Best sounding but not the best noise canceling

As my title claims, these are the best sounding earbuds i have tried by far. I bought these a while ago and have used them daily. I am in school and have a hard time paying attention without music so it is important to me to have good headphones I have tried jbl True beam, jbl 770nc, skull candy rail NC, samsung buds live, samsung buds 3 pro, airpods pro gen 2, and finally sony wh1000xm5 the last 3 are the only good ones from that list In my opinion. So anyways I think this makes me semiqualfied to help make your decision. the things I most like about these are... I love the dongle it is by far the most convenient thing if I want the audio on my switch oled plug it in and boom connected in 5 sec no Bluetooth settings needed same with computer or any usbc device. just for this feature, I would buy these again. the antislip ruber base is great for when it needs to stay battery life they do infact last a while, I can go 4-7 days without charging the case the superb dual driver experience. I love the bass and overall clarity on these. I can hear details I never did before. The things i am eh on are the metal case can be great but will get scratched up really bad if you cary in the same pocket as keys or other sharper metal things Non airpod like design I am a android user who used to have an iPhone I really loved the airpod pro gen 2 they are over all the best for iphone and that being said I personally like having the stick there they always stay in my ear better that way but this design is ok otherwise. My dislikes They are very bulky, which can at times make it hard for them to stay in The ANC is not great. There is a difference, but not much if good anc is a must. These are not for you. I would recommend airpod Pro Gen 2 or Sony wh1000xm5 Overall, I would highly recommend these, but i can't give it a 5 star because of the anc not being the best.

Sound quality is very good especially with the Knowles preferred EQ. Noice cancellation is good enough. Transparency mode has a hiss when turned on to max level. Fitting is good so is the case and battery life. Cons: The earpiece is quite slippery and difficult to pull out from the case.

I have to give only three stars on this item...here's why: They sound great! The drivers for the bass are really phenomenal! The sound is much clearer and richer than my Airpods pro 2nd generation. The JLab app provides a lot of options. HOWEVER....I work from home a couple of days each week. I've noticed that if I'm using these for talking, the person on the other end let me know that my voice sounds staticky or muffled. I'm using the USB-C dongle that is included. I go back to another headset that I've had for a few years with a dongle and I have no issues. I'm not sure what is going on, but keep what I said in mind when thinking about these if you WFH and need to use these for talking through your computer for anything.

I have only used it for two weeks, and the headset can be used for no more than five hours after it is fully charged(And that's without using the receiver and noise reduction mode). The sound will occasionally split during calls. I'm not sure if it's a problem with the product I got. It still has its advantages, such as the noise reduction mode does not make the ears uncomfortable, and the earphones can stay firmly on the ears.

The noise cancelling is not very good for the price. Ive tried multiple ear tips and i can still hear when it should be silent. The app controls do not work if you use the usb c dongle. I expected better experience from this but ended up dissatisfied.

The JLAB Epic Lab wireless earbuds are a step up for a brand that’s not necessarily known for high end products. But they’ve done a great job packing some features that make these earbuds a good value. First off, like all earbuds, you have to insert these enough to get a good seal to fully appreciate the sound. Then the question is how comfortable they are when tightly sealed in your ears. JLAB includes 2 styles of ear tips (silicone and cloud) in 3 sizes each. The silicone ear tips were the more comfortable for me. PROs - Sound: I’m no audiophile but the sound are excellent once the earbuds are inserted properly with the proper fitting ear tips. If you’re a bass head, they may not reach the level of throbbing low beats you want, but I thought they sounded just fine across a variety of music genres. - Low profile: They don’t stick out much and don’t weigh much. Makes it easy to wear them for as long as you need. - Multi-point functionality: I wish all earbuds and headphones had this feature. It allows you to connect to two devices simultaneously via Bluetooth (though play from one at a time). - Dongle: Perhaps the most innovative feature of these earbuds is the included USB-C dongle. When inserted into a phone or computer, the earbuds automatically connect to the dongle, disconnecting any Bluetooth connections. This eliminates having to go through a Bluetooth pairing process when switching among devices. Most devices will recognize the connection as if it were a wired headset, giving you the highest quality output. - The earbuds support Bluetooth LE Audio and the LC3 codec which enables the same if not higher quality sound than standard Bluetooth with the SBC codec. And it does this with lower battery consumption. Not many phones output Bluetooth LE Audio yet, but you can get over 50 hours of playtime with it on these earbuds. - Spatial Audio: If your device supports spatial audio like Dolby Atmos, these earbuds will support sound spatialization. - Smart ANC: The auto noise canceling adapts to your surroundings so you don’t have to toggle settings for quiet versus noisy environments. CONs - Tricky to remove from case: The earbuds are clumsy to remove from the case with their slick surface. And the dongle reduces “grabability” space as well. They need more grip. - Dongle makes it simple to connect without having to go thru Bluetooth pairings. But you lose multi-point connectivity when using the dongle. - The app is annoying to use. It announces all button presses. So when you’re changing the EQ, for example, it announces whichever preset you’ve pressed. There’s no setting to turn off announcements. The EQ setting can only be changed while you’re playing media. If there’s no sound being played, the EQ cannot be altered. Perhaps this is a failsafe so you don’t unknowingly change the EQ, but I can’t imagine a lot of people asked for this feature. Overall I give these 4.5 stars. Excellent sound and battery life, but the app and non-easy removal from the case make me reduce a half star.

    Great set of wireless earbuds

There are many options out there when it comes to wireless earbuds, and many different price points. I needed something that I could use reliably during workouts because my Airpods weren't cutting it. I got tired of them slipping out of my ears, and the lack of true noise cancelling feature (face it, they suck in loud environments like the train). Along came the opportunity to try the JLAB EPIC LAB EDITION ANC TRUE WIRELESS EARBUDS, so I went for it. The first thing I love about the JLAB EPIC LAB EDITION ANC TRUE WIRELESS EARBUDS is the case. It feels like really great quality, and protective, materal. Not too heavy, and just right. The case holds enough battery for a few charges, and the earbuds have great battery life as well. The sound quality is great! They block out outside noice incredibly well, including my son's loud games in the background. I use the JLAB EPIC LAB EDITION ANC TRUE WIRELESS EARBUDS during weight and cardio workouts, and they have been perfect. Not once have the fallen out of my ears. Only one time have they tried to slip out, but that just meant that I have to choose a slightly bigger bud size (multiple sizes included in the box). This solved my issue right away. The fit is nice, snug, and very comfortable. The sound quality is great as well. I really enjoy the JLAB EPIC LAB EDITION ANC TRUE WIRELESS EARBUDS during workouts. I sweat a lot during my workouts and the JLAB EPIC LAB EDITION ANC TRUE WIRELESS EARBUDS have never dissapointed. The only slight issue that I have is that the case magnetically attaches the buds when charging, which I love because it ensures that they are properly seated for charging, but it can be a bit difficult trying to get the earbuds out for use. I still would prefer these earbuds for my workout over my airpods ANY DAY! I would highly recommend the JLAB EPIC LAB EDITION ANC TRUE WIRELESS EARBUDS to anyone!

Overall, these are wonderful. I charged them up on the first day and when I pulled the first one out, my phone asked me if I wanted to pair them without any having to do any fighting. Sound quality is really good and with the app I can set my own EQ or use either of the two presets. Most of the time the presets are perfect. I made one for podcasts just because I could. The case holds a lot of power and they lasted over a week of use 3-4 hours a day and the case was only at 40%. You get six choices of sized in your ear ends to choose from so fit is really good. Small, medium, and large in both silicone material and a memory-style foam. The mic works well and no one could tell I was using them instead of talking on my phone normally and I didn't have to resort to speakerphone. The included dongle makes using them on a compter as easy as plugging it into a USB-C port. The dongle is wide so it can block other ports if they are too close together. For the down sides, the shape is weird to get out of the case and they slip out of my fingers really easily. I also struggled to pause and unpause if I only had 1 in instead of both. Overall, a very good showing from JLAB

I will start off by saying I have always been a big fan of the Jlab ear buds. They always seem to have a great balance between sound quality and being budget friendly. I have to say, they knocked it out of the park with these! Although they aren’t without their flaws (more on that later) these truly are one of the best sounding earbuds I have ever used. …….and I have used a LOT of them! Out of the box you can tell these are a premium set of earbuds. The night weight of the metal carrying case, to the solid feel of the earbuds. There is nothing about these that feels cheap. While I am on the topic of the case, I will mention one of the minor flaws. The ear buds are hard to get out of the case, especially if you have larger fingers. It would be nice if the top of the case folded completely back to make accessing the earbuds easier. But that is a minor gripe. Much like other earbuds, the case has a battery inside that can store power and charge them when they are in the case. They claim 56 hours of playtime, and I have no reason to believe anything less. These things seriously last forever before you have to charge them! Also in the case is the USBC dongle that you can plug into your device to get Hi-Res audio. I tried it with some High-Res music files and they sounded absolutely amazing through these earbuds! One small caveat about the dongle is that if you have a case on your phone, you most likely will have to remove the case in order for the dongle to fit. The plastic top of the dongle is roughly ¾” x ¼” and I have found most phone cases don’t have that large of a cutout on the bottom for a charging port. Another minor annoyance that does have a workaround. lets now get to the sound quality of these things. They come with a bunch of different tips, so be sure that you try them and find the ones that fit your ear the best and that gives you a good seal. Then you will get the best audio possible. I have to say I was blown away by the sound of these. I have tried other earbuds that cost more than twice as much as these, and these ones sound just as good, if not better. Very balanced sound with good bass response, which is hard to do in earbuds. Im assuming that’s thanks to the hybrid dual drivers. Any type of music I threw at these sounded great. From classical, to rock and metal, all the way to hip hop and rap. It all sounded phenomenal. If anything, I would say they are a little bassy, but I love bass so these are perfect for me. Even if you don’t want it booming, there is a companion app with a full EQ so you can tweak the sound so its perfect for you. The earbuds also have spatial audio in addition to the Hi-Res audio. I loaded up some spatial audio tracks and I have to say these earbuds handle it very well. You will feel even more immersed in your music than ever before! In the companion app you can also adjust things like the touch controls where you can press or tap on the different buds to do different things like turn the volume up or down or skip tracks and things like that. I found all of the touch controls to work great, and I never had any problems with the earbuds misinterpreting what I was trying to do. Another thing these have is the active noise cancelling. There are 2 different modes that you can use. Noise cancelling off is the first. Be aware is the next one which kind of mixes what you are listening to with the outside noise. This is great if you are outside and want to listen to your music but still be aware of your surroundings and hear people or cars and things around you. Then lastly there is the full active noise cancelling. I find that it works very well, one caveat is if there is any wind around you. Then it has a really hard time blocking that out. But if you are on a bus or plane or somewhere where there is a lot of noise around you, it does a very good job of blocking that out. I found you are still slightly able to hear things if your music isn’t up very loud, but for noise cancelling on a earbud, they do a great job! Overall, I was totally blown away by these earbuds. If you are thinking about getting one of the more expensive brands, I beg you to give these a try first. You won’t be sorry and you will most likely save yourself a lot of money! There are a couple little design flaws, but the sound totally makes up for that

    Good Headphones with ANC

Summary ------------ I think this is probably the best in-ear ANC headphones JLAB ever put out there and they are very competitive. Extremely clear audio - crisp highs and punchy bass make this headphones a very valid competitor Pros ----- 1. Excellent noise cancellation 2. Excellent battery life - 13 hours on the buds and 56 hours on the case 3. Good fit - not too small or not too big 4. Very good quality, love the metal case 5. IP55 rating Cons ------ 1. A tad expensive Details --------- Connectivity is great right out of the box. I was able to pair it to my OnePlus 9 pro with ease and the connection was quicker than my Jabra elite 85t. Almost same as the Samsung buds 2 pro. That’s because it has the Google Fast pair and works flawlessly. I downloaded the JLABs apps to control the headphones ANC and equalizers but I like my music neutral and did not bother setting any eqs. The metal case feels very solid as well as the earbuds which has a translucent body (partial) The earbuds supports both USB charging as well as wireless charging. 10 minutes of charging gives about 2 hours of music. The battery life is rated at 13 hours on the buds and 56 hours on the case. That is pretty substantial. With ANC it drops to 9 hours but still pretty good. Talking about sound quality, the sound quality is great, crystal clear highs and not too boomy but punchy bass. The Bass is almost as good as my Jabra 85t and the highs are as good as the samsung buds2 pro I did not get a chance to check this headphone's ANC capability in an airplane setting but with the TV on, I think the ANC is pretty good Overall I am fairly pleased with the headphones.
