Definitely makes a tedious chore easier. Seems to pick up a good amount of hair and dust from the carpet. I think the battery life could be better ... seems to run down pretty quickly.

We used to have the 980. I’ll admit that the 900 series does a better job of mapping the space...but it’s really not that much better. We still have the same nuances and our floors stay clean. You’re probably reading this review trying to figure out which roomba you want and if the price is really worth it...if ALL You do is roomba, invest up, otherwise, save your money and get this one.

It does a good job. Very frustrating to watch work since it uses a random pattern to get everything, but it ultimately does given enough time and running regularly. It won't get 100% coverage every time you run it, but run it 3+ days a week and your floors will stay clean. It loses a star for the following: - I have to clean the dust bin sensors weekly. Otherwise it errors out and cancels jobs prematurely. Moderately annoying. - It has knocked a couple of things over that I have propped against my walls (recently moved in and haven't got everything mounted yet). - It doesn't always find its home base to charge. - It has gotten itself trapped in the bathroom twice after a month of ownership.

Easy to set up and navigate but wasn't for me. I felt it got stuck in the same spot and missed out on wide open spaces that weren't even vacuumed yet. I love how it went under furniture but open areas didn't seem to get covered. Had no other performance issues otherwise.

The IRobot-Roomba is hands down the best invention ever! Ladies(and gents) no one likes vacuuming and now YOU don't have to! I got the 890 and it works beautifully, I could not believe what it picked up the first time I had to empty it. Amazing, love it, will never go without again!

The instructions are the worst, even online. Instructs to push buttons that are not labeled and not found. It got stuck a number of times under chairs and in a corner. Was not able to back out. Has difficulty going from hardwood floors to area rugs with lips or fringe.

My wife and I decided to go with the 890 because I was told it was better at picking up pet hair, and that is definitely the truth. We are very happy with the way it cleans the floor when we are not around. We have a golden retriever and it does a great job because he is a shed monster!

A very powerful vacuum without any effort. This vacuum has been a huge help in picking up dust, dirt and dog hair.

It has been great so far. Haven’t had any issues. It did get stuck under some chairs but that was bound to happen. I blocked that area off that way it doesn’t get stuck again. Other than that, it picks up so much dirt every single time, even though the carpet looks clean. It’s unbelievable.

We bought this mid-grade roomba - not the cheapest, not the most expensive. So far I am extremely happy with it. We have a dog with super fine, long hair that is almost impossible to sweep up with a broom. The roomba keeps it under control better than any other method I have tried. I would give it 5 stars if it were just a little "smarter" - the patterns it runs in are so random, and it seems like a "smart robot" vacuum would be able to learn our layout after a few days. However, I will say it seems to hit most spots eventually. For this reason, I almost wish we had gone with the more expensive model that supposedly does learn your house layout instead of just roaming about, but I am very happy with this item!

i love the Roomba it works great..... i dont have to vaccumn everyday now. it picks up dog hair sooo good.

My friend had warned me not to buy the Roomba because his earlier model couldn't clean well. Strangely, I didn't listen and still bought this. This model works like a charm. It could even pick up cat hairs off my carpet. Very nice product.

First Roomba purchase, great black Friday deal. Set up is a breeze and using it is even easier. Nice time saver and gets the floors quite clean. Just need to be sure to pick up stuff that the roomba may try to eat, like cables, shoe laces, etc.

Purchased this on black friday with my wife and we absolutely love it! We are able to relax as our living room and kitchen floors are getting cleaned from dirt and dog hair. Yes it does a good job on picking up dog hair!! We have 2 Corgi's who sheds alot and the roomba sucks it right up. We also have a rabbit and it does suck up the hay as well. It does recharge while on base and shuts off once fully charged until you use it next. The only small con I would say is having to empty out the compartment that sucks the dirt into a couple times during vacuuming but dont let that discourage you from purchasing this. But it will flash a red trash light to inform you to empty the compartment which is very easy. Sometimes with the hair that gets sucked into it will trigger this trash light. But I would definitely recommend this if you are constantly having to vacuum due to dogs/cats tracking in dirt from outside!!

This Roomba does help keep the floor (wood) cleaner in between, however it does not get all areas, it changes from one area to another without always cleaning an entire section of floor. Also if you are not home when it needs emptied, it will not finish the job and it fills up fairly fast as compartment for dirt and debris is fairly small. I still think it is great to have but not as valuable as what it cost. The app feature is nice to have, but again if it needs emptied, nothing is emptying it while you are not home.

Surprised by how much trash this collects everday. Took a star off for difficulty setting up wifi feature and due to the fact that the roomba sometimes doesnt make it back home.

Very happy with this purchase. It is a little loud if trying to watch tv but overall pretty quite. Crazy how much this little guy picks up. I do recommend being at home when it’s running in case it gets stuck somewhere.

I returned my 880 and got, this one. It is much more reliable than the old one. The phone wifi makes programming more reliable. The ai seems to be a little smarter and it doesn't seem tho act as picky as the model before. It is always stopping though but that is better than it tearing itself up.

I have three dog's and this vacuum gets all the fur! Battery life could be a little longer, sometimes can't find it's way home and will search until the battery dies.
