This is an excellent movie. I think Jules Verne would be pleased, although a little bit skeptical of the various systems of the Nautilus still functioning after this long. The DIY "scuba" might give a single breath at 3 or 4 feet, but no deeper. Also, getting a jump start from a giant electric eel is really asking a lot of "suspending disbelief".

The plot involves an adventure to a mysterious island based on writings by Jules Verne. Sean (Josh Hutcherson) is a young scientist drawn to the island by his grandfather (Michael Cane). His stepfather (Dwayne Johnson) is also on the trip as a member of the family. They arrive to find the lost City of Atlantis but need to escape quickly due to it's golden volcanic activity. It's realistic but the helicoptor pilot says it's in the Pacific Ocean instead of the Atlantic. The real Atlantis is likely under the North Beach of Paradise Island, Bahamas. It has ruins and other ancient artifacts which sort of resemble Mayan ruins. I recommend you see this movie and take a trip to Atlantis in the Bahamas. Experience it yourself and decide if you think it is Atlantis. Great action acting and directing. Mystery solved?

for the price of the tv and the quality of the tv the price is excellent. i would recommend this tv and with the built in firestick it s a $40 save

Journey2 Mystery Island is in my opinion an instant classic. My young boys love this movie and my wife and I actually do as well. Action packed, overall fun movie.

I enjoyed the movie as I have with all the ROCK movies and I enjoy monster movies, We need more of these type movie than all the ones we hear about in real life.

This film took me by surprised, in that I really enjoyed it. One of my favorite Dwayne Johnson movies.

My daughter lives The Rock. I dressed my tortoise like him for Halloween last year. She says she lives the movie and said 5 stars. So be it.

If you enjoyed Journey to the Center of the Earth, you will enjoy Journey 2. This one takes place in Atlantis with The Rock.

Parts in the movie was funny. The rock was ok. The younger kids liked it.

This was an okay movie. My daughter was looking for more of the Rock and Jumanji 2 entertainment. She and I thought this might be a good title to do just that. Well... Jumanji 2 it is not, but it's still fun in it's own right. And well worth the sale price.

If you are a The Rock fan you will definitely love this movie . Great price too !

Picked this movie for the roadtrip for the kids and they really enjoyed it.
