Really good suction mount for the price. I feel is similar to the GoPro mount, but cost less. Use it on car @ (40mph), and desk ( holds Sony a6000 ~600g). I recommend it. Pros: - really good suction, for a 3.125 inch suction cup. - good for action cameras, and small cameras. - sturdy ( when new) & flexible articulating arm. Cons: - can slide down if not properly cleaned surface. - flexible articulating arm can drift after excessive use. Wears down. Bigger cameras.

Awesome stuff from Joby! Absolutely value for money. Can be used either way. It can be inside or outside, it does its purpose to suck and stay. It held my GoPro on the freeway doing 70-80mph!

I used it for my one-week business trip. I only mounted inside the car and it stayed pretty well. I have not used it outside the car.

Bought the Sony A7 M3 on the manufacturers sale price. This mirrorless is the best all round semi professional camera out there. Handles event photography like Weddings, Celebrations with amazing grace and handling. Can can handle most sports themed events as well. Want video it does 4k/24FPS or 1080 120 FPS. Nothing touches it at this price point.

Great accessory to mount go pro to windshield to record scenic drives

I recently purchased a JOBY Suction Cup & GorillaPod Arm. I first used this product to make a video as part of a Colorado State University project. The suction cup was stuck on a clean surface on the outside of my car. It worked for a couple time-lapses and then fell of our car on a major road going approximately 40mph. The youtube video put out by JOBY claims that it will stay on at speeds of 150+mph. However, this was certainly not the case with my suction cup. I carefully followed all directions in order to avoid this situation... I then attempted to contact JOBY customer support and they were extremely useless. Taking forever to reply to my emails and they still have yet to send me a new product which they promised (proof in the screenshot). They also promptly denied reimbursing me the $50 it cost to repair my GoPro Hero 6. Never buying a JOBY product again.

I bought this Joby Gorilla Arm so that I could shoot POV video while driving. The suction cup is terrific, even over the crummy roads around Tulsa. The only downside is the vibration. That may be attributed to the length of the arm, combined with the weight of the iPhone 12 Pro, and the aluminum Reticam smartphone holder. Plus, my car has some age and rattles a bit, like all oldies. I have a couple GoPro cameras, but haven’t tried them yet. I emailed Joby to see if they make a shorter arm or could tell me how to shorten the one I have. No dice. I am working on a modification to add some stability. Otherwise, it is a good product. Just keep in mind that YMMV based upon the factors I mentioned. Oh. This arm can be used to attach other goodies to some Joby tripods.

The adjustability and quality of this mount is off the charts. I've used it successfully on several shoots already - LOVE it. Half the price of an OEM mount with more flexibility - I can angle it however I like and it has held up just fine. Suction is there - super strong with no accidental releases yet. I've used it while filming in Montana recently (super cold) without fail. Happy with this purchase - in fact, I bought 2. Go for it!

I use this suction cup to mount my foscam monitor camera to my windows. It's been over a month and still hold very very tight. I tried to pull it off but can't. I'm thinking about buying one more for my second foscam.

Strong suction, solid product. Absorbs a lot of vibration (I use it in a helicopter--lots of vibration). Easy to use, lots of angle options.

Sticks like glue, is inexpensive, curves to almost any position. And it appears sturdy. Used it this week on the inside of my windshield to record videos of rides through the countryside with beautiful scenery.

The suction cup works extremely well on glass and metal and is easy to apply and disengage. The Gorilla pod arms are extremely flexible and allow the camera to be positioned in almost any position. The product is well made and durable.

Purchased this camera arm to attach to the window of my car. With minimal adjustment and automatic righting of the view it works perfectly. (I had to use the camera in the upside down position but with the automatic righting feature provided in the GoPro camera menu it works great.

Great adopter for u camera great punches easy to use

I used this to attach my newly acquired Go Pro camera to the side window of my vehicle while driving down the road. Got some great video of the rivers and streams along my route.

I love their products. Easy to use and doesn’t mar surfaces. The suction cup is quite strong. I wouldn’t recommend it for high speed filming, as the joints in the arm do not have a locking mechanism, but, they are sturdy and won’t bend out of shape or sag unless you adjust it. Plus, all their pieces are interchangeable.

I wanted something so I could record while driving, so far so good. The suction cup is holding up well and allows for moving/removing with no loss of grip.
