Customers are impressed with the Quest Foldable Electric Scooter's light weight and strong build. They appreciate the great lights for night time riding. However, customers are not satisfied with the range and battery life of the scooter. Some have mentioned that the scooter stops working once it loses one battery bar and that the battery does not last long.

This scooter is more of a toy then a vehicle for for travel. The headlight is not very bright the rear and low lights are nice though. Please know that the lights under the deck do not change color. Only the light around the headlight changes color. It is rated at 18m I got 5m before it left me stranded and had to use my lamorfeeties. The screws that hold the handlebar on seem of poor quality. I returned the two scooters I purchased because the range was no where near what the manufacturer promised. Also I never got over 12mph (rated at 15mph).
Please note that Best Buy was very easy to work with on the return and I really appreciated how I was treated. Best Buy should have Jetson market this scooter more accurately so customers don't feel like they were lied too.

Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback on our Jetson Quest Scooter Please keep in mind that with all e-scooters, the range and speed will vary from rider to rider as it depends on factors like the terrain you are riding on, the user weight, temperature, etc. Our Quest is designed for ages 13+. Adults who ride, carry a heavier load naturally and will get lower range and speed.

I own this scooter and the hover 1 journey. I am 210 lbs and prefer the Jetson for myself and the hover 1 for my girlfriend who is 130lbs. I get a safe 10-12 miles on a charge in the city of Chicago. Someone lighter might get closer to 15-16 in the city.
The Jetson is heavier duty and has a slightly better battery. This has a better warranty and a lot more bells and whistles. The hover 1 has better brakes is a smoother ride and is lighter.
Pros:
non flattening tires
Strong build
Great lights for night time riding
Odometer
Awesome app
Leather handles
Good foot room
Warranty
Cons:
heavy
Bumpier ride

"YOUNG" ADULT SCOOTER

Almost nothing gets a 5. This can't have 4 because they bill it as an "adult" scooter, when it's more for young adults (12-21). I give it a 3 because overall it was a decent scooter and if i lived downtown or somewhere completely flat, this would be fine. Unfortunately, I am 6'1" and 190lbs, this scooter struggled to go up ANY incline for me. that is really my only issue, i would stress the absolute fact that anyone over 150lbs will not get good speed uphill...
I have to say that this was not as awesome as it was billed to be. I'd rate this as a good beginner scooter. definitely lacking in adult use.
Pros:
Not too heavy, Easy to put together, easy to fold, quick charging, moderately comfortable ride, effective on flat smooth roads, stylish look, good battery life and average distance (40 min and 8 miles on hilly road, still had two bars of battery), Nifty display(mine reads mph, some have said it stays KPH), bright headlight, very quiet, solid rubber tires eliminate flats, DECENT ACCELERATION ON FLAT ROADS.
Cons:
Cannot handle much over 150lbs with and quickness, disc brake squeaks and is not the fastest way to stop, no rear foot brake or electric motor brake, battery seems to go from 4-5 bars to 2-5 bars very quick, cannot be used in rain or wet roads, cannot take inclines very well, even for a light rider.
Overall I think this scooter is more for young adults and teens or much smaller and lighter individuals. 3 STARS

Works with some issues

Had this for 1 month at time of review.
Assembly: Easy, needs 4 bolts and the hex wrenches are in the box.
Use: Goes around 12-14 mph mostly. Doesn't work so great on steep hills without some kick assist. The rear brake is a bit spongy, but works well. It is strong enough that you can lock the rear wheel a skid.
Issues:
Cruise control: apparently, this is an unadvertised feature. I do find this somewhat irresponsible and dangerous that it's not even mentioned in the manual (think Toyota stuck throttle).
Lights: you cannot change or turn off the under board lights. Mine initially cycle red-blue-green, but something is wrong with mine. Blue flickers weakly on one side during the cycle and does not work on the other.
Dashboard: It does show MPH, unlike the FAQ/Review on Jetson's website. Mine also happened to come with a long scratch out of the box.

Owned about 1 month as of writing.
Easy to assemble. Needs 4 screws for the head/handle bar and it comes with the hex wrenches needed.
On a full charge it easily reaches full speed (15mph), but once it looses 1 bar, then it begins to slow down to 12ish. Needs some manual kick assist when going up steeper hills.
Nifty working brake light in the rear gets brighter when brake is applied just list a car. Hand brake for the rear wheel is strong enough to lock up the rear wheel when trying to stop from higher speed so you have to be careful of skid.
The production description on Jetson's website doesn't match, the screen does display in MPH. There's also to set the underdeck lighting and it cycles all the colors (see issues below).
Issues:
Cruise control: yes, this thing apparently has it as an un-advertised feature, but it's completely irresponsible and dangerous for the company to have no mention of it in the documentation.
Odometer: An documented feature that doesn't work. Resets to 8 every time it's power cycled, so i don't know if this is a "odometer" or "trip meter". Either way it doesn't work.
Under-deck lights: The app does not have a way to set the color or turn them off. Mine initially cycled between Red-Green-Blue. Blue seems to have died so it only cycles Red and Green now.
Final minor complaint is that there was large scratch on the dashboard screen when it new out of the box.

I am 46 yrs old, 218 lbs, and bought this scooter to quickly get around at work which is on a big military base. I read the reviews and I think some of the problems people have with it not being powerful enough is that there are 3 power modes that you can select using the sole button on the control screen. By clicking the button once, you can move between the 3 power modes per click. Mode 1 is the least powerful, mode 2 is more powerful and mode 3 is the highest. On mode 3 I can get up to 16 mph on a mostly flat roads. Also the sole button is used to control lights (double click), and changing from speedometer to odometer (3 clicks). It is cumbersome to do this while riding so you should select your power mode, lights, etc. before each ride. Build quality seems solid and so far no problems after a week of use even on very bumpy road surfaces. I gave it 4 stars since I surmise because of my weight the brake tends to be spongy and slow to stop, but I have never felt in danger, I just have to give myself some space to stop. I have tightened the brakes but it doesn’t seem to make a difference. Regardless, I have been impressed with this e-scooter and I am happy with this purchase.

I'm on my FOURTH one of these in less than a month. I bought the extended warranty but they won't let me return it. The first one worked okay but I hit a bump and fell over and then the battery wouldnt work. The second one had a messed up motor that worked when it felt like it, no lights underneath and a rear break that my bike shop couldn't figure out. Now to number three that I got two days ago. No lights underneath, but whatever. Then, I was riding slow and fell off it, it barely hit the ground and now it's making a horrible sound and is unrideable. Best buy won;t give me my money back so I'm considering cutting it up and using the foot pad as an automon in my living room.. DO NOT BUY

If I know what know now I would've kept my money in my pocket. If it's not fully charged it doesnt go no more than 5mph. I am 6'7 215lbs.....so when fully charged it can get up to 16mph. Once it loses 1bar its done....looking to sell and willing to take a loss to get it off my hands...

We apologize for the confusion here Teledo147. The Quest scooter can hold a max weight of 220 lbs before it is no longer able to function. At 215 lbs, if you are riding with a book bag or carrying any belongings, this would put you over the max weight the scooter can hold.

You have been warned not to buy this scooter. The first one would ride normally for 5-10 mins and then lose all acceleration and not go up any incline. I am 200 lbs so I had my 140lb son try it and exact same issue. I returned thinking I got a bad unit and the exact same issue occured on the second one. I also had my much lighter son try riding it and unbearable when fully chaged. Either they have terrible quality control or a terrible product. Your choice if you want one of those options as I returned the second unit to BB and purchased a different scooter for the same price that doesn't have these issues. Stay clear of this scooter unless you enjoy getting headaches or migraines. Any Jenson response to this I will ignore and you should to!

I bought two of the Jetson scooters and have enjoyed them almost every day. My wife and I take these out and travel the neighborhood. Great for quick visits to friends homes. They have a lot of power and we haven't had any issues at all since buying them. The kids and their friends love riding them, and the headlights as well as the colorful base lights, make them visable and safe for night rides. Charging is fast and the kickstand keeps them upright and tidy. Easy to fold and carry as well. This was a great investment and has provided a new form of enjoyment for our family. Would recommend the Jetson brand based on our experience so far.

very pleased; well-built; heavy duty; have put over 100 miles on it; after walking 5 miles, 90 mins. per day, and tv lousy during this pandemic with no MLB, I still want to be outside, and this does it; great on the bike paths, ride to the beach; I wanted the 18 mile range; the 15mph top speed is too high for most, but I've used it a couple of times to avoid car traffic; another pleasant surprise, the throttle lock; locks in at 7-8mph for relaxing, safe cruising; and saves my thumb; I'm 71 years old
