Ordered an Open Box Excellent, hogh high hopes for getting an almost new speaker at a nice discounted price. I've ordered Open Box items in the past and normally BestBuy is accurate in their assessment of the product.
AllI have to say, there is no way any competent person would have categorized what I received as Good let alone Excellent. There was no packaging material, so the speaker had been bouncing around in the box, the charing cable was broken, none of the documentation was in the box even though it was stated that the instruction manual was included along with the forms to register the warranty, the speaker had significant signs of use (wheels had wear and inside the handle was scuffed, not from bouncing in the box). Within an hour of the package being delivered to my door step, I drove to my local BestBuy and the manager was very pleasant to work with and we reached an appropriate solution.
But! That should not have been needed. I bought an Excellent condition item from BestBuy, its supposed to be packaged like a new product with everything included, just with signs of having been opened with some minor use. Very disappointed in what I received.

Speaker itself is awesome. I purchased open box excellent when there was already a sale. The speaker arrived with a large dent in the front grille and clearly was not in the condition specified. Customer support refused to replace the item and said I could only return it and purchase it again at the non-sale price

The JBL PARTYBOX 320 is an absolute game-changer when it comes to portable sound systems. From the moment I powered it on, I was blown away by the incredible sound quality. The bass is deep and punchy, yet it doesn’t overpower the mids and highs, delivering a perfectly balanced audio experience.
The lights are a fantastic addition—syncing to the beat of the music really adds an extra layer of excitement to any party. Whether you’re hosting an outdoor BBQ or an indoor get-together, this speaker delivers a clear, loud sound without distortion, even at high volumes.
The battery life is impressive, easily lasting through several hours of playtime, and recharging is fast. Plus, it’s built like a tank—sturdy, durable, and water-resistant, so it can handle any environment without a problem. The Bluetooth connectivity is seamless, and the microphone input feature is perfect for karaoke sessions with friends.
Overall, the JBL PARTYBOX 320 exceeds expectations in every way. It’s perfect for any event and is sure to elevate the experience. Worth every penny!

This speaker is a fantastic improvement for JBL. I previously owned 2 Partybox 310's and bought these for the swappable battery function and auracast capability but honestly was not anticipating how much I would enjoy the improved sound quality as well. The vocals sound so much cleaner and clearer in these speakers and especially at lower volumes, it sounds significantly more balanced than the 310. I loved listening to my 310's at lower volumes from time to time, and it just sometimes was far to bass heavy for light listening, whereas with the 320 I think it is so much better to listen to. At high volumes the bass I think is just as good as my 310's and it sounds so much cleaner. At peak volumes with heavy bass you could definitely hear a good amount of distortion on my 310's and this is significantly less.
I know some people have mentioned the bass is less and maybe side by side it is barely noticeable, but I have not noticed any lack of bass, and if there is, JBL is notorious for updating that kind of stuff with software updates so i'm really not concerned at all.
There's the obvious perks that it gives you or that you find in online reviews but here's a few perks that they don't mention in any online reviews but I think are fantastic updates:
You can turn the speaker on and off from your phone within the app, this is an underrated feature, that I promise you, when you get used to it, is so nice and convenient. It will also connect the speakers automatically from the app so no need to press any buttons on the speaker, and if you had them connected when you turned them off from your phone, it will automatically turn both on and connect them together. This is such an underrated feature.
Also, there is virtually no lag with the wireless connection to multiple other speakers with video, this is huge for me because I use two of these for outdoor movies and I love that I don't need any wired connection to show a movie and they have no lag with the video. Most other brands have no lag on video if you are connected to one speaker but the minute you connect multiple wirelessly, there is a lag between the audio and video, with these that is not the case and it is amazing!
The hole mount for a speaker stand on this model is smaller than the older one, which if you have owned a 310 was one of the most frustrating parts of this speaker, anytime you mounted it on a stand it was too big or too small for the standard sizes on speaker stands and would cause it to just tilt to one side or spin around super easy. They have made the hole smaller and it allows it to fit better, it's not perfect, its still a little off, but it's definitely better than the 310.
Also, you have to really see the light feature in person to appreciate it, but the 310's light feature to me felt more like a gimmick whereas the 320's looks so legitimate and is just so much smoother and the customization capabilities are vast with this light feature.
It also has a DJ board that you can use with your

I recently got my hands on the JBL 320, and I have to say, I’m really impressed. The sound quality is amazing for its size—crisp highs, solid bass, and clear mids. It makes everything from music to podcasts sound fantastic.
What really stands out is how portable it is. It’s super light and small, so I can easily take it with me wherever I go—whether I’m traveling, at the gym, or just lounging at home. Despite being so compact, it gets pretty loud without any distortion, which is awesome.
Bluetooth pairing is a breeze, and the battery life is solid—lasts for hours on end. Charging is quick, too. Plus, it feels really well-built, and the design is sleek enough to look excellent in any room.
Overall, the JBL 320 is a fantastic little speaker for anyone who wants powerful sound in a portable form. It’s definitely worth the investment!

Love it! Got it for a small outside wedding with 60 guests. I was able to use the app to turn the lights off during the ceremony. Used the bluetooth to connect to spotify for the music. Was able to use the wireless feature and had no issues with power over the 5 hour event. Bought a wireless headset mic and plugged it into the mic input and we were able to hear the officient perfectly. We easily moved the speaker from the ceremony site to the cocktail hour to the reception with no issues. The speaker worked great for dance music. I went through 3 speakers before I settled on this one and I'm psyched obout it, cant wait to take it to karaoke nnight. Minor range issues during the cocktail hour but no issues during the reception.

The JBL Stage 320 is a great addition to the partybox speaker. The sound quality is outstanding , even at low volumes its great. I downloaded the JBL partybox App. I like the light show that can be controlled from the app also there are preset EQ settings or you can customize your own with the 5 band EQ, Im a fan of the DJ sound effects that they have but its a nice added feature. The battery back is also awesome if you have extra battery you can enjoy nonstop .The handle and wheels are great to pull this speaker around. I really like this speaker the soud quality and it get pretty loud. Whever you go you will find JBL partybox show .

I bought the 320 using 310 for several years with mics. Mic feedback is much less, and clarity overall much improved. Swappable battery is great to have especially outdoors and the bigger wheels makes speaker stabilize and not tip over like 310 when rolling around different directions and non smooth surfaces.
I do miss the big front phone holder that also fit my iPad mini with case perfectly, 320 model is much narrower and barely fits my iPhone 14 Pro Max with a case. They changed top mics control to dial knobs which is faster tuning, but I did also did like 310 color indicators of red to white to green showing intensity of effect. Also I’m numbed there’s no rubber feet on the sides of 320 like on 310, definitely like to sit speaker on it’s side sometimes to get it out of the way of stage, not sure why JBL took that away, gives me less confidence of it sliding and scratching in the bag I transport it in and on stage. Haven’t tried to new pairing system of multiple JBLs but I’m sure it’s much improved.
All in all I’m happy with the upgrade due to most important features its audio and mics sound quality improvements, thicker stable wheels.

TGM here with an honest and concise review. Simply put, if you're seeking exceptional sound quality, mobility (untethered from AC power), and hours of fantastic audio, stop reading and get yourself this speaker right now. I can't find a single negative aspect to mention, except perhaps that it could be a bit more affordable?

It's great indoor and outdoor. The sound does not dissipate outdoor. It is heavy so having the wheels and the adjustable handles helped with the portability. Good light show. Using the app provides you more options than what's available on the control panel. Am happy with my purchase.

This speaker provides the loudness, clarity, and deep bass that I am looking for. It is phenomenal for house gatherings where you are looking for some dance music for your guests. I also take this to the beach, parks, mountains, and just about everywhere I go thanks to the portable battery. I’m highly satisfied with JBL sounds.

YOU MUST HAVE! This is no weak speaker, you can hear it very clearly for a good 100yds or more. Great speaker. Portible, lasts along time 15hrs we had at the lake still had a quarter bar. And you can hook up a mic and a guitar it has a built in amp. Could make it a busking unit if needed.

This thing is amazing! The sound quality for its purpose is great. Smaller speakers with LDAC etc. may sound a little cleaner, but this serves a greater purpose. If used indoors in your home this can get uncomfortably loud. So beware! They seemed to think of everything. Removable battery, retractable handle, great wheels. The effect lab is also really cool.

For whatever reason non of the Best Buy stores had the JBL Partybox 120 available to listen to, my wife said it was an omen. I purchased the 120 online, listened to it in my yard, tried to like it but it just didn’t do it for me.. Purchased the Partybox 320, and I was blown away immediately. There was no doubt which one I would keep after listening to the first song. The 120 was nice but i thiught i was missing some mids, the bass was punchy but only at volume. The 320 on the other hand has bass at low volume as well as cranked up. The difference is night and day in my opinion. The only way i can describe it is I like to feel my music and just didnt with the 120. They are both very well made, the handle on the 120 is a nice touch, the handle with wheels on the 320 is a must as it is quite a heavy speaker. To be clear JBL makes a great speaker in both the 120 and 320, if you want bass get the 320. Im not likely to listen to it at full volume but the sound quality at all levels is so much better than the 120. Is it worth $599? Well i would have waited for it to go on sale but there was an “excellent condition” open box that sealed the deal for me. Bottom line the 320 has superior sound quality over the 120 and the bass is out of this world. Cant speak to reliability but I’ve have the JBL Extreme for 7 years with no issues, battery life still great
