I would give 5 stars minus the fact that it will get stuck under the couch at times which gets frustrating. Other times it does the entire room easily and works great!

It does the job. It just wanders around with no pattern. Mapping would be nice but for 400 or more dollars I do not think it is worth it. Works better in smaller areas.

For the price & availability you can't beat it. Shipping was very fast even during the holiday srason. This was a Christmas gift so we haven't used it yet but we expect goods things from it. Wish they wouldn't have shipped it in the iRobot box now the "open this gift last" will not be much of a surprise.

I have two dogs and just needed something to help keep up with the cleaning. This little robot was just the ticket, I set it to clean while I am at work and empty the trap when I get home. No problems setting up and I can even use Alexa for some impromptu vacuuming while I am preparing dinner for guests.

This unit is great for keeping up with pet hair. Having the app on your phone you can schedule the cleaning while you are not home as the unit can be a bit loud.

It has made cleaning the house so easy..really like it. The charge is not enough to clean 4000 sq ft at once but I divide the house into 2 parts and get it cleaned on different days. Picks up all the hair and navigates easily between the furniture but does not clean the corners.

I have been wanting a Roomba for a long time and finally decided to give in a buy one. Before I used it the first time I decided to vacuum my floors and then see what all it picked up and to my surprise it filled the tray will all kinds of hair and trash! I loved that it gets all the places you can't get with a normal vacuum like under your bed. I have mine scheduled to run every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday at 9am after everyone has left the house. My kids rooms are never picked up so I just close those doors so it won't go in there but the rest of the house it cleans very well!

Crazy to say a vacuum changed my life but it totally did. I am more concious of just throwing clothes and things on the floor because I know my roomba might get stuck on them when it tries to clean. It does an awesome job both on my hardwood floors as well as my carpets. I've had some times where it would get stuck on some throw rugs as it would sometimes flip over a corner and get stuck on the fold but I think any roomba type device would do that. Suction is great. I don't see any reason to get one of the more expensive roombas over this one. I do not have any pets so I cannot speak to its ability with pet hair.

The Roomba is amazing. My floors are always clean now. I hate to admit it but I wipe crumbs off the counter onto the floor knowing the will be gone at 6am the next day. And the Roomba makes a great alarm clock. I have it set to vacuum M-F at 6 am. It’s quiet enough to watch tv while it vacuums but loud enough to wake me up. The detour censor it comes with keeps it away from the dogs water bowl. Cleaning out the dust bin couldn’t be easier. The Roomba cleans my entire downstairs (11 rooms) on a single charge The dust bin does need cleaned out after each use. The phone app is very user friendly. We love our Roomba!

We have two German Shepard’s and the Roomba helps sooo much! We program it to run every day. We have such busy schedules and this really helps to manage all the shedding!

I love that you just turn on the sweeper and go about your cleaning in other rooms!! Especially when you have alittle time because of little ones! It does a great job also!!

I'm lazy... the vacuum does the job well enough in our condo, but not without a few flaws. It will get stuck on bathroom rugs, somehow wiggle it's way under my recliner, drag cables around the house, etc. It's not smart by all means, it will bump into everything around the house until it needs to recharge... Often leaving spots in our 750 sq ft condo unclean. When it does get everything (80% of the time) it's worthy of the price, when it gets stuck dragging bathroom rugs around the house... You'll wonder how this thing costs $300+. Your milage may vary.

I dont know what took us so long to purchase the roomba. I doubted just about everything about it. My fiancee finally convinced me to purchase it. Low and behold the roomba is a beast! This little monster works great. Vacuums and cleans the area pretty good. Just close the doors and let it loose. You will not be disappointed. The app on the phone works great. You can set a schedule and monitor the maintenance. Best part is that roomba is compatible with Alexa!!!! After you feel the area is clean you can just tell Alexa to send the roomba home. Def worth the money.

Works much better than expected- great for in between the week. With four dogs and having to vacuum everyday this helps tremendous. Still have to manually vacuum from time to time along with stairs and upstair hallway. So keep in mind that this is a companion vacuum toy for adults- love it!

I love that I can be doing something else while the Roomba 690 is sweeping. It does a great job cleaning both carpet and vinyl, and it's easy to empty and clean.

This roomba does a great job of picking up everyday dirt and hair. My only complaint is that it doesn’t have the suction to pick up dust in the carpet.

My kids named this guy Berto and I don’t know why. Anyway he is a fantastic robotic vacuum that is programmed to go around the house and clean everyday at 9am. He does a good job keeping up with daily vacuuming and I only need to do a thorough roundup every couple of weeks or so. It rarely fails to find its way back to its charging base. At first I’d had to empty his bin daily but on day 3 it didn’t fill up as quickly since he’d kept the house tidier. I just have to make sure that there are no small toys laying around to get stuck in it before it starts it’s job. He taught the kids to keep their legos or he would “eat” them.

It was able to remove most of the dog hair off my Berber carpet, but did not have the suction for other dirt like my upright vacuum. Also, it keeps vacuuming in same spots for awhile before moving to new areas.

This is great! I love this vacuum. Automatic cleans the entire house gets trapped occasionally but definitely worth the money.

Picked up the IRobot at Xmas and have been using it for 3+ months. Love the concept and it is a pretty cool gadget when it works as designed. We have “Ethel” (our IRobot nickname) work everyday and about half the time she doesn’t make it back to the base. Need to follow up with the iRobot team to see if there’s something we can do. All and all... pretty happy with the iRobot and pretty impressed with the amount of dog hair the device picks up.
