Great for carpets and so easy to use on your phone

Works great! Definitely worth the price if you have carpets. Also helps well if you have a dog that sheds. I have a small Yorkie that sheds very thin hair. This vacuum picks it all up and keeps my carpet looking clean! Not so great on hardwood floors though. It still works on the hardwood but not as well as it does on carpets. I love that I can control it with my phone and my GoogleHome devices! I just ask Google to start cleaning and off it goes. I also love that I can schedule it during the day while I'm at work, so I come home to clean floors. It can be a little loud (not as loud as traditional vacuums though), especially as it bumps into walls or table legs). Just set it to vacuum while you're away and problem solved.

Having used this product for about 30 days now, I can say it’s really fantastic and I wish I had gotten one sooner. Of course there is a bit of a learning curve on where to put the base and the kind of obstacles it can and can’t navigate. But if you give it a few days and a little patience, it really will be a huge time saver for you. I love coming home and seeing the floors clean and vacuumed. Not that I’m messy, but crumbs, little leaves and things from outside get tracked in and the Roomba cleans them all with ease. It’s a bit noisy, but it’s not any louder than a standard vacuum. I live in a 1Bd apartment and it cleans every room but the bedroom with ease and navigates home without issue. If I want the bedroom vacuumed, I have to put it in there manually and set it to run while I’m taking a shower or getting ready. My apt is set up strangely and Roomba (mines named Dustbin Timberlake) has a hard time getting back home. I was surprised at how much it picked up the first few times. But now it’s fairly empty every time it runs, which is good, that means the floors are much cleaner than before. I have concrete floors with an occasional low pile rug, it navigates those with ease, no issues.

I was excited to get this, as I really liked my old one I found at a thrift store. There was no home base and the battery only lasted for 15 mins. Haha. I dropped it and shattered it. So...a few years later, I bought this one (it's a major upgrade). At first it was hard to set up, but that's only due to my shoddy 2.4G wi-fi. So word of advice, make sure your wi-fi is good. This Roomba only runs on 2.4G. There were a lot of connection issues and honestly, I almost returned it due to my shoddy wi-fi. Upgrading the internet to a mesh system and it got a second chance at cleaning. Although it does a basic job, and ONLY for a 13-24 min run, it does a great basic job. It does wander, but it picks up the loose cat litter, dog & cat fur (it needs to run over bigger fur tumbleweeds a few times before it finally fully sucks it up), smaller leaves, and pebbles. It runs over my throw rugs just fine and back to wood floors with no problem. It did get stuck twice, but that was easily fixed by moving the piece of furniture over a little bit to stop that. No biggy. I definitely recommend for basic jobs, especially for winter, when the salt gets tracked into the house.

I bought roomba to help with pet hair on my hard floors (stained concrete) , it has been a huge help! I turn it on twice a day, before I leave for work & when I get home. I have not connected it to wifi as we do not have it in our home. I empty it every day & the other regular maintenance is really easy. It does get hung up sometimes (rugs & under furniture mostly), it will shut itself off & I will just move it & turn it back on. When it doesn’t get hung up , it returns to its charging dock after about an hour! I am very happy with it! It has saved me money in swiffer pad purchases! I would recommend to any of my friends.

These robo-vacs actually do a good job. We like it, but it's not perfect. First, it's a little noisy and so distracting if trying to watch TV in the same room. They are actually designed to do businees while you are away. The problem with that is the good price we paid is for the dumb version. We have a very open floor plan and our iRobot 675 does not know safe boundaries, so it finds ways to run over cords or get out of the space. An intelligent "wall barrier" solution is available at about $40 each so if vacuuming something other than a fully contained room with no obstacles, plan on spending an extra $80-120 right away.

I have read a lot of reviews about this little guy, a good mix of positive and negative. This vacuum is loud, has a small container for dust, however is very effective for a single man with a hardwood floored apartment. I work a lot of hours and when I get home, the last thing I wanna think about is cleaning up around the place, this robot makes me not even have to worry about the floors. I schedule it to clean daily around 9 and it cleans all three rooms in an exceptional amount of time. I still have the box for it just in case something sways me the other way. But the first week it has been great, effective, and was exactly as I was expecting. Not bad for $200...

Glad I bought this for my wife. She is delighted. It even cleans under the beds and couches. The only downside is the size of the dust and dirt collection reservoir; it is to small if you have dogs. It has to be dumped several times from picking up dog hair, but it still does the job in vacuuming the area throughly. It goes around the furniture in all the rooms and can run while one is at home or while one is absent from the home; however, it will stop when full or tangled in a cord. Besides the listed issues, I can think of no other problems. So I highly recommend the Roomba

If you have wide open floors, great, if not it bounces around too much.
It did surprise me, I bought as a gadget gift fir wife. Once your floor is cleaned, (real sweeper), it does a great job at keeping it looked like you vacuum every day! I set it to go on while at work, so far it has impressed me. It is hard for it to find its dock station at times due to our tight layout. But id buy again.

Monster Mike gets the dirt and more!

This robot vacuum has earned the title, Monster Mike. Mike needs a lot of redirects, but so do I so, he is officially apart of the family.. Mike use to get wedged under the fridge door until I purchased an extra piece that sends out a signal to keep it away from
the fridge. Also, fair warning: Cat toys will get tangled in the wheels and if you have a smart attitude cat, they will throw their toys in front of it on purpose to get it to stop because they don’t like the noise. It is softer running than a regular vacuum but loud enough to be annoying. I set it at 7:00 am on Weekdays and it wakes me up every time. I have Mike set on command to turn on and off using a Google mini. I’m pretty sure that my condo neighbors think I have a guy named Mike held hostage in my house because I am always getting upset when he sweeps up my phone cords. No cord left behind is his motto. I hope this review preps you for your purchase.

When my wife opened this as a gift on Christmas I could tell she was not exactly excited about it. I explained my rationale for buying as a means to cut the cleaning time on the pergo floors. We had both been struggling to keep the light dust and dirt off the dark floors. It seemed like they needed swept every day and neither of us wanted to do that. I read a lot of reviews and this entry level model seemed like it would work for us.
It cleans 800' of pergo with a couple of rugs.
It is a little weird in the way it wanders around and gets caught / stuck occasionally but it does get the job done.
She will tell you now that it's one of her favorite gifts since it gives her more time.

Cleans very well (we have hardwood floors). Great for keeping things tidy between thorough cleanings. Does get lost sometimes, but our house has a unique floor plan so that's understandable. Very easy to set up with the iRobot app. Must have all cords (for lamps, phones, etc.) picked up - they will get tangled in the Roomba.

This unit is decent enough to do the job. It'll take a bit of job runs for the Roomba 675 to get all the spots. Overall, satisfied that this unit does the job. It's the affordable one without all the bells and whistles. Enough for me to clean the living room. Yes, it is loud when operating, but I schedule it when I am not around. The app does enough to "monitor" the Roomba like when it gets stuck or needs to return to the charging base. Still, it picked up lots of dust, dirt, and hair on my carpet. Overall, I would say purchase this when BB has a sale on it; I would not pay full price as there are other units by paying ~$50+ more.

I bought two of these. One for mom and one for me. We have a big house with an open floor plan. Wanted a vac that can clean up crumbs around dining table. We did not anticipate it would go all over the house rather do an area at a time. It picks up a lot but wanders around. Even in rooms, it doesn't go in one line but wanders diagnonally sometimes same path and hard to say it got all of the carpet. It never finished our room as a "job complete" battery went down before that.
For my mom's smaller house, she's happy with it. I returned mine, She kept hers.

Does a nice job- relatively small apartment, no pets. The app was a little picky but a hard reset on the app got it working no problem. Very nice to come home from work and have a freshly vacuumed apartment! It's not perfect, inevitably will miss places, but all in all it does a great job and reduces the anxiety of dirty floors. App lets you pick what days/times to run, but it's on you to make sure the dirt trap is emptied, there aren't any cables on the floor (smaller cables like thunderbolt/lightning/usb), and doors are either propped open or latched shut. Yeah, mine locked itself in the bathroom once. There is some light maintenance required- the manual is specific on this. There's folks complaining about hardwood floors/that sort of thing. As far as I can tell, if you keep up on the maintenance, you should be good- but that front wheel could imprint a small rock or metal fleck and end up dragging it all over your floors. All in all, for the stress relief in having one less chore on top of my workload, I think it's a win!

Had this vacuum a couple weeks now. It works as advertised and has collected all kinds of dust we didn't know we had. It has a tendency to get not find its way out of a room and sometimes runs out of battery before it finds its dock. Overall it's a good vacuum and definitely helps keep things clean in between cleanings.

I guess you can get more expensive ones that have more features. but for the price I paid for this unit, can't complain. it does the job decently. we have a dog and every time we'd run this thing, we'd be amazed at how much dog hair it'd get. the 4 stars is because the canister doesn't hold much and you'd have to empty it often. in our case, it's after every time we use. it doesn't do well on loose rugs.
my only complaint is not on the item itself but the way best buy store pickup handled my order. they didn't even give me an official receipt when I asked. the manager even shoved a piece of paper to me which basically was just a printout of my online order, and not the actual receipt. the reason I know is because it says on the paper itself. he even had the nerve to act like it was my fault that they didn't give me a RECEIPT. and when I told them if they couldn't give me one then I'll have to return to item. They could not even do that. my advise, don't do store pickup for big ticket items especially on the holidays. they'll screw you over.

We are amazed at how well this Roomba cleans our floors. It’s easy to use and picks up dirt really well. It is an entry level machine, so it moves around the house at random. The more expensive models have a camera built in and move around in a deliberate pattern.

The robot is easy to setup and use. It does an excellent job of cleaning. However during the first couple of weeks of cleaning it gets stuck or gets lost. After it has figured out the map of the area, then it works great! We also wanted to buy a second one for our downstairs

We run the Roomba 3 times a week because our dog sheds. The Roomba does a decent job. This model isn't bad. The main drawback is the lack of mapping, which I know is available on more expensive models. My main gripes are that we've had to replace the spinning brush twice because the prongs keep breaking off, and the Roomba itself will inexplicably get stuck on a spot on our rug that doesn't appear to have any obstructions.
Overall, not bad for the price. In the future, though, I would probably spend a little more for a model with mapping.

We have a pug, he sheds year round, plus we live in South Florida (sand). This Roomba helps keep the dirt and hair at bay before a big cleaning day. Easy to clean collection bin and brushes, and the app on your phone is user friendly. We absolutely love it. It’s a little noisy, but that’s understandable.
