This little dude is great. You download some drivers from the manufscturer website first, then are able to connect pretty much whatever you like. I have a work laptop and a personal laptop which I interchange on my desk - this works with both of them. I connect 2 monitors, a USB keyboard, and a USB for a wireless mouse into the hub with everything working seamlessly. Ive rearranged the monitors since I too the photo, but rearranging their order on the computer to match their physical arrangement is also really easy.

Having a small set up this is just the right size for my needs and works great.

Portable docking station, works well for multiple screens

Excellent product with many options for the laptop user! This product works well with my Yoga Lenovo laptop were I had problems with other docking stations. Also, didn't give my laptop battery that overcharge from leaving it connected all the time. Great choose for multiply monitors.

DON NOT BUY! I have two 2k monitors and I cannot get this dock to display 2K to both monitors. Only one can get 2k and sometimes only one can get 4k. I just want 2k to both monitors. I'm 2 wks outside the return policy. Total tech is a waste right now and so is this product. Also, this does not work on DoD computers.

Very disappointed with this purchase. After spending over $100 on a USB-C hub, first I had to install the drivers. Ok fine, did that. Was honestly a pretty tedious process, but it worked eventually. The problem is, only ONE of the HDMI ports supports 4K, the second one only supports HD (1920x1080). Absolutely absurd considering the front of the package clearly advertises the "4K HDMI". This product won't work for me, as I have TWO 4K monitors... no idea why anyone would want to use two monitors with different resolutions, but I digress. The packaging should clearly say that it only supports one 4K HDMI and one HD HDMI. Instead, it says "Dual HDMI" in the title and "4K HDMI" as a "feature label". Incredibly misleading.

I bought this thinking to use it to connect my 2 windows monitors to a MacBook Pro all of those items I’m talking about here Were purchased from the same Best Buy store and a staff told me it will work with the MacBook Pro but after opening and reading instructions it says it’s not compatible with apple M1 chip. Wasted money. I hope Best Buy reads this and reimburse me or give me something that works with M1 chip.

I have used this docking station for over 2 years. This works well for my needs, supporting 2 screens (HDMI), keyboard and mouse (USB) from my laptop. I would prefer one more USB port for my data storage device but I haven't found a docking station with the additional port.

I am literally a computer scientist but I could not get this working on Mac. Uninstalled and reinstalled the drivers, restarted my computer multiple times, but it will not recognize any external monitors. The instructions are pretty confusing, even for me. Other docks are able to output to multiple displays without specialized drivers and needing to turn off security preferences, so I’m not sure why this one is so complicated. It claims to be plug-and-play on PC but I need something that works with both so I didnt bother trying. Also didn’t feel like trying to call during their 4-hour support window. Also, note that only ONE of the HDMI ports supports 4k, so you cannot use it with two 4k monitors. Also, the power throughput caps out at 20w, so it will not be able to keep most laptops alive. Decent price and it may meet the needs of someone out there, but certainly not me.

This is the THIRD docking station I have purchased to try to use my dual monitors with both my work laptop (an old HP EliteBook circa 2015) and my personal laptop (a 2 year old HP Envy). For the last year I have only been able to use my set-up for my work computer with its clunker of a docking atation that was specific for only EliteBook - see first pic). The other 2 universal docking stations I purchased were from Amzn and neither worked. The last one (which I received yesterday and sent back same day) even said in the manual that it required its own power cord which was NOT provided. Not only that, the power cord needed to be USB-C, which I don’t have lying around (I have used iPhones for the last 7 years). Finally, out of desperation I went to BestBuy to find a docking station. Ideally I wanted one that would allow for both my monitors to connect via HDMI. This fit the bill and was not astronomically expensive. Brought it home, was able to download the drivers easily for personal laptop, and install them via the included CD onto my work computer within minutes. Afterward, I plugged in the docking station to my personal machine, made the necessary adjustments to the display settings and finally had my dual monitors for my personal use (2nd pic)! Next, I plugged it into my work machine, made the necessary display setting adjustments on it and presto (3rd pic)! I stacked my laptops one on top of the other and set them in the corner of my desk and I am now able to simply unplug the docking station from one machine and plug it into the other to switch between them. This is EXACTLY what I have been wanting to do for the last year! I can’t believe I waited all this time and went through all this frustration when my problem was so easily and inexpensively solved! I should have gone to BestBuy from the get-go! Same with my washer and dryer but, that is a whole other review (do not buy from Cstco!).
