It is a movie of dark humor from beginning to end. It is from a young boy that is in the Hitler Youth and day dreams about being friends with Adolf Hitler. It takes place towards the very end of the European Conflict, with all the war taking place everywhere. I do recommend this movie for Adults, 16+ in age, because of the violence and subject matter.

This was a fantastically made film. Everything from the acting to the cinematography, score, direction. It is expertly crafted and is a joy to watch. Starts out very much a comedy but by the end it evolves into a hard hitting drama that is also heart warming. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

This was absolutely the BEST movie of 2019 and the only way to view this movie is to watch the 4K version. If you haven't seen this film, do yourself a favor and pick this up. You can't go wrong. It has action, adventure, mystery, comedy, drama, and of course, Taika Watiti.

Taika Waititi is skyrocketing to the top of the best directors list. We walked in thinking this was going to be a funny satire (which it is), but we weren't expecting the depth of heart and emotion. A wonderfully told story that includes moments of laughter, but also a moment to empathize and experience some heartfelt moments.

This movie is so well done! The screenplay, cinematography, and acting are so well done! When you think of WWII Germany, the first thing that comes to mind is definitely not comedy! But this movie proved that satire can range with almost anything! This movie has a lot of laughs, some tears, and touching moments! Highly recommend for anyone!

I watched this with my 74 year old Dad and he laughed almost as much as I did. I can see some people being offended by the film for some of its content. Some real drama sneaks in between the laughs. Great performances

Jo Jo Rabbit is a really clever and entertaining dark comedy. The cast is great and the script is funny while also maintaining a ton of heart. It’s a hard balancing act that I believe writer, director and actor Taika Waititi pulls off effortlessly. He won the Oscar for best adapted screenplay for this, so that should tell you right there of this films merits. This bluray contains an assortment of bonus feature and an audio commentary. Picture quality is solid as well as the audio. Contains a digital copy of the film.

Jojo Rabbit was such a delightful film. It may not be for everyone, but if you're a fan of dark comedy, satire, etc., you'll likely love it as much as I did. The writing was spot-on. Comedy bits were perfectly executed. A few emotional punches as well. Might be my favorite thing writer/director/actor Taika Waititi has done yet.

This film is one of my new favorites. The acting is excellent. Illustrates the insanity of fascism. Funny, sad, surprising, all at once. Characters have real depth and intriguing relationships. The 4K visual quality is amazing, and the music really compliments the film. Should be part of everyone's collection.

This movie will take you on a ride of emotions. Parts are laugh out loud funny. Parts will make you really think about what it was like in Germany toward the end of WWII. Parts will make you cry. Parts will make you cringe and feel embarrassment for laughing earlier. Should have done better at Oscars that it did.

This was an absolute surprise for me. Jojo Rabbit was a sweet, hilarious, and emotional movie from Taika Waititi. One of the best pictures of 2019. PA and AQ are great, so I advise anyone who is a fan or curious to buy with confidence. P. S. The character of Yorki will have you smiling every time he's on screen.

This movie is pure genius. The writing, casting, acting, directing, sets, wardrobe, props and cinematography are all sublime. Not only is it a rare glimpse into the history of those who “did what they could,” the ingenious combination of message and comedy is perfectly balanced.

I thoroughly enjoyed this movie. A weird, quirky take on Germany in WWII, with some surprisingly poignant moments. Taiki Waititi deserves tons of credit for not only writing and directing, but also his hilarious portrayal of H, but the young actors are great, as are ScarJo & Sam Rockwell.

I'm not sure how you can invoke such humor and drama into such dark subject matter but herein be the magic of JoJo Rabbit. It's everything you could want from a film and everything you'd never expect it to be. This films has heart, laughs, tears and doesn't shy away from sending some strong messages.

This movie is wonderful. It's funny, sad, a little off-the-wall, heartwarming. Loved the pricing - cheapest from the big box stores! Ordered online - arrived a little early (no complaints here). Wish there was a DVD/Blu-Ray combo, but don't think that exists.

How can you possibly make light of such a dark time like WW2?! Not much has come close since Mel Brooks! This was a great, loving, humorous, and still very dramatic film. I was caught completely by surprise! So the question was..."can it be done"? Yes, I can, and done extremely well.

A great film that you can look at, any which way. To lay it out, it’s a film about a German boy in WWII who is a nationalist fanatic that faces a dilemma when he finds out that his mother is hiding a Jewish girl in their attic. A great movie to talk about views, consequences, and personal growth.

I was shocked at first with this boy wanting to join the Hitler youth and idolizong Hitler. But this was a powerful coming of age story where this young lad goes from indoctrinated youth to enlightened and experienced.

This film has everything you can hope for and more. It’s joyful and funny, but pulls at the heartstrings in a beautiful story about love and friendship in the backdrop of WW2. A comedic war film from a child’s perspective is the movie you never knew you needed, and Taika Waititi delivers.

This movie surprised me quite a bit. It is a wonderful film in my opinion. The comedy was fun and the drama was heavy. The acting was top notch especially from the two kids the movie focuses on. I’ve recommended this to several people lately and they loved it.
