This robot does a great job at vacuming! Keeps floors super clean. Easy to maintain. Takes care of two floors of out house. Does not fall from barcony or stairs. It's super Smart!

My wife and I decided to jump into the robot vacuum club last December. We had our first child in June of 22, purchased a one story home, in August, and needed a way to keep the all-hardwood floors clean while our son was learning to crawl/walk. We started with an i6, and it did a good enough job, but we still needed to mop daily. That and, with our son getting older, toys were consistently strewn across the ground, making it difficult for our older i6 to clean thoroughly. That and our smart map looked awful, even after resetting and doing constant mapping runs with nothing on the floors. We made the switch to the j7+ combo in June of 23 and this little guy is a game-changer. It took about 3-4 mapping runs to get a PERFECT map, and since then our floors have been consistently spotless. It allows you to review images of anything it thinks might be an obstacle and you can even place a keep out zone precisely on that item from the review screen. Blew me away. My one downside is that you do have to replace mopping liquid often. We don’t have any carpet, except for rugs, so it mops around 1700 sq ft daily. On standard liquid mode, I’ll refill maybe once or twice. Aside from that, it mops great and I have no complaints.

This is the second iRobot item that I own. I love this product because not only does it sweep but it mops the floors. I have two dogs and this is a helpful tool to keeping my floors clean nightly. Sometimes the robot will just stop and not complete the job but for the most part I love it. Plus the look is amazing!

Love it, you can tell it’s working. This robot saved me a lot of time. It is loud, if you work from home, it will bother you for sure. Mop works well, I prefer to give him same job twice regarding moping, because you can see the lines on the floor. I didn’t change mop pad, maybe that is the reason. It is easy to maintain if you do it at least monthly. If you have pet, definitely think about cleaning it weekly. Works great on carpet , I tested it checking the bag after vacuuming, it was hell of dust and hair. It is pricey but I like it, passed my tests. Don’t worry, won’t mop your carpet.

Totally in love with this product. Being a first time user of any such product and almost a cleanliness freak, I have always worried about cleaning my home more than cooking. Now with just one swipe on my phone, I can sit back, relax and watch it clean and mop the entire floor. I will absolutely recommend buying this. I have used it till now only with plain water and yet to use a store bought liquid. However it does clean very well with plain water also. My suggestion would be to use it with vaccum plus mop with scrub and 2 passes for that extra clean feeling.

Worth every penny! I absolutely love my Roomba Combo j7 + Robot Vacuum and Mop! My only regret is that it took so long for me to buy it. I did a lot of research and this model does not disappoint. It vacuums, mops, and self empties. I can schedule it to clean when I am away so that I have clean floors when I get home. I have a hectic schedule this is a definite time saver for me. It was very easy to set up as well. The mapping feature is pretty cool. It allows me to set up multiple cleaning areas for different days of the week. If I had to say anything negative, it would be that it does sometimes gets tangled up in cords. It said that it would recognize them but I a few that it does not. Overall, I would highly recommend this model!

Two dog house hold in a small space, so the hair and dirt builds up quick . This thing helps with quick daily sweeps to help maintain the floors! Definitely just for maintenance, it isn’t ment to do a deep clean as a mop. It’s just a quick wet wipe. It was streaking till I saw someone recommended wetting the pad before putting it on the robot.

So far, so good. I bought this to replace our Roomba 960. Every single detail of this model is superior in every way. The mapping tech was flawless in mapping our house in its entirety while also recognizing rooms with carpet and rooms with hard floors. It vacuumed and mopped as advertised. We have a home with three dogs, two of them being immense shedders. I have already seen an improvement in the homes dust and hair collection just from using this device as maintenance in between cleanings. A+ would def recommend.

I have not had to physically mop my floors in over 2 weeks! This mop works! The scrubby mop pad cleans the floor very well and is the equivalent to getting on your hands and knees and lightly cleaning with a wet microfiber cloth or a rag. I'm still figuring out the solution ratio because I have seen some streaks on the floor a few times, but the floors feel so clean I don't even mind the streaks. It does help to pre-dampen the mop pad. It is also probably best to start with a clean floor. As in, do a thorough vacuuming and mopping session prior to using the robot for the first time. I will likely get out the regular mop for deeper cleanings or pet accidents, but overall this little robot has been an amazing addition to our home. I have freed up an hour or more a day to do other things. The longest this robot has gone so far is 2 hours and 53 minutes. There's something to be said about coming in from a workout or a day out and having super clean, pass the white sock test floors with minimal effort! The vacuum works really well, too. We have three indoor pets (Siberian Husky, Cocker Spaniel, and a Balinese cat) and it handles the shedding hair very well. I still use my Dyson daily to clean up around the house and vacuum the pet beds. I had to return the original iRobot Roomba J9+ Combo I had purchased because the auto refill station was not operating as expected. I have found out after some research that this is a known issue. I returned it and purchased this previous model (J7+ Combo) and so far it is working as expected. The main difference between the two is that it does not include the auto refill station. This is not a deal breaker for me, because the mop will do my entire house in just over 2 hours and only uses one tank of water to do so. There is an option called "smart scrub" to scrub the floors even more, and that would use more water and solution, so I would expect to refill halfway through the cleaning. If the auto refill station had worked properly on thr J9+, then I would have preferred the J9+ over the J7+ just so I could run the higher settings as far as scrubbing more and using extra mopping solution. As it is now, the J7+ will vacuum and mop until it runs out of solution, then it changes to vacuum only. After a cleaning job has completed, you can view the map and see the areas where it mopped and vacuumed or where it only vacuumed. Then you can wait for it to recharge and/or refill the mopping solution tank and send it on its way to get the areas it missed. The robot is super intelligent and knows how to differentiate between hard surface floors and carpet. It will lift the mop up and out of the way when it travels to carpeted areas of the home. These robots have improved so much over the previous models I own. My old ones tend to bump into your feet, furniture and baseboards. This one has an onboard camera so if it sees an obstacle it just goes in a different direction or stops and turns around. You can set specific cleaning schedules for the different rooms in your house, as well as specify areas the robot should not go to. For example, pet dish areas or areas where you have wires that you don't want it to run over. You can specify which order to clean the rooms, and you can set favorite cleaning areas so you can easily press a button and send it on its way. This is all done from their app! One feature that would be nice is if the app allowed you to add additional areas to clean once you've already started a cleaning job. That would be a game changer! When I discovered a product/brand I like, I am loyal to that brand. I have owned a Scooba 380 (circa Jan 2010; sadly met her demise after several years of use). I still have her, and have tried a few times to get her running again. April 2012 - Roomba 560 - still in use and I've replaced the battery 2 times in 14 years. 2015 - Roomba 980 - we have two of them and they both still work without any issues. This is a brand you can trust! I do recommend the Best Buy protection plan, because they are very easy to deal with if something goes wrong after the initial return period. I purchased the 2 year plan. Protect your investment! Life changing! That’s ehAt I call this beautiful I-robot vacuum! We use it daily yo vacuum and mop it keeps the house amazingly clean. Even with multiple dogs and kids our “Rosie “ keeps up. So far very low maintenance and easy to use. Only one fig toy stuck in the rollers. However they pop off with the push of a button and snap right back in. So clearing the toy was super easy! Highly recommend this product!

With an 11-month old running around, studying for tests, and doing homework, this iRobot roomba combo has taken two more household work off my plate. I set it to vacuum the seven days a week and mop three days a week. It is smart with navigating around the house. It does okay when it’s dark. Overall, I love it because I now wake up to clean floors!

Past the return period so going to keep it. Works just a bit quirky. Dont expect this to dive deep into corners or really scrub stuck on messes but its nice to have for daily cleaning in high traffic areas. If you aren't a fan of moping daily, have pets or kids this will likely be a worthwhile purchase. The mapping is tricky, and it needs some maintenance but its not unmanageable. My partner was pleased as punch about this and doesnt mind pulling hair out of the brushes ocassionally. We have two dogs and 3 cats so this has helped keep the dust bunnies and dirty footprints at bay. it preforms best on our tile, faux wood flooring and low pile rugs. We have some standard pile carpet in the bedrooms where it tends to rake the hair into neat little rows rather than actually pick it up. Overall its nice to not have to swiffer the mainfloor daily but i dont know if it was worth the 700 we paid for it. Had I spent more time researching i would probably have gone with a less expensive mop only product with better scrubbing (we have very little carpet) and skipped the vacuum but it is nice to have an all in one product. If you have wonky transitions this isnt a bad choice but it may need rescuing from time to time. We have a few it can get down but not back up from so occasionally you just give it a little push. Overall underwhelming but practical.

Does a great job of capturing carpet debris and recognizing when and where to mop. Maps ad hoc and caters to your room layout. Pet fur might be left behind but it’s bundled and easy to pick up. My carpet and floors look great and the scheduling function has become my new alarm clock.

It has slightly less suction power than the S9+ but is quieter and generally smarter in navigating around obstacles

Does a great job vacuuming and navigating rooms and objects. It's mopping feature is just OK, it just drags a damp cloth on the floor, but I knew that before I bought it. The bigger problem is that when it mops and vacuums at the same time, the vacuum is sucking in a little bit of water, then that mixes with the dust and it clogs up the system. Every week I need to scrap out the internals of the vacuum and it's really unpleasant. For reference, I don't have a dog and only use this to vacuum a tile floored kitchen. I will probably get sick of this and return it, but I haven't yet because it does such a great job vacuuming and navigating objects. I would suggest getting the version without the mop feature. Picture attached is AFTER I scrapped it out... it really clogs up.

Had a different brand mopping robot vacuum for four years.., had problems with the battery with it and was ready for a new one. This amazing self emptying mopping vacuum is working great in my home

Built well seems to be working as expected right after the mapping was completed. Using the app inset it for daily cleaning runs for about 30min every day

Works great. I would highly recommend this product. The app is easy to use.

Excellent robot vacuum cleaner, I really like it.The cleaning is done carefully and attentively, without any omissions.

So far so good. Can schedule cleaning every morning. I have two cats and I see a lot less fur on the floor. I just need to add water every 2 days.
