also providing the additional safety of not having to pick up and touch your phone to see any pertinent notifications, phone calls, etc. as it rests perfectly in an existing car vent where you normally would be looking to adjust your A/C or tune the radio.

Great car mount and charger for magsafe enabled iPhone devices. It comes with al long cable with a USB port on one side and also a cigarette lighter power plug. I do with the cigarette lighter plug had a passthrough or a second usb out, as my car only has one plug and I have a dash cam. I had to buy one of those 1 to 2 adapters on the autocare store, so keep that in mind if your car only has one cigarette lighter plug. The air vent mount is good and they use some sort of soft rubber, so it will not scratch your cars plastics. The air vent mount is not that large, so bare that in mind if your car has some sort of round or recessed air vents, it may be difficult to mount onto. I have two cars and it did not work on one of them as it's one of those small sporty cars that has rounded air vents, and they are kind of recessed. It did work on my other car that has flatter squared air vents, so keep that in mind, as this kit does not include any alternative ways (like suction cups or so), it's only thru air vents. Once installed, the magnet is strong and holds my iPhone 13 just fine, even with a case on it and it charges it fine. Highly recommend it if you use your phone for navigation or music, so you won't kill the battery that fast!

In the market for a MagSafe charger for the car as I always thought it was crazy that the other MagSafe car mount purchased for nearly the same price had no charging capabilities. First impressions were solid. The iOttie has good weight and looks solid. The color choice was a bit odd. Dark blue clashes with black interiors that most cars have, but maybe they offer other colors outside of Best Buy. Three things I looked for - strong hold in vent, strong hold in the magnets, strong pivot tension so that I could adjust to a fixed position without it flopping around while driving. Vent hold: 5-Stars. No notes. Great job MagSafe Strangth: 4.5-Stars. At no time did I feel my iPhone Pro Max was at risk of falling off. It could have been a bit stronger because as I went to rotate the phone to horizontal position it slipped off a bit too easily. Not a deal breaker. Pivot Stability: 4-Stars: it’s a moving car. I get it. It’s difficult to balance something that’s got too much tension that you can’t rotate it with making it so loose that it flips around when weight is added. In the case of the iOttie I could have taken just a bit more tension. With a heavy phone it held in position OK, but had a noticeable shake when driving, even at 30 mph. Side note: this DOES come with a USB-C cigarette adapter. It’s nothing special l, but it’s nice that it was included. Most MagSafe accessories don’t include the charging brick. I’d recommend making that more noticeable on the packaging and in the listing. It was a total surprise.

i’m not much of a fan when it comes to magsafe things but iOttie wireless charging mount for iphone is a nice quality charger that you guys might want to check out I even like the way they package the device. you can tell once you opened that you bought something that have some great quality care to it. inside the box you get your Magsafe car mount with USBC plug don’t worry the package will also come with a extra plug incase you car doesn’t support USB C, from inspecting the device the clip that goes to your cars fan also looks like was made with great quality, didn’t feel like this will just break, to top it off it was securing great on my AC grill, it doesn’t feel like it will just fall of right away the quality of the rubber like clip definitely seems like it’s just stuck until I decide to move it. honestly haven’t found anything to complain about this mount, it charges my iphone 12 pro just fine and it’s also nice to have an alternative mount in your car, I say that because I usually plug my phone directly to use carplay, you the would pretty much use this to act as a magnetic stand for your phone for your viewing pleasure or if you don’t have carplay then perfect coz you can watch on your phone and charge it with this device. this a great gift for someone who have a magsafe iphone, I highly recommend this one

I was a bit hesitant to purchase this, as I am usually pretty cheap, but this is worth every penny! The part that sticks to the air vent is pretty flexible without it falling off when positioning my phone like my last phone mount usually did. It rotates to the exact position you need it, and a big unexpected plus is how fast this charges my phone! No complaints, definitely recommend!

Love this , I did get a new vehicle 3 months ago , looked it up says it fits my new vehicle but the only issue is it does fall out of the vent more often that I feel like it should , other than that , it works great

Bought this after getting into more MagSafe accessories for my iPhone. Fits snugly into my airvent in my car and the magnet is strong and holds my phone very well. No issues to this point with it slipping or detaching. Love having the charging functionality built in too. I often forget about that feature and then arrive home from work with a near-fully charged phone.

A little pricey, but this thing is awesome. Doesn’t fall out of the vent and the magnet has the perfect amount of retention, even with a cheaper Spigen brand MagSafe case. Charges really fast too.

This charger works great so far. It stays in place on the vent and charges quickly, the magnet feels strong and the phone doesn't come off easily. I like that you can swivel the phone position and remove the phone from the mount easily. The material looks and feels high quality. Would definitely purchase again.

Hold my iPhone 15 Pro Max without a problem and does not fall off of the air vents. With how bumpy my Mustang was it was hard to find a good found mount that charges and actually holds my phone. Love how easily I can place my phone and immediate charging without locking in my device and plugging in a cord
