I love these earbuds. I got other earbuds which worked well, but they only were compatible with mobile devices. That really drove me nuts because won of the places I use earbuds the most is at work and its nice to be able to have them connected to my computer so that I can go from music to a conference call seamlessly, but not have to take a different device with me to listen to music on my phone. These can actually connect with up to 7 devices which is really amazing. I’ve had headsets that can connect up to 2, but this is the first I’ve had for more than 2. Normally I’ve just manually connected to each device and paired with the other device later. I haven’t figured out how to clear a device without a factory reset though, which is annoying since it will automatically connect to any device nearby that is in its memory. So my daughter tried them out on her phone and it kept connecting to it when I didn’t want to until I made her unpair it from her phone. Despite connecting to multiple devices, it will only play sound through one device at a time. So that can be irritating if you have it connected to a phone and a computer and are trying to use the computer and your phone gets a text. It tries to send the notification through your phone and it cuts the sound to your computer. Really annoying for a conference call, so I have to remember to turn off the Bluetooth in my phone when I’m on an important conference call. There’s a give an take with any device like this so, as annoying as that is, it’s a small price to pay to have both devices loaded in the earbuds and ready to go. However, if you are using it and notice that one device keeps pausing or has no sound, go to your second device and turn off the Bluetooth and it will probably fix your problem. The earbuds will even talk to you and tell you how many devices its connected to so you an know if there may be an interference problem and can help figure out how to resolve it quicker. I’m sure there is a hierarchy, but I don’t understand if it’s the order you entered the devices, or the type of device. It doesn’t seem to be consistent for me. You do have to download the mobile app to update the firmware and get some of the more advanced functions, which is fine. They also fit pretty snuggly and comfortably to get the full noise cancellation benefit. The noise cancellation works really well and the fit is a big part of it. I’ve had other earbuds that didn’t fit my ears as well so the sound always leaked out unless I use the end pieces that were so large the buds were uncomfortable. Sound quality on calls is clear and the other party always says they can hear me just fine. I’m not looking for vlogger quality audio here so there may be other products that are better, but I really don’t care. I’m mostly looking at these for listening to audio and simple phone calls and it serves that function really well. I really like the wireless charging so that I can have fewer cords out. The case acts as a battery pack as well so I only need to have it charging occasionally and I can always find time when my phone is fully charged. This makes it so much more convenient to keep them at full power. Overall I love these earbuds.

Slotted between the Elite 3 and Elite 7, the Connect 5t is the newest addition to Jabra’s earbud lineup. As you’ll see in this review, that positioning seems right. The Elite 7 Pro has been my go-to earbuds since they were introduced, so I go into this review with high expectations for the 5t. The 5t supports both USB-C and Qi wireless charging, and even comes with its own small wireless charging pad. With up to seven hours of use on a single charge and four charges in the case, battery life is quite good. The case uses a high-hinge model (unlike the Elite 7 Pro’s center hinge), making it easy to open with one hand. Both the headset and the case have the high quality materials and construction you would expect from Jabra. While the fit in the ear is secure, they don’t fit quite as comfortably or tightly in my ear as the Elite 7s do. This could be the shape of my ear, so try to see which fits best for you, if you can. The active ANC is quite good on the 5t. Jabra has added microphones inside the earpieces to pick up the noises and block sounds that leak in. It’s a great concept, although I couldn’t detect any greater level of noise cancellation than with the Elite 7. Neither one is good enough for me to use on a flight or train, but is more than enough for every day use around the house or the office. Music through the 5t sounds quite good, with excellent clarity, crisp highs, and distinct lows. There is some slow transition on lows and it takes some tweaking of the equalizer to get the sound you’re looking for, but once adjusted it would be easy to listen to these all day. Calls are clear for both the speaker and listener, but this was the biggest difference for me between the 5t and 7 Pro. Whether it’s the microphone tuning or the 7 Pro’s use of both bone-conducting and audio mics, my deep voice sounds much more natural on the 7 Pro. The Connect 5t is an excellent, high-quality headset for music and calls, and is available at a reasonable price.

I have to admit I was pleasantly surprised with how well these earbuds fit. Having tried many different brands these, by far, have been the most comfortable. I've easily exceeded 5 hrs. of continuous wear without even a hint of discomfort. My ears tend to be a bit sensitive, so this is a huge bonus for me. Sound quality is excellent especially at this price point, delivering moderate bass, rich mid-range, and detailed high tones. The active noise canceling (ANC) worked well in most situations, but struggled a bit in louder areas. In moderately noisy areas, ANC worked great at blocking out environmental noise while allowing me to carry on a conversation without issue. The Sound+ app allows for ANC customization to tailor the level of noise suppression to your specific hearing needs. These earbuds feature three adaptive modes, ANC, HearThrough, and Off. ANC provides the greatest noise cancellation, Hear through disables noise cancellation and allows environmental sound to pass through the speakers. Off completely turns off ANC. Both ANC and HearThrough can be customized to your preference. The app also provides an entire library of "Soundscapes" to further mask the noise around you. Another nice feature of these earbuds is multi-connect which allows two separate audio sources to be connected at the same time. This feature performed quite well in my tests, seamless switching between Teams calls (PC) and phone audio. I especially like having the ability to mute calls directly from the earbuds and found that I actually prefer using these over my portable speakerphone during virtual meetings. All in all these are excellent earbuds and I would absolutely recommend to anyone looking for high quality at a decent price.

Hello DawnK- The Jabra Connect 5t was designed to fit most ear sizes and shapes. With some trial and error, most users are able to find a secure and comfortable fit of the earbuds, and it is rare when a user is not able to find a fit that is right for them. In the meantime, if you have not already, we hope that you will consider mixing and matching ear gel sizes. This may help as no two ears are exactly alike. Every Business Professional's Dream Earbuds

The Jabra Connect 5t is every business professional's dream! Finally, imagine switching audio seamlessly between your computer zoom call and then making a phone call right after to your client on your cell phone without disconnecting to pair to your phone. Scenario 2 for business - you have a personal and work cell phone. Now you have one Bluetooth for both phones with auto-switching to your phone. ANC, hear-through, and normal use are three audio options all business professionals will use in their day. The ease of use and performance are big selling points for the business world. With Bluetooth multi-point, decent ANC, and wind reduction, nothing will stop you from closing that deal! They can reliably suppress a much wider range of noises, both on work calls and when listening to audio. In my conference calls, I received compliments as they noticed my microphone was different; I showed them they were little earbuds, and I got two of my co-workers to buy them. Build and Fit These lightweight plastic earbuds will go all day with you, and you will forget you have them. With the inclusion of IP55 water resistance, the build is excellent, and they fit my ears perfectly out of the box. They have 6mm speakers and do not protrude much from the head. The color choice is discrete and subtle, making these a professional's dream. Six microphones work to cancel noise with 2 of the mics in the inner ear, which is a different approach than others I've used. I must say it works well! I notice slight ear pressure when noise canceling is turned on, but that is to be expected. Battery Life and Charging The Connect 5t case utilized magnetic charging and automatically lined up the buds to charge. The case provides up to 21hrs charge; the buds have a battery life of up to 7hrs for 28hrs without needing a power source. If you are in a hurry and forgot to charge your buds before a gym session, plug them in on the way, and you will probably have more than an hour's juice to get you through. You have the option to plug in a USB-C or charge wirelessly on the included Qi charging pad. More than one option to charge is always good, and I love that I can charge them next to my phone on the Samsung 3-device wireless charger I use. Battery life carries me through a full day at work, and you will not have any issues with battery life. Connectivity and Stability Bluetooth 5.2 with Bluetooth Multipoint connections means all audio is stable and consistent. There is no interference whatsoever, and everything sounds crisp and clean. If you are experiencing "interrupts and disconnects," try turning off the in-ear detection. If there is too much "ear hair" or something in your ear, it will cause it to think it is not in your ear. I found this annoying as I do not have much ear hair or wax. It was turning off the left earbud every time I moved my head too fast. If you turn this feature off, you will miss out on the auto pausing of videos and music, but I enjoy a skip-free listening session more! Sound and Codecs The sound quality is slightly above average for music, and leaves me wanting more out of the bass department. Everything sounds clean and clear, so it gets a B for music quality. As a business workhorse, it succeeds perfectly, receiving an A. Voices are crystal clear, and noise cancellation works well. Codecs supported are aptX, SBC, AAC. Android will have the best sound quality using aptX, and you get the normal AAC codec for Apple devices. Overall, audio is a perfect compromise for business. Features Multipoint Bluetooth connections Up to 6 devices can be remembered IP55-rated Water Resistant ANC and Background noise cancellation Wireless Qi charging case with wireless Qi charger included Fast Charging (10mins = 1hr) For what these were made for, I really do not have any recommendations to improve. Maybe add more to the low-end of the sound spectrum to help with bass when listening to music, but aside from that, these are perfect! Jabra, you did it again for us business professionals! Thank you for the innovation!

Another solid set of earbuds from Jabra

Jabra's in-ear wireless earbuds have been a homerun for me since I got my Elite 65t back in 2018. I've owned several in the Elite lineup over the last four and a half years, and recommended them to friends and family who have been equally as impressed. I don't need to write a long review to say that these Connect 5t follow the same trend. Even before ANC was available on Jabra's earbuds, they had some of the best fit for noise isolation of any earbuds I've used. ANC only really matters if the noise isolation is done well--and Jabra delivers here as they always have. The buds themselves are relatively low profile and don't stick too far out from my ears, and there are an additional 3 pairs of tips to make sure the fit in your ear canal is perfect. Comfort is good as well--I can wear these for hours without any noticeable discomfort or wearing fatigue. The buds have (approximately) a 7-hour play time with three full charges in the case...I've been able to use them for calls throughout my work day without having to worry about charge. The case charges via USB-C and is Qi compatible; Jabra also includes a wireless charger in the box (although a brick and cable are not included). The playback quality is good. These are not buds you'd buy for working out or leisurely listening, but they can definitely serve that purpose without drawing much criticism. They are NOT the best-sounding earbuds I've ever used for media playback--but I think they'd be perfectly acceptable for most listeners. These buds shine during conference calls. Because they can be paired with multiple devices, I have them set up for both my cell phone and my work laptop, and I can switch easily between them. And because they can connect to multiple devices, I can control the buds through the app on my cell phone while on a live call connected to my computer through Bluetooth. Folks on the receiving ends of my calls have indicated they can hear me well without interference, delay, or inconsistent connection...although Jabra's earbuds of late all typically perform well. The Jabra app is fine, although nothing to write home about. There is a customizable EQ component to the app which is always nice, but again, these are not the buds you buy because you want to customize your media listening experience. The app is the same for these as it is for any of Jabra's Elite buds, allowing you control of the button functions, ANC and Hearthrough, firmware updates and setup guides. Jabra's ANC is decent, but far from industry-leading. I think most people agree that the defacto standard for good ANC lies with the folks out in Cupertino, but with the great noise isolation that Jabra's buds and tips provide, I can live with it. There is a very slight static/hiss sound when ANC is on, but if you tend to like white noise it's actually kind of nice to not have total silence with ANC. I like these buds a lot for $169, and I think most users looking for a good multi-tasking set of earbuds to use at work and for some leisurely media consumption will be pleased to pick these up. I have known some people to not like the fit--so your mileage there may vary--but they are definitely worth a look if you're in the market.

The Jabra Connect 5t is a solid set of earbuds, but they didn’t quite meet my needs. The setup definitely feels premium, the case and the buds have a nice velvety smooth feel to them, they also ship with a wireless charging pad. The case will also charge on other qi enabled charging pads you may already have. There are 4 different earbud tip sizes that can be used making a secure and comfortable fit a breeze. The performance of these earbuds is really nice. The adjustable EQ lets you change how your music sounds. There are preset EQs as well as a custom setting to fine tune to your tastes. I’m not much of an audiophile, but music sounded normal with these in, the bass is nice and deep with the highs not being drowned out. The noise cancellation works pretty well, not to the extent that Sony’s higher end noise cancellation works, but on par with Beats Studio buds. I used these on a variety of different devices. iPhone 13 Pro, MacBook Pro, and a Dell Latitude laptop. For all of my meetings these allowed me to communicate effectively while not wearing a clunky headset or being tied to a desk with wires. All of my colleagues could hear me well on Cisco Jabber, Zoom, Workplace and Slack huddles. There no issues with static in the mic, the mic being too quiet or other audio issues. I also had no issues with the sound quality of the other participants in the meeting. There is an area I have issues with these earbuds. They are capable of connecting to 2 devices simultaneously. I thought this would be a good thing as I normally switch between my phone and my computer for meetings when I am on the go. This did not function smoothly at all. I would put the earbuds in and hear “1 device connected, 2 devices connected” when I first put the earbuds in. My phone and my computer would connect. Without moving anything, the laptop, the phone, the earbuds, the devices would randomly disconnect and reconnect spontaneously. This made listening to audio/calls a chore. This usually meant manually disconnecting the earbuds from either device or turning off Bluetooth on the device that I wasn’t actively using. Further, if I was using my laptop, then switched to my phone, I would generally have to re-pair them through the Jabra app to be able to listen to any audio again. Using multiple devices simultaneously with these earbuds is definitely a chore. I will likely dedicate these to be used with only 1 device to get around this issue. Ultimately these are pretty nice headphones when dedicated to a single device at a time. They fit well and are comfortable to leave in for hours at a time. The audio quality is good and the fit / finish are premium. Another big plus is the case. I had these fall out of my pocket (my fault) and noticed that I had left them at my parents house. After discovering that they had not fallen out inside the house, I checked the backyard, retracing my steps eventually finding the case in the grass, wet because it rained over night. The earbuds were dry in their case, put them in my ears and they connected immediately to my phone with no issues.

To begin with, if you are like me and generally use 1 earbud at a time...this is the set for you! Many earbuds advertise x number of hours use prior to re-charging, but limit you to only the right one for 1 bud use. With these earbuds you can use one until it needs to be recharged (stated time 7 hours) and then switch to the other while the first one is recharging! Additionally you can get an our of power with 10 minutes of charge time! The stated battery time is 28 hours including the case recharging. They have improved the ANC feature dramatically by combining the feedforward (outside the ear microphones) and feedback (inside the ear microphones) technology to isolate outside noises and the noise of your voice for a total of 6 microphones. This enables you to here office "talk" or the surrounding sounds outside without sacrificing sound or voice quality. I used these in a crowded café and even while riding my bike and was able to hear callers and be clearly understood. Music playback in great also. You can pair up to 6 devices and be connected to 2 at a time! It works with Alexa (built in), Siri and Google voice assistant and has Google fast pair and Microsoft (Windows 10 or higher) swift pair enabled. All of the controls are fully customizable through the MyControls feature in the Jabra Sound+ app. This unit has a 2 year warranty, and INCLUDES a small wireless charging pad, 3 sets of EarGels, a charging case and a USB-A to USB-C cable.

I love having a reliable, functional, and sound worthy pair of ear buds for work and play, especially since my wife always feels the need to forcibly inherit my ear buds. This pair of Jabra Connect 5t will remain with me! They come included with a very sturdy and impressive charging/carrying case. My previous ear buds always lacked in the area of a suitable case. Jabra hit the mark on this case which is a hard plastic casing with a led battery indicator. Each bud sits firmly in its designated spot with a magnetic setting. The case provides ample additional hours of charging which you would expect from any case. What sets this apart is the ability to charge either with a USB-c connector or simply sit on the wireless charging pad that is included…. for the price these are offered having the included wireless charging pad is a deal in itself. Also included are three sets of gel like ear cushions that get the perfect fit and noise cancelling feature for your ear. Once you have selected the right fit of ear cushions, these ear buds fit perfectly comfortable in your ear. I am able to wear both or a single ear bud for several hours without any discomfort. With some of my previous buds, they would start irritating me or getting a bit warm. I am able to wear these at work for several hours before the battery even gets low. The battery life is awesome. I have worn these buds at work taking and receiving numerous calls while listening to music and training videos via computer for almost an entire shift (12-hour shift in my case). When one bud began getting a little low on energy, I would just switch out to the second bud and keep on going. I am super impressed with the battery, comfortability, and sound of these ear buds. The sound is a definite plus mark also. Phone calls are crystal clear and the person on the other end does not even know that I am on a wireless ear bud. In fact, they sound better than on the actual phone. The ANC feature and Jabra sound+ app work great when it works. I am not sure if it is my phone connection or just the length of time that I have been wearing the buds, but there are times when there is a feedback sound almost like a rubbing on a mic in my ear buds at times. Also, there are times when I get a pulsating of the sound in an out where people on the other end cannot hear me. When this has happened, I connect both ear buds and it stops. Other times I have simply turned the Jabra sound+ app to the off position and it stops. I have yet to figure out what is causing this. I may have to reach out to Jabra and see if they know. Other than that, the sound and function is great, and it does not deter me from making this my go to pair of buds for the moment. The price is right, the case and wireless charging pad are a hit for me, the buds are small, comfortable, and inconspicuous when wearing, the battery life is impressive, and the sound is on point. I simply love these ear buds.
