Portability is this speaker's main purpose. Sound is decent, not great. High volume fairly loud but some distortion when maxed. Design is nicely done and solid build quality. Has a mic so can pick up phone calls. Clarity of calls is great, but had complaints about my voice sounding metallic from callers. Wish it lasted a bit longer- goes for 3 constant use hours or so with loud music and phone calls. All in all, pretty good value at $50 for a super portable Bluetooth speaker.

I was looking for a small blue tooth speaker for use in teaching a kids exercise classes. Got the red one to "match" my ipod. This little speaker fit the bill. It is small enough to carry in my purse but powerful enough to be heard across a good sized room. Being portable and wireless it will go anywhere. I may get another one down the road if I need a "bigger" speaker but for now this one does just what I need it to do.

For a Bluetooth speaker this small, it put's out great sound with good volume. Even though it looks like older versions of the same speaker, it is better. Keep in mind that if you take the stereo lead mini plug and plug it into another of these speakers, the volume will drop considerably. Since you can only pare one of these at a time, this might be a consideration to some, trying to get more volume from having two.

I fly stunt kites for fun and I enjoy listening to music at the same time. I have been dealing with ear buds for quite a while, but this speaker may let me get rid of them and the stupid wires. Just clip the speaker to my belt loop and rock on no problems. The sound quality is great and I have had no issues with the battery life.

Sound quality is great for outdoors. Bass is clear and portability is great. Charging cord is a bit short.

Very surprised by the amount of volume the JBL speakers gives off for such a tiny speaker. Literally the size of an adult palm/hand. I purchased to use for work when it's slow. I would clip it on to my waist belt around connect to Bluetooth and let it play as I go. Variety of colors to choose from with the 2014 model. I went with the black. Recieved lots of compliments and looks lol recommend definitely.

I bought this speaker because of its size and price. Then, I realized this speaker is better than what I expected. The sound quality is so good compare to its price. The base is not very strong. However, it is a small speaker, so that is not a big surprise. I like the design of this speaker alot. I took 1 star out because of the battery life.

You can't ask for a better speaker at this size and price. I bought this speaker to use at work. It has crisp sound and decent bass. You can daisy chain multiples together but I use its Bluetooth capabilities. It holds a charge for my everyday use as long as I charge it regularly. I am happy with the purchase.

I bought this for my mother and it works great! She has an mp3 player, so having the aux hook up is perfect! The sound quality is really good as well. The clip is great for her too because she is always taking the dogs out for a walk so this way she can jam out while getting on with her daily activities.

Outstanding little speaker. Great sound at all volumes and I really like the clip for attaching to things. Battery life depends on volume but lasts longer than expected. Connects easy via Bluetooth. Comes with a charger cable that is around 8 inches long.

Surprised by the sound out of such a little speaker. Have another portable speaker and this is better. Also, smaller and more easily carried, especially in suitcase. Wish it had its own case. There is a light when on which is bright if speaker in total darkness. Solved this problem with a small piece of tape over light (still see light, but not bothersome anymore).
