Had the previous model of this speaker that I had to replace due to water damage, kids left it in the rain. This speaker sounds much better and seems to be way more water resistant than the first model. It has covers over all the plugs to keep the water out and case is pretty much completely sealed. Have not tried out the water proof capabilities yet but it’s just a matter of time before the kids leave it out in the yard again.

the battery life is optimal, very comfortable to carry, the sound quality is very good

Exceeded my expectations. Great product The volume and sound is excellent but what sold me was the aux cable port. I highly recommend this product

this JBL speak is super small. Like you can hold it in the palm of your hand.

I have only had this speaker for 35 days and it doesn’t work at all now! It will not turn on it has a red light that indicates charging even when it is not plugged in. When it worked it had great sound and was perfect for what I needed it for Return policy is only for 15 days very disappointing I had another JBL speaker that I’ve had for 5 years and it still works so this one has something wrong

Unbelievable sound! This thing isn’t much bigger than a credit card and will knock your socks off in the shower or poolside, like a good ole’ pool boy. I would put this speaker up against any compact portable speaker. When I opened it for Christmas it was already charged like a lonely housewife. Tiny box with great satisfaction and an easy connection! Who wouldn't want that? This thing sure puts out!

I picked this speaker up while on sale for $30. It has a great small portable size and I find the speaker to be really loud and sounds great. I primarily use it in the shower which it is waterproof. I have yet to have to recharge it since my first charge which was almost 4 weeks ago, and I'm using it about 10 minutes per day while in the shower. I recently tested it on my phone which also performed and sounded great as well.

I love this speaker. It’s worth every penny crystal clear sound, battery that last forever, waterproof, good bass, and most important portable. If music is the soundtrack to your life like it is mine what more could you ask for!

I was going to the amazon jungle and needed something small and cheap. This ended up being a great little speaker. Its water resistant, lite and durable. It has a rich sound and much louder than you would have thought being only 4 inches. No connection problems and battery lasted about 6 hours at a moderate sound level

This is a small surprise from JBL. They don't have too much highs and bases. It provides a decent mid tone which is good for soft rock style and not heave base music. It's light weight, waterproof, not expensive and also very loud for its size. You can put this in bathroom , side of the pool or even around kitchen. I use it to listen my audio books pop cast, Youtube videos, and they are great. Also they are much louder than my ipad mini 4.

It's pretty small...but packs a good punch...can get pretty loud. Is waterproof and seems built like a tank. Battery lasts a long time too. I use it all the time now. Very pleased.

You really can't go wrong here. Small, waterproof, good sound for it's size, long battery life, and great price!! The only thing that would make it better would be a higher volume!

I got this as a present for my girlfriend to use while she is doing her yoga and pilates at home instead of just listening to her phone. It's even smaller than we thought it would be, but the sound is pretty decent for only $30. Obviously you're not going to get deep full bass with such a small speaker, but it gets pretty loud, and plenty enough to fill her apartment. It has a cool look and feel, and you really could put this in your pocket and take it anywhere. Good value for a fun, stylish speaker.

I am so happy with this JBL speaker-- wish I could give it ten stars! I was skeptical it would sound tinny or the bass would sound weak because of its small size ( as big as a deck of cards) but I'm happy to say the sound is full and rich. The first day I used it the battery lasted for almost 7 hours! I especially love that the speaker plays a greeting when you turn it on and a good-bye drumbeat when you turn it off :) Thanks JBL! You've always made great speakers in the past...glad to see you're still producing quality products at an affordable price.

JBL go to is a great compact portable speaker that is shockingly loud for its size. Perfect desktop speaker. Also makes a great shower speaker.. not in the shower you lunatics. Just in case somebody was going to attach it to the loofah or something just to really test out the waterproof feature. Cuz I've seen some people do some ridiculous things when the speaker says waterproof and then they wonder why it breaks a month later. Don't take it in the shower with you, that shouldn't have to be said but I'll say it anyway. I meant it's a good bathroom speaker. Put it on the sink and have it in the bathroom with you while you shower. You don't bathe with it. If that happens and your speaker breaks you only have yourself to blame. And do not call JBL crying about a refund. You're an idiot. That's why it broke. Okay after saying all that. It's really good speaker.

Surprisingly good purchase!!! I did not expect the sound quality or level that this little device could produce. I'm used to the distorted and semi-decent bluetooth portable speakers that I have laying around the house, but wanted something better quality and that can be enjoyable when used. To my pleasant surprise this package was it. The volume was much louder than I had expected and more than adequate for when used outdoors in gatherings or just taking along on a fishing or camping trip. Not only volume but quality was good too without distortion or even much at higher volumes. I also appreciate the fact that the shape wasn't an odd shape that makes packing difficult but I could toss this into a backpack or a case along with my other electronics to use on the go. I think if you are looking for something versatile and portable in a small package, this should fit your bill. Also a nice touch that they come in different colors.

Good sound / bass / volume for small size. Can throw in pocket if necessary and was waterproof when dropped in pool. Battery life hasn’t been issue either. Really overall happy for a small Bluetooth. JBL seems to nail designs pretty good. Good for garage / kitchen music.

I bought this soeaker and it works good. You can take it where ever you go and sounds good. Its easy to charge and lasts a long time. Good for indoor and out door use and it was a very reasonable price. I recommend this if you like to listen to music where ever you go.
