These little things are deceptive; for their size and price they produce some amazing sound. They show how far Bluetooth speakers have come. I paid $85 for a single speaker that sounded as good or better than the $200 speaker I bought several years ago. And, for the price, it made sense to buy two for stereo, since they can be paired with each other. Doing so is cake, using the available app for your phone. The only major downside I have found is that that they will not automatically pair together when you turn them both on. I really wish they had this as an option. Sometimes I use only one speaker, but if I turn both of them on, I want them to pair with each other for stereo without having to do it manually. Doing so is not hard, so I can't bring myself to drop them a star just for that.

JBL the american company who speakers can be found in many concent live venues finally took things to an entirely different level with the Flip 3. Tone, Soundstage, Detail, Smooth highs and clean decent punchy lows. (It has little in common in sound with the Flip 2, or any other JBL wireless product) I have listened to 'every' product and brand on the market, including much higher end audio. This reminds me to an extent some of the top end Bowers and Wilkins products AC powered lineup, and the Flip 3 does beat out the entry level Bowers T7 overall in power & depth! The T7 is $339, the Flip 3 is $99 . Bowers does make the best product for home wireless use, in the A7 but that is in a different price tier and is not portable. For this price point, simply -nothing comes close- to its Music Presentation and pure clairity. You can use this wirelessly as well as wired for even better sound. When playing keep the Flip 3 at about or slightly above ear level. Strangely in some ways, voices in the midrange do trump is bigger more powerfull brother the new JBL Xtreme. I know cause... I bought the Xtreme and then returned it. Note the Flip 3 can be directly to a computer and playback Flac high res files. Now go discover a band called Radiohead and enjoy the rest of the year!

To whom is in doubt, just buy it! It will amaze you for its size. I had my doubts and I was between the Bose Sound Mini II(which I bought for my dad), Harman Kardon One, Sony X33, and JBL Charge 2+. The sound of the Flip3 was on par with the Bose and Charge 2+, better than the Sony and Harman Kardon. The sound was clear and could hear all the right notes, with a hint of bass from drums and guitars. The battery life is great too, better than the Bose, can say much about the rest. I think that for the size and money its the best one of the bunch available at BestBuy. Maybe the bigger brother JBL Xtreme and Harman Kardon Onyx have louder speakers, but those are always $200+ price range! For $100 price point this is the best! Note: UE Boom2 is another contender, even though it plays louder the sound is nowhere near the clarity and harmony the JBL provides.

I really love this speaker. It lasts a long time and the sound is incredible. It is splash proof so I always have it next to me at the pool. It last a good 8 hours playing non stop and that is more than enough for me. The size is great it fits in one hand and is easy to carry or pack anywhere. I am very pleased with tis speaker.

Small and portable, but with big sound at a good price! And it's not afraid to get a little wet - great little speaker for music and calls. I love it!

Awesome bt speakers! Lightweight, sounds amazing, for what it is they are really low priced, easy to pair, nice design, water resistant, the battery lasts forever and has a nice and rich sound (even when the volume is at the highest level). I want to buy another one so i could sync them and make a stereo system. Amazing quality! Thanks JBL and Best Buy!

This is the first portable speaker I have ever purchased, and I was pleasantly surprised by how well it functions! The speaker is very loud and extremely easy to use. The battery lasts quite long and you can still use the speaker while it's charging too! I played music off of my speaker for a party a couple of weeks ago and the sound traveled throughout the whole house. I've recommended this product to several of my friends and they have been satisfied as well!

I had always thought that JBL speakers were good, but not great...even their more higher end ones. But after hearing a sample in store, I was blown away. This speaker sounds amazing for the price tag. The bass is definitely there with subwoofers on each end. It gets plenty loud without any distortion and full clear, rich sound. If you're in the market for an awesome Bluetooth speaker, this should definitely be at the top of your list.

While I'm no expert on Bluetooth speakers, I know what sounds good when I'm tooling around the house, listening to cool jams. This baby get loud! The sound is always rich, even at full crank. Pairing with my iPhone was easy. This speaker does what it's supposed to every time. I paid $99 for this bad boy around Christmas (a gift to myself). I've since seen it on sale for $79. At either price, you won't regret it.

I own the filp2. Excellent sound and portability. I like the Bluetooth feature that lets me use it as a speakerphone. The flip3 has more battery capacity, and is waterproof. I didn't give it 5 stars because it didn't come with a nice travel case like the flip2. Would have added very little to the price, but I guess JBL wants you to buy he case for an extra $10. I went to the dollar store and found a nice case to fit it.

This is one of the best bluetooth speakers I've ever purchased. It connects great with my Macbook Pro and iPhone. I have two speakers and take advantage of the JBL Connect feature to listen to stereo sound. The sound stage is great, and the channel separation is wonderful. The two passive bass radiators on each speaker add a nice low end. It's perfect for casual listening applications.

The Flip 3 is a great upgrade from the Flip 2. The sound quality is great for all genres of music. The bass is strong and everything is clear and crisp. What makes the Flip 3 different is the protective splashproof layer. Such a great feature! The Flip 3 is small enough to take everywhere - on a hike, the beach, a party, etc. which makes it a great gift for anyone.

I researched bluetooth speakers for a while before telling my wife this is the one I wanted for my birthday. Received this item and I have to tell you, it is better than all the reviews I read. It is easy to hook up bluetooth in addition to having a 3.5mm plug into a regular iPod. I love its sound and its portability. I use it at our monthly poker games, when I go golfing, it fits perfectly in the drink holder, I use it outside when I am working in the yard. I highly recommend this product. I cannot attest to the veracity of waterproofness it has light mist and has had no issues though. Easy to charge easy to use, great sound.

I bought this speaker for my son and he loves it. It has great battery life and great sound. And, it is awesome having the speakerphone capability for his cell phone. It's the perfect size and the water proofing comes in handy for a teen that takes it in the bathroom. JBL is very good quality. I myself also have the Charge speaker.

I heard this speaker in the store. Great Sound!!! Good base and overall sound. Water resistant. Holds a charge well. very portable. Plans loud enough to hear in a small house or apartment.

Like the size of the portable JBL wireless speaker. I use it around the house while cleaning or working out . The sound it produces is teriffic . The sound is sharp , clear and great base. Its great to travel around with , its not to big or heavy .

This speaker is just what I was looking for!! Great sound, easy portability, water resistant and durable. I clip it on my baby's stroller for long hikes and on my mountain bike for off road rides. I'm new to JBL but I'm all about them now!

At first I was only looking for a radio for my bathroom and then I looked into the Bluetooth speakers available and saw this one on display and connected for demonstration. The general build of this speaker is sturdy and splash resistant which is always welcomed. The simple volume up, down and phone connection buttons along with the on button are placed in a straight line and easy to press. It came with a USB cable but no outlet plug which was a bummer and probably my only real gripe with it. The sound is fantastic and it's loud. In fact it's been loud enough to hear outside in the backyard clearly no matter how far you are or what you're doing. I was able to hear my music over loud equipment and everything. The other only thing wrong with it is the weak range of the connectivity. My phone connection would start to drop out when the speaker was in another room but no more than 15 feet or so away. I understand the limitations and it was no big deal for me. Overall, I highly recommend this product and it's amazing sound quality.

I bought this for my teenage daughter and she uses it every day. The around quality is fantastic. The bass is commendable considering the size of the speaker. I like that it can be used as a speakerphone as well. Easy to connect new devices and batter life is just right. I will be getting another one.
