Jojo Rabbit is a great movie! Its presentation is unique and does a great job presenting important subject matter in an entertaining and relatable way. The cast is superb - don't watch any trailers - previews before you watch it - the storytelling is so different that you deserve and the movie deserves to be presented as the director wanted it to be - and we know that, because he wrote the screenplay, directed the movie, and stars in it.

Jojo Rabbit is a very impressive movie that manages to be laugh-out-loud funny in one of the darkest settings. Taika Waititi's acting and direction here is top notch. The 4k version is obviously the best with great picture clarity. The only downside is that it does not have Dolby Atmos for the sound, but the mix is still lively and great in a home theater setup.

Hard to categorize, a movie with wonderful humor, great joy, and heartbreak. All the performances are superb, especially Scarlett Johanssen as a devoted mother and Sam Rockwell who cements his status as this generation's most flexible and gifted actor. Sometimes the biggest gambles have the greatest payoffs and this pays off. Not a single wasted scene. Congratulations to Taika Waititi. Cannot recommend highly enough.

This is a great and funny movie by the director, Taika Waititi. I first watched it on Hulu and I laughed at the funny parts of the film. I like Taika Waititi's used of music by Rob Orbison, David Bowie, and The Beatles. Most of these songs were sung in German. I had my eye on purchasing this movie and Best Buy had it under $10 I have to grab it at that price.

This is one of my favorite movies. There are 2 people that I think could successfully pull off a farce about hitler, the first is Mel Brooks, and the second is Taika Waititi. Taika did an amazing job in this film. It never felt offensive at all and I am Jewish. Making fun of something is one of the ways to heal from the trauma of it. This film was absolutely wonderful.

Classic Taika. Was holding out waiting for a Jo Jo Rabbit steelbook but when this went on sale had to pick it up. Lucky it still had slipcover. If you havent seen you should as soon as possible. Hilarious film with sadness and some tense drama and suspense throughout. Watch M Night S's "Old" in thearors now to see a famialr face.

A young boy in Hitler's army finds out his mother is hiding a Jewish girl in their home. Great film. Great acting and costumes! Really regret not wat Hong this on the silver screen. It’s perfectly balance with drama & comedy. Trailer makes it look like a straight out comedy but it differs as you watch. Scarlet Johansson was amazing. Well deserved oscar nomination for this role. Roman Griffin Davis is a rising talent.

Good movie, the UHD is average...

I like the movie, and reccommend it to friends. If you want a synopsis, check out IMDB. The quality of the UHD version of the movies is pretty average, which is to say it's very clear, but there isn't content that would really test the 4K resolution. sound is quite good, but again, not special. The only extra features are deleted scenes, which you must view from the Blu-Ray. I agree that they should not be in the movie, except for one... The bottom line is you would probably be satisfied with the resolution of the Blu-Ray version, but if you need UHD, let it go on-sale first...

Jojo Rabbit comes to 4K with a nice HEVC / H.265 HDR10 presentation that boosts the details and color saturation. The DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 soundtrack is also superb and free of any issues. Comes with blu-ray disc and digital code. While the film's subject matter may not be everybody's cup of tea, I was very surprised by how much I loved this film with each rewatch.

Wow! I mean I expected the comedy to be golden because of Taika Waititi (who is great as imaginary Hitler) but this movie does an amazing job of balancing all of the seriousness World War II era with some heart of the with light hearted comedy to bring you back from the gut punches that happen. Great Movie!

I was expecting this to be really funny since it is Takai Waititi, and it was, but it was also very heartfelt and moving. I was not expecting to be close to tears watching this, but I was. Still, it was ultimately hopeful and a good film to watch. The little boy in this movie is great and I hope to see his film career flourish as a result. Keep an open mind and watch this film.

Taika Waititi artfully blends humor, sorrow, and real, emotional, gut wrenching growth. Humanity in all its best and worst forms are on display. Does a great job of showing us that we get to choose what type of person we are, despite what goes on around us.

Oscar Winner for best Original Screenplay, this uniquely clever, beautifully performed film is a refreshing change from run of the mill action flicks or vapid cookie cutter comedies. The 4K picture and audio are near faultless, and while maybe not to everyone’s taste, those who give in to its whimsy and originality should be pleasingly entertained.

Jojo Rabbit is irreverently funny, while making great points of about the stupidity of racism and the horrors of war, especially on children. Taika Watiti is a genius both in making the film, and for his absurdist portrayal of a boy's imaginary-friend version of Adolf Hitler.

Easily one of the best movies of 2019, and a worthy recipient of the Oscar for best original screen plan. Jojo Rabbit surprised me with how emotionally moving it was. Taika Waititi’s comedic style worked perfectly with this dramatic comedy of WW2 told through the eyes of a young “Hitler Youth” boy. I definitely recommend this movie.

I'm not sure what I expected, but this movie is not what you would suspect it to be. It is a parody and it does elicit some laughs, But where it shines is in its depiction of family relationships and the breaking down of religious bias and prejudice. I've liked it more each time I have seen it and it has consistently touched my heart and brought tears to my eyes.

This film is great, it is set in the this era of darkness but expressed through comedy and a young boys perspective in which you get to see what inner thinks I'm his position and how he changes throughout the movie as he sees more and more about what he believed in! Absolutely beautiful film, Taika Waititi is a director that will help save cinema!

One of the bests films I've ever watched. This is difficult for me to say because I have been watching "movies" for over six decades and am a film watching "freak"...So, when I do say it, it has significant meaning. This movie was a highly unexpected film that will forever be remembered and rewatched (several times)..Loved it...

This is easily the best movie I have seen all year. With such serious subject you do not expect to laugh so much, but this movie mixes in humor in brilliant ways. Late WWII Germany seen though a child's innocence and indoctrination clash with reality and reason. Awesome cast wonderfully made this movie great. Plus an unusual imaginary friend.

It's hard to truly take a horrific event in history and turn it into a rather humorous story while still expressing the suffering and pain that occurred. But Taika Waititi does an excellent job. You can't help but laugh at some of the moments with imaginary Hitler, but also find the deeply saddening moments as lives are affected by the horrors of war.
