This is a 5 star review but because it didn’t come with a charging block and I had to buy 1 for continuous charging I am rating it a 4. Incredible sound and love the Google interface!

This hidden gem is small in size but puts out loud and clear sound. Throw in the Google Assistant and a very competitive price and this speaker is hard not to buy. All the extras thrown in from waterproof rating to portable size. You won’t regret buying this nice sized speaker.

I have had the speaker for about three months and it has been very enjoyable; the Google Assistant is a neat feature, especially while cooking (setting timers & such). The sound quality is great, and the connection reliability to WiFi & Bluetooth is great. My only complaint is that it seems to have a short battery life; I think it is rated for 5 hours of play time. Which isn't bad, I suppose, but I wish it would have a longer life especially since I use it 2-3 hours at a time. I find myself charging it every other day, and to get it to full charge takes a while. Overall, a small complaint in comparison to its overall good quality & value.

This is a fairly small speaker for the sound that it puts out. i bought this on a Black Friday deal, best $50 i've spent on sound equipment. You can clearly hear the bass, and it is user-friendly and easy to link to a device. I love it.

Easy set up right out of the box for the JBL link 10. Quickly charges and you're ready to go. Great sound quality and balance. Reasonable price for a higher end smart speaker. Highly recommend.

I'm glad I bought this speaker. I got at discount price of $99 and well worth it. The sound is good for the price. If you want banging bass then get a bigger speaker but this one provides good sound for its size. Only draw back is that since its wireless it turns off/drains if you aren't using it so the start up time is a little slow when you turn it back on. I wish it would stay on when plugged in but I believe that's bad for battery life. Truly isn't a Google Home type product since you can't just leave it on but the assistant is fun once you have music playing.

Very easy to install. JBL's sound is great and the Google assistant is awesome. The assistant can do many things such as, play music, weather, nearby restaurants and many more! I would recommend this product very easy to use.

Works as advertised m. Sound is quite great ( and I’m an armature audiophile). Didn’t realize the google function worked totally on voice as well! Thought it was just when tapping the button. Set up is easy. No app needed!

I have been using the JBL speaker with the Google Assistant for a couple months now. Assistant recognizes voice and commands with decent accuracy. Sound quality is decent as you would expect for a JBL speaker but may need to bump up to the larger speaker as this would not fill a small room with the best quality sound when you pump up the volume, some distortion. Battery life is a little less than expected but I tend to leave it plugged in all day and typically don’t use as a portable speaker. Overall good bedside speaker with a Google Assistant.

Bought this as a gift for my husband. This little speaker surprisingly gets pretty loud. The google assist is nice, no problems with clarity or connectivity. It is able to hear me clearly from the next room. All in all this is such a great product for the price point, the only negative I can think of is the delay upon startup, it takes about 10 seconds for it to boot up. not having to stop cooking to wash your hands and press a button on your phone or speaker to stop or start music is worth the $60 alone. Would definitely recommend.

I was looking for an alarm clock for my daughter that she could play music from her phone on. Found this at Best Buy on sale and thought it sounded good. I was nervous at first about google assistant but it’s exceeded our expectations. My daughter loves it. She uses it as an alarm in the morning, listens to music or podcasts at night to fall asleep to. And because of the battery she can take it around the house with her. She liked it so much I ordered another one for another daughter. She loves it as well. And the sale price they are a no brainer. Sound quality is very good, not as good as our Sonos speakers but I really like the google assistant. Overall amazing value and system.

I had a JBL Charge 2+ before this and it was amazing with great battery life took a couple good hits and drops. The previous speaker lasted me 4 years and works better than this new JBL Google assists speaker. After one month of very light use, it randomly turns off, fails to connect randomly, and it makes a static noise if it's over half the max volume. This Google assist speaker also takes about 3 minutes to start up and about 5 if you take it somewhere with no WIFI. Good sound otherwise and the built in google is pretty cool too, but I definitely should of just gone with the regular one. I threw away the box because I moved shortly after and I was hoping this one would be just as good. I bought the speaker over a month ago, so even if I had the box it would be too late to return or exchange. Hopefully this was just a defective speaker but PLEASE KEEP THE BOX, just in case you decide to buy so that you can return if you have a problem with it. Thanks!

The speaker is a good speaker. However, the problems are, it comes with a bluetooth cord, but no AC to plug it and charge. No Aux on it, and the battery does not hold the charge as indicated. The sound is good, google voice, no problem, and they have a good customer service help department.

I also have an Onkyo that use with Google Home/Google Assistant, which generally lists for more than the Link 10 (or Link 20, for that matter), but which I purchased on sale for the same price (within a few pennies) of the Link 10. The JBL Link 10 has the edge in terms of appearance, and though I've seen the Onkyo rated higher in terms of sound quality, I can't say that the Link 10 doesn't hold it's own, or nearly so. Both took some tweaking to set up, and my suggestion is to take seriously the recommendation that you do so within a few feet of your wireless router, and make sure that your phone or tablet are not only using the same router, but also the same band. What prevents me from being a bit more enhtusiastic about the Link 10 is that, twice now, it inexplicably has ceased to respond to voices, as if it had stopped "listening" to voices with its built-in mic. On both occasions, I reset it (by holding down the the mic/mute button a LONG time, until it flashes pink), and then "added" it to my Google Home, again, by going through almost all the original steps. It's an aggravation, and I now have the same, original Link 10 listed as "Office Speaker3," but whatchagoingtodo? Given what I paid for it (about $30 more than a Google mini, at the time, and about $45 less than a Google Home), I'm not angry with myself for purchasing, but could be a bit happier with JBL.

This little speaker has big attitude and saved our backyard BBQ party - the sound was terrific and it was relatively easy to use. My only qualm was that if I used my phones Bluetooth to play music, the music stopped every time I tried to take video or use another app. This may be my phone’s problem (iPhone 10) but I haven’t had this issue with other Bluetooth speakers.

I got it and the product is a lot better than I expected but my first week I was already having issues with the orange charging cable. It came apart from the part that plugs in. Those cables get jammed in anything you plug them into. Anyway now my speaker is not holding a charge unless I wiggle and hold or push and lift the cable just right so I haven’t used it. I am not happy to pay for the insurance to replace and I believe it is a good product but it’s waste my money and a perfectly awesome speaker because it’s lack of attention to details. Also if Paired speakers cab both be able to respond to me and only a specific one (not even the closest one) which is annoying when you are not near the one that responds to hear what you need.
