I love the Up3. The activity tracking is spot-on and the intuitive assessments are excellent. I wear it all the time. It never interferes with my normal activities. The UP app on my iPhone is accessed first thing in the morning, all day long, and just before bed (becomes easily obsessive in a good way). The app/program gives great advice and learns about you as you interact with it...so you'll get more out of it the more your put into it. My only complaint is that the clasp is just ok...it falls off or disengages easily...to a point where it can easily be lost. I am constantly checking to make sure it is secure. Otherwise I am very happy with the product and app.

I love my jawbone up 3. It's a very accurate tracking device for steps, sleep and heart rate. Also, it's light and easy to wear and secure lock.

I just replaced my old one (went diving with it) with the UP3. If you want a slim tracker and don't need a display, this one works great! I have it synced to my iPhone and use a calorie tracker that is synced to it to track my weight (trying to loss a few pounds!). The only draw back is the clasp which tends to slide a little (open up) if you bend your wrists a lot. i have had mine come undone a couple of times when it was dragged past a jacket sleeve. I had my last one for a year without any issues. I have friends I compete with (on my team) and would recommend this to someone looking for a low maintenance tracker. It looks good with brackets too!

Keeps me on track. I really like smart coach it helps with accountability for sleep food and physical activity.. I find it fascinating how dead on the sleep part is between light /rem/deep. The steps are a little off sometimes based on when the treadmill says I hit a mile, but it's pretty close.

So far (4 month'ish) I am liking this band better than my UP24. I had an original UP, then the UP24, and now the UP3. It just keeps getting better. I had my UP24 on my wrist for over a year straight, only taking it off to shower or charge it. Now I'm doing the same with the UP3. I like the smaller form factor, fits under a dress shirt much better. The added sensors seem to work well. It is interesting knowing your heart rate info throughout the night. I would recommend this if you're looking for a small, minimalist form factor.

I got Jawbone Up3 when bestbuy slashed the price to $45. After 2 weeks here are pros and cons: Pros: Sleek design, light weight, accurate, nice appeal Cons: No cloud based UI to check historical data Always have to go through app to check Steps and Heartrate Restive heart rate only I would have returned the product had I bought at full price if $125. Definitely a good buy at $45.

The band could be a little more comfortable. The step tracking seems accurate. However the sleep tracking seems to be set at too sensitive a level. It seems as though I should be getting significantly more sleep than its logs as compared to my Fitbit that I've used for years.

Great band.needs a better clasp. Don't like that the latest firm ware update removed the manual sleep setting. Love the food tracker but they need a bit better search engine. Overall sold band, stylish and works well

I enjoy the Up3 for many reasons. It not only tracks steps but gives nutritional and sleep advice based of my age information and sleep pattern. I like that I can compare my week averages for sleep/food intake. It makes me more consciously aware of what I'm putting into my body as it gives food scores when I barcode scan items(which is cool to me). And it gives daily tips based off of how I slept and what things I can do to sleep better or if I got too much sleep. Only thing I do not like about it is the way the band clasp is. Since I am very active, I find it coming loose or falling off more than I expected.

I decided to upgrade my Jawbone band with the new Up3. I had read very mixed reviews but decided to take a chance based on my positive experience with my old band. The Up3 does not live up to the hype that it is the most advanced tracker out there. It consistently has to be re-synced to my phone as it never seems to hold a connection. It cycles into and out of sleep mode during high intensity workouts. The resting heart rate detection is a nice feature, at least when it actually works. I'd say at least several times a week I will open the app in the morning only to be told that I forgot to put the band into sleep mode, but the funny thing is, I have never forgotten to do that. This leaves me with an inaccurate sleep total and no HR reading. Lastly, the battery life is supposed to be about a week but I'm lucky to get 5 days so I just recharge every 4 days. The last time I charged was 2 days ago and today I got a warning that my band had less than a day of life. I had been tempted to return the band within the 14 day period for returns but I am holding out hope that a software update could fix these glitches. Until then, I advise those (including friends, family, and coworkers) looking for a tracker to get the Fitbit HR based on my many friends who have that and love it. If the problems I've outlined are not fixed, Jawbone can count me as another lost customer as to future products.

This tracker causes you to think about your health choices every day. The sleep feature is great because it brings awareness to an often overlooked component of a good healthy lifestyle, adequate rest. While the step readings are not 100% accurate, it is close enough.

I like the up3 and the app. I compared this against the basis peak and the charge hr. The up3 gives more details for sleep tracking. The basis peak was pretty good and on par with the up3, but the up3 is smaller and more compact making it easier to sleep with it on.

I have the various versions of Jawbone's UP activity tracking products and I have always loved the sleek design, but this is by far my favorite. I received a Fitbit HR through a program at work and it is huge! If you like touting to the world you have a tracker on then maybe that's for you, but when I am at work in a professional environment, I would rather not have this 'manly' band around my wrist. Although you cannot view your stats instantaneously on the UP3 band itself like you can on many of the Fitbits, the software for the UP products is superior to the Fitbit products.

Awesome activity tracker, and even better sleep tracker. I bought this for my wife for Christmas, she absolutely loves it. I wanted to buy one for me but, they don't make them in bigger guy sizes. Maximum Wrist measurement for this tracker is 7.4" or 190 mm. I could get hers on but it felt like if I flexed my wrist, it was going to Bust off. So I went with the Fitbit charge HR. Which fits bigger wrists.

Fisrt, a few drawbacks: I'm not impressed with the clasp. The tracker loses connection with the iphone from time to time. The most discouraging issue is that the heart rate monitor only monitors resting heart rate. It is not designed to track exercise heart rate. Other than that, it's a good basic tracker and the interface is fantastic. I would recommend the very base model or upgrade to something that tracks active heart rate.

The Jawbone UP3 is a nice tracker. Better than the UP band. However the battery life is only a couple of days even though the instructions say it is 7 days, I usually have to recharge the band twice a week. Wish they would improve on that.

Great band! Have had an UP since their gen 1 band. This one is by far better. Would have given 5 stars if battery life was longer. Last for approx. 5 days on a full charge. It seems less sometimes for some reason. Other than that no problems.

I use this to track my sleep at night and it does pretty well. It doesn't bother me to sleep with it on, it wakes me gently in the morning. It is a little glitchy at times, which I'm sure will be remedied with the next software update.
