Customers are saying

Customers recognize the Wireless Display HDMI Extender as being easy to set up and use, with generally good picture quality. However, some users experienced inconsistencies in range and connection reliability, along with occasional lag. While many appreciate the extender's ability to transmit over distances, concerns were raised about the price and the product's long-term dependability.

Works ok but gets random 1-2 second lags. I got it so I could game in the living room without moving my xbox back and forth. Only good for casual games. Not good with high paced stuff. You definitely lose a little video quality as well. Still pretty cool though I use it to play diablo while my kids are awake.

Easy to setup, literally just plugged transmitter and receiver in, powered and it worked. 1080p. Used for a cable box and lag is not noticeable when changing channels. Can't speak to lag when gaming.

Its been the "better" one out of many other laggy ones through amazon. The picture quality is not the very best. However its presentable. Some laggy moments at certain times but it goes away. Im only about 16ft apart from both devices.

It sets up in seconds and does exactly what it is supposed to do. It also has good range. The only reason I am not giving it 5 stars its because it was a little pricey.

Works no LAG! Ok This product works with no LAG! I tried many products and this was the first one that worked with no lag for HD video. To be fair the instructions say their is a .006 delay. I display Youtube videos for concerts and use this new setup from a laptop to a display sign video processor. It works the best of any of the products I have tried. Spend the money it work

    Pixelated artifacts in video

I am using this to extend a wireless HDMI signal from a security camera NVR to a monitor so I don't have to run a long HDMI cable. The signal has a lot of pixelation and has these green/red artifacts on dark areas (like the brown conference room table). For our use this does not bother me as the source has good stored video, but if I were watching, say, a movie, I would be upset.

j5create hits it out of the park once again. Reliable audio and video reproduction with minimal lag. I'm using mine in our church from the upstairs booth down to the cry room. I have used other wireless extenders. What I like best is the on-screen display. I don't think anyone could go wrong purchasing this set.

It is very easy to set up. The set up instructions are clear. Also has an infrared TV remote extender. Everything worked right away. The two chassis are the right size to fit behind the TVs. I like the on screen status of the HDMI Extenders. It explains the current boot up status. If something is not right, I will tell you what is wrong.

I have a security camera system with a built in monitor as its "base" which is in one room and wanted to mirror it to a screen in another room. I was skeptical about this product since the signal had to go through a kitchen, bathroom, bedroom, and then another bathroom. This product was able to send the HDMI signal with no problems. Setup was easy too, just plug in power, HDMI cables, and wait for it to connect!

Great product, displays 1080p images across an office for us (used for extending a security camera display). Make sure you don't try to use this with 4k video because it will not work. When connected and placed with consideration of signal, the signal is strong and does work well.

I use this in large ballroom between podium and rack gear. It is excellent and very easy to use. Great when you have 120VAC power at the podium. Better than the unit that relies on USB power. Stable clear picture over the HDMI without the need for the power IR unit.

Bought this to replace a 12 year old Radio Shack a/v transmitter used to send a signal to a small spare tv in a location where we don't want to run a cable. The unit was easy to set up and has a much better quality picture than our old unit.

Disappointing - Loses connection after hours

This was very cool in concept, but disappointing. I bought this for my mother so her kitchen TV could be the same as her living room TV. The rooms are very close and there is a corner. A 50 foot cable easily reaches. It would work for a few hours, but then lose its connection. Sometimes a day, but then it would need to be turned off and on to get it to reconnect. I have since returned this and ran a 50 foot HDMI cable through the ceiling and use an HDMI splitter.

Hello, we're sorry the Wireless Extender did not work out for you. Running a 50 foot HDMI cable to our device will cause a signal degradation, causing to lose connection to your TV. We apologize for the inconvenience. Sincerely, j5. j5create

Does not have a pass through HDMI port, so his is only for remotely mounting your monitor which is fine if that's what you need. Has trouble keeping the audio in sync with video. If there is any power interruption, or when you restart, it comes back out of sync and you have to fiddle with it to get the sound synced. I had an Actiontec unit previously that was more stable. Signal is going through one internal floor 25 feet.
