We paid only $179 for this device, but I guess I was expecting more features. We have the Roomba 770, which does a whole lot more (granted at a much higher cost). This is the apparently the lower end of the I-Robot series, as it does not even have a water reservoir, or the scheduling feature. In fact, you must set the robot up every time you want to use it, along with the sensor that allows it to place itself spatially. If you want it to mop, you have to detach the mop head and soak it in water (it attaches a lot like a swifter). Having said that, it does a really good job of light mopping. We really haven't tried it for sweeping, and I'm not certain that it would do as well. The machine is quiet, covers the area thoroughly, and allows two modes (quick and normal). It uses a separate sensor that must have a clear view of the ceiling in order to orient itself in the room. The principal issue is that it gets caught up on the edges of the hard floor where it joins the carpeting. Overall, a handy and modestly useful gadget that is well made. Buyers will be satisfied, so long as they understand what they are getting.

I really love this product. It thoroughly cleans either in sweep or mop modes and it's super quiet. It gets under chairs and cleans all the way to the baseboards. When it's done it shuts off waiting for the next assignment. I wish it recharged a bit quicker but woluld still love it if it took longer to recharge than it does (about 2 hours).

I'm a big believer in these electronic robot cleaners. I have a Roomba as well as this MINT Robot. It looks like iROBOT which owns the Roomba, recently purchased the MINT company, so they're all under the same ownership now. It actuall makes sense, as I don't think these two products compete against each other, but really compliment each other. I use the Roomba to sweep and clean the kitchen first. It will pick up the dog hair, the debris and crumbs very well. Once the Roomba has done it's job, I'll use the floor sweeping robot (Mint) and it does a pretty fair job of mopping the floors. Gets rid of the sticky residues, and whatever liquids were dropped. The solution gets expensive, so we do perfectly fine with a solution of vinegar and water. Overal great purchase. I recommend the extended warranty as these do break down, especially if you use multiple times a day, like we do.

We have a dog and cat with wood floors thru most of the house. I was unhappy about dragging out a vacuum and having to vacuum multiple times during the week. This has helped with hair and any small crumbs in dining room, living room, kitchen and hall. Still have to vacuum about once a week but this has helped a lot with simplicity of just putting swiffer cloth on and letting it basically sweep up a few times a week. Won't get everything up but does a pretty good job.

First I'll say my entire first floor is a mix of hardwood and tile. The Braava does a good job of getting the dust up particularly when wet. It does have a habit of pushing the dirt around a bit when dry moping. My wife hates that fact but I just think it makes the dust easier to pick up. If you hate swiffering the floor like my wife, get this product, having used this I'd recommend the up market model. You'll end up buying the proclean attachment for wet mopping anyway and the addition of the quick charger and potential for the second cube make it worth the extra $100 in hindsight... Too late for me but still time for you.

It's like having a new pet, it's so much fun. And it really cleans up the dust from my floor while I can concentrate on doing other things around the house.

I have to admit I was a little dubious on buying another robot vacuum/cleaner but I stand corrected. Right out-of-the-box this thing is good to go but I would recommend charging it for at least a good eight hours to build up a memory. This little guy cleans all the tile in my first floor and does not stop until it's automatically updated cleaning system the detects that the floors are clean. This robot has definitely made my life a little easier because after a long day last thing I want to do is clean the floors and we have pets in the house. However this model does not come with the cleaner reservoir you have to buy it separately from the company. A little cheat hint buy the wet swiffer pads and use them they work just as good. You'll be happy with this purchase if you have tile floors like I do.

The sweep mode works great, mopping works best preventively instead of on visible messes. I sweep every day and mop once a week and my kitchen floor is spotless.

Bought as a deal of the day. Picks up well, but seems to get stuck over the same area sometimes instead of venturing off to clean the rest of the floor. Does a great job using swiffer pads and impressed with how much is picks up and cleans in the 'wet-mode'. Much slower and more 'deliberate' than a Roomba vacuum

I bought this to do light mopping on our laminate floors. It does a great job over a small area, but the included mop kit has to be washed and re-soaked frequently if you have a larger area to mop. You can get an attachment with a reservoir to hold cleaning solution, but that's an extra purchase. It's a great little tool though if you don't have a lot of extra time to mop more than once a week. The dusting pad works very well though! It would be best to dust then mop immediately after, however you are a bit limited with the battery recharge time, which can often take overnight.

I was not sure that this little robot would do the job. My surprise it worked great. It picked up all the dirt, in the sweep mode. I have not used the wash mode yet, but I am hoping that it will do just as good.

Product doesn't do heavy cleaning when mopping floors. You need to mop heavy soiled areas in order the iRobot Brava to do a good job in muddy areas. I love how easy it is to use.

We have an old Roomba which was a lot more random in its cleaning pattern. This robot is a lot more intuitive. I agree with some of the other reviewers' comments about making sure you are in the area in case the robot gets stuck. The sweeper feature really doesn't do anything. I recommend just using this for its primary purpose - light mopping/wiping down. That's it.

I love the iRobot Braava! The sweeper option keeps the cat hair under control during the week, which is exactly the reason I purchased this item. I have not tried the mop option, I purchased solely for the sweeping option. I love that I can use Swiffer Sweeper Dry cloths with it!
