Works as advertised. My son uses this all the time.

For last year’s family reunion we have a number of group photos with my son still running from his camera back to the group. I knew he was going to use his iPhone for the group shots this year, so I bought him the remote. He could press the button when he was in place and knew everyone was ready. All the pictures came out great.

Makes life much easier for use with the Joby Handypod.

Just need to hold the 'shutter' button for about a count of 3 - otherwise no instructions . Connect like any other bluetooth device - need to search on your device and connect

This units really is best for Android Smartphones - doesn't stay connected via Bluetooth for iPhone nd I have an iPhone 8+. Joby Tech support said they are waiting on update from Apple. BestBuy gave me a full refund.

The remote fit my Job tripod perfectly, although I was a bit surprised at how small it was. There is a slight delay after pushing before a click is heard on the phone; which takes some getting used to.

works well, but must be deleted and re-paired to Bluetooth each time it is used. sometimes wants to pair as a keyboard, and you have to interrupt that or it won’t work.

I bought this on a whim as i have always been impressed by Joby products, thinking i would not use it a ton, i found it to be quick to synch up and use when remote triggering my iPhone. Very portable, very quick and well worth the sale price i bought it at. Very cool.

Expensive for what it does, There is a lot of other for cheaper it’s pretty much just a Bluetooth button for volume which takes pictures for you. Only bought it because I was on vacation and that’s all they had The name Joby rubs off the 1st day

I bought this mostly for my videos but also to take photos. It only works to snap photos and the connection was glitchy. It would not turn on phone camera to record video. I ended up returning it.

I bought this Joby Impulse shutter remote to work with my Joby tripod for my Olympus OM-D and smartphone. The shutter remote works perfectly with my iPhone.

Originally, I though I’d be able to use this with my camera. However, I didn’t read that it was for cell phone use only. So, for what it is intended for, it works great.
