Purchased these and powered them with a 50 watts per channel Rockford Fosgate Prime amp. No complaints they sound good and I got them at a great price on Black Friday sale. Not as clear as the Dieci Hertz components in my other car but I only paid half the price for the JBLs.

I bought Alpine SPR60c and returned it as it has 15% of bass compared to my stock door speakers and went with SPR50c and it was too small and same problem with bass. But tweeter firtment of both alpine was good and it came with everything you want but bad bass made me look for more and I ended up buying this after testing JBL GTO609 as this has lesser bass than GX600c. JBL GX600c is excellent for bass lovers and fits well with speaker adaptor. Only problem is tweeter which is too small and won't sit in place and the extra clams and flush mount was useless. No wires for speaker to crossover and from crossover to tweeter. I had to buy wire and universal connector to get this sorted... this is unacceptable. They have given speaker adapter which is good.

Sound really good especially with an amplifier. Most factory radios don't have enough power to get these speakers bumpin.

I researched these online before I purchased them for my cavalier, I purchased qforms kick panels for the speakers. I also like the fact that they are 2 ohm speakers which helps my Rockford Fosgate amp perform better by putting out more power, which makes them sound so much better the mid bass is unreal and now I can feel the snare drum and the tweeters are clear and don't sound shrill like a lot of tweeters

I have a little sports car but didn't want to spend a lot of money on speakers, this is the way to go. . .

Installed in kick panel pods from q forms in a 2002 cavalier, on a rock ford fosgate 4 channel amp pushing 75 watts to each set , they could probably handle double that , very clear and the treble is not tinny sounding like some tweeters can sound like , the cross overs work well and are easy to hook up

Installed these in my 2005 GMC Canyon and the only issue was the factory head unit ruined the first set I purchased a week ago: 12/4/15. I believe the underpowered factory h/u was the root cause of the right tweeter to blow a day after install. Factory h/u doesn't give enough power to the aftermarket speakers, which causes them to work extra hard, draw too much power and overheat. Love the speakers tho and will be installing a pioneer avh-4100NEX with an amp this weekend 12/12/15 this should help correct the underpowered issue. I also spent way too long in the store comparing speakers that will sound different after installing in a vehicle. At least I was able to hear these play to their somewhat true potential before purchasing (in store display). All in all, these JBL's have excellent highs and mids and better low bass then most in its class. and again, if your looking for bass, get subs. These are component speakers and aren't designed for low end bass. Excellent speakers all around tho.

I am a dj and major audiophile, I run 18" jbl's professionally and 8" jbl studio monitors when I'm in my lab creating music, I absolutely love jbl and I figured "why not put a set in my car" so I did and they are amazing, loud, bassy, well balanced and the sound quality is great, I expected nothing less from jbl. Rate 10/10

Fantastic speakers even at full price I got mine on sale for 75 and it was a steal if your looking for speakers and want a solid sounding speaker with good bass this set is perfect

I'm a JBL guy and these speakers did not disappoint,great highs and lows and everything in between,I listen to country to balls out Metal and it all sounds great with these speakers,especially when I listen to Power Metal or Symphonic Metal every instrument comes through nicely without covering up the vocals.

I had to replace a pair of polks components. one of the woofers started buzzing unfortunately. I replaced it with these since i am running a 2 ohm system and i will say these sound as good or better than the polks. Good snappy mids and highs like my rear infinitys . they do have lows but i dont recomend running them at 70 wpc bustin out the bass on these. Obviously like any system depending on the car etc. These were easy to install since i have all my crossovers in the back of my passat where my monsoon was located so i use factory wires took me about 15 mins a side

Got these speakers off a killer deal on Black Friday, extremely happy with the price I purchased it. I would just run a good amplifier to these speakers. I'm running a JL 4-channel amp on these and it's like being in a concert in my car

These speakers sound amazing and I had an audio tech at bestbuy install them it they were extremely fast and did an amazing job on the installation well worth the few extra bucks spent vs installing them myself.

Best Buy tech did great job installing these component speakers in front and they are 400% better then the stock GM speakers I had in my Silverado. Sound is Awesome, cannot wait to play with my new receivers equalizer to really amp up the sound quality, but, as is it is sounding great! Bass is thumping and the seperate tweeter is rocking the highs.

After replacing the whole factory sound system on my wife’s car I wasn’t too happy with the sound in the front. I originally replaced the factory with a 3 way pioneers and because the speaker are way to low (like most vehicles) I was having a hard time getting the highs to be where I wanted. So i exchanged those pioneers for this JBL component. I had to custom install the tweeter on the door pillars which was pretty easy, and also this set brings all you need. Now there’s a huge difference between the old 3 ways to this component set. Highs are perfect, I get some really nice clear, crisp high and lows are also a lot better than the old ones. I’m not running them on an amp, just the power from the receiver which is not a lot but way more than what my wife needs. She doesn’t listen to music really loud but it definitely made a huge difference. Got them on sale for $75 I feel like it was a great deal when comparing to the 60 I paid for the old ones. I’m considering buying a second set for my suv, and I will be running them on a amp. I do recommend to anyone who’s trying to upgrade their speakers.

First I want to say WOW! These sound amazing! I just bought a new Honda Civic 2016 EX Turbo, I love everything about this car but the speakers were lacking. They sounded OK but you could definitely tell the stock speakers were missing the full range. I bought these speakers because the ratings were very good and the specs gave me pretty good low end bass I was looking for. Keep in mind my car came with tweeters in the front and tweeters in the back deck so installing I only used the subs. As a sidenote buy the speaker adapters. Trying to install the speakers without the adapters was a pain I ended up buying two adapter sets for both the front and back. Also purchased the wire harness and foam stripping to help with any rattling. The full install took a couple hours with the help of my brother, we had a lot of fun installing them. The speakers do have to break in, They sound great on the first day but give it a little bit of time playing music that covers the full range the speakers sound amazing and powerful now. They might sound even better with an amp, but I was just going for a great sound with my stock system and ended up with an amazing wow system with a lot of bass.

The speakers I purchased jbl work and sound awesome. New tweeters are great and Jason who installed them was very professional.

Bought this as an entry level component system for my nephew. Thoughts: (compared side by side against entry level Alpine Component system) - Fairly Bright Sounding (alpine was more balanced overall) - Clarity when amped was more defined than alpine - Mid-bass was ok, not outstanding, but acceptable - Being ran off a mid-level alpine head unit with advertised 25W rms per channel, these speakers actually sounded great in a hatchback. - With a little tuning and tweaking it would suit most normal listeners' taste. - These are not audiophile speakers by a long shot. Don't expect FOCAL UTOPIA results for this price. - We went with the JBL because my nephew prefers the brighter sounding type.

Installing these into my '07 cobalt was a breeze. I was able to install them in under an hour with all the necessary tools and with the amount of screws included, it wasn't hard at all to easily install them. Must buy connectors along with the speakers as they do not come with them. For the price of these speakers, I couldn't pass up the deal and with everything included, it was a great deal!
