Mainly bought this DVD for my father who lost the VHS version and he likes the DVD version better. better picture and sound. Thankful BestBuy had it.

A very accurate biblical story told in a form of musical. Great for the whole family to learn more about the true story of Joseph. They make it more enjoyable to learn when they tie in the musical score to the major themes. We can only hope they make more musical like this because this truly is a classic.

This is our number favorite DVD to watch. Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice's best. We saw the play two times. One time with Donny Osmond, and it was excellent.

This production has been a family favorite since its original DVD release. Andrew Lloyd Webber's group finally decided to release this fanciful gem on Blu-Ray. The video transfer is clean, crisp and bright and the sound is superb. The only drawback is that the "making of" extra has been recycled from the DVD copy. We could have used more.

My family started watching musicals every Sunday night. I loved Joseph when I was growing up and have seen it live a few times. I could never find the video on any of the streaming services. Luckily I came across it at Best Buy. Can't wait for the kids to see it on our next movie night.

I saw this musical in the mid 90's in Chicago with Donny Osmond & most of the cast that is in this film of the play and after all these years the songs & the story still stick with me. I wish this was on Blu-ray but with upconverting players it still looks & sounds good.

I love this musical of my favorite bible story! Growing up in the church i understand this story of joseph the most!

This movie is based on the play with the same title. It was entertaining and really great for children to see. It's an interesting way to learn about the Biblical Story of Joseph through the use of Musical Theater. It's great for the whole Family.

Is it the enchanting variety of the score or the fun and clever lyrics, or Donny's great voice? I'm not sure but this movie is a must for any family's collection.

Classic family movie! I love watching it and signing to the music. I wish it was in blu ray, though. Happy I now have it to watch over and over with my family.

I was so excited to finally replace my old vhs version with this dvd. It was delivered so fast! And in perfect condition. The kids and I are very satisfied :)

Beautifully told story. I've seen two major production of this musical and love Donny Osmond in the role of Joseph.

Saw the star of this when i was younger at the play and its always enjoyable.

OK musical, story fit the Easter season when I bought it, music was the headliner of this production, cast was good, could have been better

Wanted to be entertained, whereas this simply taped musical

My 11 year old saw this movie in school and wanted it. After purchasing it my 4 year old started watching it and now has taken it over. She loves to sing along with the movie, dance, act out and resight the words. I recommend this to anyone with children 4-13 years old. It is a fun and entertaining way to learn about a story in the bible.

WOW! Who knew Donny Osmond was such a performer?! The singing is fabulous and the cast is amazing! Everyone fit their part perfectly! It's a shame this Andrew Lloyd Weber/Time Rice collaboration wasn't promoted better. My kids wore out the VHS from watching it so much that we had to get the DVD - which has features the VHS didn't. I highly recommend it for anyone who truly loves a good musical.

This is a great musical. If you see it once you will be singing the songs for weeks to come. Buy it and see if it happens to you too.
