I won't write about the movies themselves, just this presentation. Both films are excellent transfers, with the first one a true 4K transfer (shot in 4K, edited and mastered in 4K and presented in 2K Ultra HD (3840 × 2160) on this set. The second film was edited in 2K, so some of the internet sites would call this "Fake 4K". To be honest, I couldn't tell the difference in quality between these films so while I understand the dilemma, it's absolutely not an issue to me. Otherwise, both films have excellent HDR, colors are true and balanced and the blacks and whites are great. The Dolby Atmos audio is perfect with distinct sounds from all 7 channels... It's totally immersive to use a quote on the packaging. As is usually the case, the bonus features/extras etc. are on a the standard Blu Ray discs (with 2K transfers of the films) and are 1920 X 1080 or 2K. There are plenty of extras for both films including excellent "making of" featurettes, out-takes and lots more. This set also contains digital codes for digital copies for online viewing via iTunes, Movies Anywhere, Vudu, and Amazon Prime Video and I looked at both of these films online and those transfers are also excellent. Since these are both relatively new on 4K UHD Blu Ray, the price is a bit steep, but the prices will drop as they make the move to the bargain bins. Even at $44 for a dould DVD set (2 discs for each film), the Best Buy price was the best I found anywhere. Highly recommended, especially to fans of Keano Reeves!

If you're a fan of the John Wick movies, this two movie collection is the best way to get them in 4K right now. They include all the special features of the individual releases (on the included blu-ray) and the 4K transfer looks great, especially on John Wick 2. I've heard the digital copy code is hit or miss, but I haven't tried it myself. If you enjoy intense, non-stop action movies with amazing fight scenes, these are a must-buy.

Got this for $20+tax and I just watched the first of the two movies and it was amazing...can't wait to watch part 2. I wanted this review to focus on the package this is which I don't see in any reviews here or even the product description so here goes. This package is a typical DVD case with slip cover. However, you can immediately tell from the weight there is more than the usual two discs that typically come in the standard 4K DVD case. Inside, there are 4 discs as follows: John Wick in 4K, John Wick in BluRay, John Wick 2 in 4K, and John Wick 2 in BluRay. In addition, there is a single digital code. It is redeemed at a third party site and gives you a choice to get the digital version at either Fandango or VUDU. I wanted Fandango but the code did not work. I tried VUDU, and it worked there. It shows up as a bundled title and is in UHD version. It seems I can only watch the digital version in VUDU. My linked Movies Anywhere account doesn't pick it up because John is LionsGate and Movies Anywhere doesn't deal with LionsGate. As a consequence I can't see in iTunes either.

John Wick has become a cult classic. He is the hit man's hit man. While these movies sometimes come short in story line, they more than make up with action. When watching John Wick, we already know the story line, someone has to die and John Wick will make sure that it happens. You can't do any better than John Wick if you need to get rid of someone. I've already purchased the 3rd movie in this franchise and am just waiting for it to be released via 4K Blu-ray.

I'd already seen John Wick on rental, but with the 3rd movie coming out, I wanted to catch up on the action and ... plot... and decided that the movies are so great, it's worth owning them to watch now and then again. After preordering #3, I found this combo with #1 and #2 and couldn't resist. Seeing all the action in beautiful 4k UHD is the only way to see these movies again!

Amazing movies! John Wick starts off really sad and pulls you into the story, the characters, and the emotions that put you on the edge of your seat the entire time. John Wick 2 Brings the excitement that the first one did and adds about 10 more layers of intensity to the table. Highly recommend this double pack and get pumped for the release of the third movie!

Awesome 4K double dvd set. Keanu Reeves kills it (literally) in both movies. The 4K picture quality is phenomenal and really makes the action scenes pop, bruh. This is a must buy at a great price. T wait for JW3 to come out next month bruh. If you don’t have this set, GO BUY IT TODAY! DO IT!

Wow. Simply wow. I was late to discovering the John Wick movies but I was utterly suprised. After buying this I was hoping to have bought the edition with the collectible Gold Coins but it was not available anymore. Either way, these are great movies, and Keanu performs great in them. Seeing them in 4K is a must.

My girlfriend recommended they see this movie series...And I’m glad I did it’s ultra fast pace ultra action ultra everything on a scale of 1 to 10 everything that goes on is that a piece of 11 I highly recommend you watch the series it’s great I can’t wait to see part three when it comes out on DVD

What is there to say? The movies arrived on time as predicted, and played fine as expected. No excessive waste of packaging, so there's that. I haven't tried the digital/download version, but there have been complaints by others. I can neither verify nor refute such claims. YMMV

John Wick 1 and 2 are one of those action films that defines a genre. The quality of the characterization, the plot and the action raises the bar to such an extent that it is hard to find an equal. If you enjoy action movies and you've never watched this movie, you will enjoy it.

Keanu Reeves best acting movies. He was great on the Matrix movies but John Wick is the greatest. Full of action and fighting scenes that leave impressed. Can’t wait for the third movie to come out on DVD so I can buy it. They are a must have for your movie collection.

4k, Atmos, and HDR are all noticeable in these films. Not demo worthy to wow your friends, but a nice increase in immersion over the regular 1080p Blu-Ray films. And cant beat how both of these are cheaper than buying both separately!

The John Wick series is something to behold in 4k. Not only visually stunning but it has equally stunning audio as well. Especially if you have a Dolby Atmos capable sound system. Incredible audio. Can't wait for the third to be released!!

I enjoyed watching both John Wick movies on commercial channels. But watching them in 4K DVD is a whole other experience. Fantastic picture and sound was crazy good! The extra movie tid bits at the end are well worth watching Would buy again

I loved the first movie, but hadn’t seen the second and decided to watch them both before seeing Parabellum. Great package with blu-ray and 4KBR for each. Going back and seeing the Red Circle in 4K was astonishing. Great deal!

These movies tell a nice continuous story with lots of action. The picture looks great on Ultra HD. Keanu Reeves delivers a fantastic action performance. If you are looking for action, then these movies are it.

Love the John wick 1 and 2 collection especially on 4K mode. Filled with tons of action, looks great and sounds great when action kicks in, already own John Wick 3 so this just brought my collection to life!

Both movies at a discounted price was a great bargain, and it included the blu ray versions as well as 4k digital codes. It looks and sounds terrific, and you get Dolby Vision HDR with the digital versions.

Got both of the John Wick movies basically for the price of one. The first movie looked great in 4k, especially the dark scenes, and the audio was amazing on my home theater. Can't wait to watch the second one!
