This is a solid follow up to IT Chapter One. The movie starts up twenty-seven years after the first movie and Pennywise "the Dancing " Clown has returned to kill children and adults alike. Can the Losers club find a way to defeat the monster that has haunted theirs greatest fears? Sit down and watch to find out. A stellar cast rounds up the adult versions of the Losers Club. If you liked the first movie then this is a must watch to just get closure. Rid your fears and enjoy the film.

Beautiful steelbook. The art is very well done. This one is a matte finish, which is great considering it has alot of black. The disc art is decent. It's just the "IT" logo in CD silver with a black background. There is art on the inside of the steelbook as well. There are 3 discs. 4K, standard Bluray, and a bonus disc. Mine arrived with no spine slash but it's still a gamble with best buy.

A decent sequel that didn't surpass the original

Sequel's rarely surpass the quality of the original movie and IT's sequel is no exception. The running time was too long and at times the plot was confusing. My recommendation is to watch the original immediately before Chapter 2 because a lot of this movie references scenes from the original movie. Chapter two is suspenseful, creepy and the visual effects are very well done. It's an enjoyable movie on its own, but sits in the shadow of the original film.

4K images are amazing in this, the second chapter of the feature film version of the Stephen King novel IT. Pennywise is as creepy as ever, however having the now grown-up children reduces the creepy factor and feeling of concern for the characters. Sound is active throughout all channels. Color are vibrant, but often muted in the dark scenes, however images are sharp and clear.

If you loved the first one, you will probably enjoy this one. Most people from what I have read, don't seem to like this one as much as the first, but I found it to be just slightly better. Not so much in terms of "scarier," I just enjoyed where the story went, and how it was brought to life by mostly great performances, including Jessica Chastain, and Bill Hader.

Overall this is an ok movie the first one was definitely better & the 1990s was the best. The story line in this one was ok but I felt they wasted a lot of time for a movie that’s 3 hours long. It also could of been a lot more scary then it was I definitely feel it lacked in that aspect but the artwork on the Steelbook looks good so at least there’s that.

I arrive a lot earlier than expected. In perfect condition. No matter if you don't have a 4k blu-ray player, the normal blu-ray still looks amazing, the picture and audio in Dolby Atmos is crazy! This version brings a disc of pure extra material, which for those who alone fans is a big surprise. It brings Spanish subtitles both the film and the extra material. I'm more than happy, this version is very complete.

Although there are some differences from the novel in IT: Chapter Two, the movie holds together very well. Acting is top notch as are the story elements and special effects. Be on the lookout for many Easter Eggs throughout the film. Special bonus features are on their own disc and are a must watch. Overall this rates a 5 star rating.

Pennywise is back, and he's hungry! 27 years after the Losers seemingly defeated Pennywise as pre-teens, It is back to feed and the sole straggler in Derry, Mike, has to gather his childhood friends back to Derry to defeat it once and for all. But with Pennywise playing mind games, the lack of confidence from the group, and It's escalating feasting, they must bond together, and whether they live or die, must take him down once and for all. Back in September of 2017, I wasn't sure that a remake of the admittedly cheesy miniseries from 27 years prior would be a great idea. It hadn't aged well, wasn't really scary or was even that well made overall. I figured with the director of Mama taking the reigns over noted filmmaker Cary Fukunaga (who retains a screenplay credit over the first film) and the writer of several films in the Conjuring universe, I figured it'd be a hot mess. Luckily, Andy Muscetti managed to balance the film rather well, giving the audience a lovely looking film with plenty of atmosphere and tension and also getting some good performances from the young cast and, of course, from It itself, Bill Skarsgård. What I knew of the miniseries is that the first half was superior to the second part, and the same holds true here with the cinematic equivalent, but the films are still superior by all means. The adult cast (led by James McAlvoy, Bill Harder and Jessica Chastain being the most well known) gel quite well here, with Hader being the clear standout with a funny, tragic, scene-stealing performance. Skarsgård remains excellent, the direction by Muscetti remains well done and it's visually ba beautiful film that has a satisfying conclusion. However, there are issues to be had with the film. As good as the direction of actors and set-up here, he lacks in the pacing department with this film. Certain scenes drag, making the almost 3-hour tome a chore to sit through. I don't mind a long film, but after awhile, you start to feel the runtime drag. The screenplay also has some quirks, most notably some "interesting" dialogue and the film also has some awkward music choices for certain scenes. The visual effects are also pretty mediocre as a whole, with some very ugly, soft CGI for most of the creature shots and even some questionable de-aging for the young cast. Overall, it is inferior to Chapter 1, but with a satisfying conclusion with some good performances and a keen visual sense, this is one to watch. As with the first 4k BluRay, the second one shines on home video in practically every way. Starting with the picture quality, minus the softness of a good bit of the CGI, this is a reference quality image, and it being captured digitally, this is a sharp, colorful UHD and with Dolby Vision included (HDR10 is how I viewed it) it is a reference quality disc. The Dolby Atmos is also loud, spacious, and accurate to the theatrical experience and is also reference quality. The included BluRay is also an awesome disc in it's own right, but it can't hold a candle to the awesomeness that is the UHD. One-upping the previous 4k and standard BluRay of the previous film is the extras. Although the extras on part one were well-done, there was a lack of a full length making-of documentary or a commentary on the disc (the commentary was exclusive to iTunes, which is compatible with Movies Anywhere), whereas Chapter 2 has a satisfying making of of parts 1&2 here along with an audio commentary on the BluRay itself (sadly not on the 4k disc, but it's inclusion nonetheless welcome) and both are welcome additions. Including the aforementioned 2-part making of and on disc commentary are 3 featurettes about Pennywise, the adults and the kids meeting each other and an interview with Stephen King. All in all, this is a satisfying disc overall, but I am wondering when WB is gonna give us the compendium of both films into one giant supercut that we were promised over a year ago. That's the only way both discs would be topped, but until then, buy it immediately!

Came in to purchase the latest Rambo DVD. When I could not find a salesperson asked if I needed assistance. He said they were I but not on the floor yet. He went to the stock a retrieved a copy of the DVD for me. Very helpful but I was surprised it wasn't already on display as it was the release date of the DVD.

I am a fan of King's novel, the original mini-series, and of the new Chapter I and II movies. While the movie did a great job of incorporating content from the book into the script, it was still lacking in many areas. I feel that the directors were more worried about giving their A-list actors screen time then really developing a great tale.

This revival is surely one that is unmatched. The way this movie taps into your worst fears is genius. The acting is beyond us and for all horror movie fans, it has exceeded what we were expecting. 100% recommend. I mean, who else does it like, the one and only, Stephen King? Exactly.

The 2nd chapter of IT was definitely not as good as the first go round but it does have good qualities. I would say that it is a must own if you are a Stephen King or horror fan. Best Buy did give us a pretty cool steel book though. I just wish that they would charge so much more than they do for them compared to the regular editions.

The first “It” came out in 2017 and it was a great horror film. It also covered the best part of Stephen King’s story. That means that “It: Chapter Two” is left with telling the rest of the story. While it isn’t the strongest, but Bill Hader is the breakout performer here but everyone shows up to bring this story to a satisfying close!

It part 2 was much better than I expected it to be, but I suppose it makes sense since it took two years to make. Finished off the storyline very well and made sure to do its own thing and not stick with what happened in the original movie. A must watch for any Stephen King fan

Love the movie and the quality of 4k. Steel-book art is great on the outside however the inside design and lack of art on discs leaves a lot to be desired artistically. It's a nitpick for sure, but for the price of a "Collector's Edition" I would've appreciate a TINY bit more effort. Still love it though, I recommend picking it up!

I’ve been waiting for this movie to come out and I had to splurge on the steel book version. Movie takes place 27 years after first film and all the kids are all grown and have returned to fight Penny. If you enjoyed the first film, you’ll enjoy this one too.
