Wanted to love this wallet but pretty sure I got a dud. Plugged in the charging cord and connected to the wallet. It would only charge for about 10 seconds and then the light would turn off. I tried various charging bricks and nothing worked. Had to return. Bummer as I was excited about this product. The build quality is top notch. It's a very nice wallet. However $90 is also really expensive considering you can get other MagSafe wallets with Find My online at half the cost or less.

Great Addition to Magsafe Phone

This little holder is a fantastic addition to a mag safe case. It can hold about 8 or so average sized credit cards/ID cards (less for the bulkier ones). When it closes the magnet feels strong and secure as it's not going to open unexpectedly.
I also get a lot of use out of it for a phone stand on my desk. Something I never knew I was missing until I got this. I wish there was a clip or something for cash but I managed to fit some of it using the inside card holder space.
Putting the Phone (iPhone 14 Pro Max) and the wallet in my pocket feels a bit tight and hefty. What I tend to do is keep the wallet in a separate pocket than the phone and then bring them together when its on my desk and then separate them again when I need to move.
On top of all that this also acts as a location device for your wallet/phone and works with Find my Iphone although you need to charge it with the proprietary cable that comes with it. Battery life on it is solid and what you would expect on this type of device.
Overall very happy with this and I traded in my Ridge wallet in favor of this. Wish it had a money clip but that's my only real criticism.

The Journey LOC8 MagSafe Finder Wallet and Stand is an innovative accessory designed to enhance the functionality and convenience of your iPhone.
The first thing you notice about the Journey LOC8 is its sleek and elegant design. Crafted from high-quality leather, it exudes a sense of luxury and durability. The wallet is available in several colors, allowing users to choose one that best matches their personal style. The leather feels soft to the touch, yet sturdy enough to withstand daily wear and tear.
The wallet is designed to be MagSafe-compatible, meaning it can easily attach to the back of any iPhone with MagSafe technology. This magnetic connection is strong and secure, ensuring the wallet stays in place without slipping. The compact size of the wallet makes it unobtrusive, adding minimal bulk to your phone, which is ideal for users who prefer a streamlined and minimalist look.
As a wallet, the Journey LOC8 is both practical and efficient. It features several card slots, allowing you to carry essential cards such as credit cards, IDs, and perhaps a few business cards. This means you can leave your bulky wallet at home and carry only the essentials, making it perfect for quick errands, social outings, or even just a walk in the park.
The card slots are well-designed to hold cards securely while still allowing easy access. The leather stretches slightly over time, accommodating your cards snugly without them feeling loose. This balance of security and accessibility is crucial for users who want to ensure their cards are safe yet easy to retrieve when needed.
One of the standout features of the Journey LOC8 is its integrated finder technology. The wallet includes a built-in Bluetooth tracker that syncs with your iPhone, helping you locate it if misplaced.
The tracker is easy to set up through a companion app, which is intuitive and user-friendly. Once connected, you can use your phone to locate the wallet or vice versa. The app allows you to see the last known location of your wallet on a map and can even trigger an audible alert to help you find it. This feature offers peace of mind, knowing you have a reliable way to locate your wallet and phone.
In addition to being a wallet and finder, the Journey LOC8 also functions as a stand for your iPhone. This is an excellent feature for users who frequently use their phone for video calls, watching videos, or following recipes in the kitchen. The stand is sturdy and holds the phone at a convenient viewing angle, making it a versatile accessory.
The stand functionality is seamlessly integrated into the design, allowing you to prop up your phone in both portrait and landscape modes. For me this adds a layer of convenience to daily phone use, whether it’s for leisure, work, or staying connected with family and friends.
The Journey LOC8 is designed with user-friendliness in mind. Attaching the wallet to your iPhone is simple, thanks to the MagSafe technology. The magnetic connection is strong enough to keep the wallet securely in place, yet easy to remove when needed. This ease of attachment and detachment ensures that using the wallet is hassle-free.
The Bluetooth tracker setup is also straightforward. The companion app guides you through the process, making it accessible even for those who may not be tech-savvy. The app’s interface is clean and easy to navigate, providing clear instructions and features that are easy to understand and use.
Durability is a key factor for any accessory, and the Journey LOC8 does not disappoint. The high-quality leather construction ensures that the wallet can withstand daily use and the occasional bump or scrape. The stitching is robust, and the overall build quality suggests that this wallet is built to last.
The leather will develop a unique patina over time, adding character and a personalized touch to the wallet. This longevity makes it a worthwhile investment, offering both functionality and style for years to come.
The Journey LOC8 is designed to be compatible with a range of iPhone models that support MagSafe. This versatility ensures that the wallet can be used with various devices, making it a flexible accessory for users who may upgrade their phone in the future.
The stand feature is particularly versatile, supporting different viewing angles and both portrait and landscape orientations. This flexibility enhances the overall user experience, making it suitable for a wide range of activities and settings.
Considering its multi-functionality, the Journey LOC8 offers excellent value for money. It combines the features of a wallet, a phone stand, and a Bluetooth tracker into one compact and stylish accessory. This convergence of functionalities means you are getting multiple benefits from a single product, reducing the need for separate accessories.
The convenience of carrying only the essentials, the security of a built-in tracker, and the added functionality of a phone stand make the Journey LOC8 a smart investment. The high-quality materials and thoughtful design further enhance its value, ensuring you get a product that is both practical and stylish.
In conclusion, the Journey LOC8 MagSafe Finder Wallet and Stand is a standout accessory that combines style, functionality, and technological innovation. The high-quality leather construction, secure MagSafe connection, and multi-functional design make it a valuable addition to your iPhone accessories.

Of all the tech devices I own and have reviewed, THIS is in my top ten! I think the excellence is in its simplicity.
I want to start with the one "negative" I found though, which is setting up the LOC8 in Find My. I errantly kept trying to add the LOC8 as a MagSafe device, which I learned is not correct. This needs to be added as an accessory. It would have been helpful for this to be included in the instructions.
Everything else about the LOC8 is fantastic. The included charger easily connects and does have an indicator light to let you know when the battery is fully charged. You can check the battery level of the LOC8 in FindMy - there is no external or on device indicator.
The magnet is strong and holds extremely well to my iPhone 15 Pro Max, even through the case. I've had zero issues with the wallet falling off or moving. It stays in place!
The hinge is also very strong and stays put. Whatever position you open it to, it will stay. This is very helpful when using the wallet as a stand, which you can do in both portrait and landscape modes.
The outer shell will hold credit or debit cards; however, I use this to hold my business cards. The business cards are securely held in place, and I've had no issues with them falling out or moving. Internally there are also card slots, which work just as well and provide the added benefit of RFID protection.
This is a well-made, premium product. As I said, it quickly became one of my favorites. I use this every single day and it is an integral device for my use case. I would highly recommend the LOC8!

This is a nice upgrade from my old magsafe wallet. I found this one interesting in that it has the Find My feature built in. Some older wallets you needed to buy an insert and stick your airtag in it which was inconvenient. But this included feature on this wallet is pretty nice.
The wallet has a nice strong magnet so the wallet doesn't come off easily. There is some lateral movement on the wallet so it'll move a bit. I haven't found a magsafe wallet that this didn't happen to not a huge thing for me. I don't normally use the wallet as a stand but it does work pretty well for that if you're watching a movie/Netflix or something.
The card slots on this are my only real "issue". This wallet can hold 5 cards, 2 card slots on the interior and one pouch on the outside to hold the other 3. This is a personal preference but I would've liked it if the wallet had individual card slots for all 5 cards. Also would've been nice if it had a separate ID slot like my old wallet did.
But overall, this is a really nice wallet. Seems like decent quality materials and looks stylish as well

I'm the kind of person who HATES sitting with my wallet in my back pocket and have struggled with where to put it/what to do with it. The Journey LOC8 Mag Safe Finder Wallet just might be the answer. Not only does it serve as a wallet, but it doubles as a phone stand!
The slim bifold design easily holds up to 5 cards and a license, plus you can place cash between the fold. Unfortunately, cash would have a tendency to fall out when the wallet is used as a phone stand. However, I noticed on Journey's website that they show this item with a money clip between the folds. I'm not sure whether they've changed the design and not updated their website, or I got one without a money clip. Either way, a "clip" would be a benefit, although it might make it thicker (not as slim).
As a test, I placed three credit cards and my license into the outer pouch and dropped the wallet from a height of about four feet onto a carpeted floor. Although the credit cards did not come out, one did slip out of the pouch slightly. Maybe the grip is better if I fill it with more cards. I then performed another test with the wallet attached to my phone (in a case) and dropped it the same way. Unfortunately, the wallet popped off of the phone. (this was a non-scientific test, and I only did it a couple times so keep that in mind!) I assume the wallet would adhere to the phone better if I didn't attach it to a case. Short of the drop test, the magnet is super-strong and holds the wallet securely to the phone, even with a Mag Safe case.
The LOC8 also has a "find my" feature where you can use an app on the phone to locate the wallet if you lose it. However, if the wallet is attached to the phone, there doesn't seem to be a way to "ping" the wallet! If your wallet and phone are separate, this feature works very well. The "beep" emitted from the wallet is loud enough to assist in locating the wallet.
The wallet has RFID technology to help protect your credit card data and the protective lining helps keep your cards from becoming demagnetized.
It seems a little pricey as just a wallet, but the additional features just might make it worth it.
I give it a five star rating as it does what is is supposed to do, and does it well!

Carrying a money clip around rather than a full size wallet is more convenient, especially when you have small pockets. The Loc8 by Journey takes it to another level by incorporating MagSafe iPhone magnetic lock so you can piggyback it. I really like the premium leather feel and how the back and inside slots hold up to 5 cards or nearly folded bills.
I found a small issue pairing the wallet with my phone, but it was entirely my error. I tried to add it as a MagSafe device when the instructions say to add it as other+. Once that was settled, it paired instantly allowing the unit to act as a tag in case it's misplaced.
It's great on the phone as it doubles also as a stand to hold the phone in either landscape or portrait orientations. I don't find myself keeping it attached due to the extra thickness it imbues. The only quirk I noticed was, after a while having it along with me on travel, colleagues noted that a message would occasionally appear on their phones saying a Loc8 device was traveling nearby. May pose an issue with privacy, unless somehow the pairing button is pressed inadvertently.
Otherwise it's an awesome accessory to have with you regardless of your situation. Even if it's not used for it's intended purpose, it can be used as an iPhone tag.

The Journey Finder wallet is a decent MagSafe wallet, depending on what your needs are.
The wallet comes with a proprietary charging cable that and the MagSafe wallet. This is my first time using a “find my” device for Apple. There is a built-in siren that goes off when you try to locate it through the Find My app. The notification actually sounds loud and clear, enabling you to hear it from another room, or if it gets stuck in a couch etc.
The craftmanship of the wallet seems nice at first, but upon close inspection I noticed that that the seams can easily come apart. Only time will tell how long the stitching will last. The built-in magnet is very sturdy when properly attached to the iPhone, although if you have a case that isn’t MagSafe compatible the wallet will fall right off. In my case, I just ended up attaching a metal ring I had laying around from a previous car mount. Making my wallet say firmly attached to my iPhone case.
After using this for a few days, I noticed a few things about this wallet. First thing is comfort. When the wallet is attached, it’s not easy to hold my iPhone as it makes it too bulky. Luckily, I can just pull the wallet off when using it. Second, is convenience. Having to remove the wallet whenever I want to use my phone or place it in my car mount, makes it more of a hassle than convenience. Finally, while I do like being able to use the wallet as a phone stand, and the tracking feature is a huge bonus, I don’t like my credit cards being so exposed to slipping out of my wallet…I can definitely see this happening after the fabrics expands and wears, and that's something I don't want to risk. Unfortunately, I can't recommend using this for something that important.

The JOURNEY LOC 8 does what it says it does. It's a wallet. It connects to iPhones with MagSafe. It stores up to 5 cards. It acts as a kickstand in portrait OR landscape orientation. It checks all the boxes it's trying to.
Just one SMALL problem. This bad boy is BIG!
Now a little bit of background - I've been an avid fan of the OEM magnetic wallets. I dont mind the extra bulk of a basic magnetic wallet, but when you combine the bulk of a case, then even those thinner 3-card wallets, things are already getting pretty thick. On top of that, the wallet needs to be small and light to stay put on the phone, not because the magnets aren't strong, but because larger, bulkier items tend to get "knocked loose" more easily from the phone's back.
Unfortunately, this product suffers terribly from this. Again, on paper it check all the boxes and delivers a great set of functions and improved capacity for things like cash (instead of one of he cards) which is lacking in the simpler wallets, but this thing makes the phone so bulky (especially on a Pro Max variant of the iPhone) that it wont fit in many pockets, which defeats the purpose.
Not withstanding my negativity, this product is an INTERESTING concept - If it could be done with less base bulk (while the card-side of the wallet needs to be its size) and the hinge could be simplified to be more of a fold/crease rather than a mechanical bulky hinge, then this could become a winner. In its current state however, by itself (without the phone) it's bigger than my full-featured wallet with money clip. Its not for me, but if someone knows what they're getting into bulk-wise, it seems to be a good sturdy product fit for purpose and well designed/built.

I rated it 5 stars but I wish it was more secure when you have a phone cover on. I have a regular clear phone cover on my phone and my husband has a mag safe cover but if you tug hard enough it can slip right off. Most guys keep their phone inside their pockets and one tough shove without looking could detach this and that is one thing I do not like about it. I will say though that without the case it is more secure which is why I did give it 5 stars. I do feel like it is thick enough to realize it is not with you or if it drops it is noticeable, but not everyone is that aware when they are occupied.
The mag safe wallet finder is very easy to connect to your phone. Open up the iPhone finder, click add other device and just like that it is connected to your phone. It has 5 different slots which is plenty for the important items. It is not too bulky, but bulky enough.
The ability to open and close it is very stiff which I like because it won't just pop open if you are using it as a stand. All in all, I find this magsafe finder wallet convenient and easy to use. You don't have to download another app, you just add it to your find your items. That is a huge plus. I would definitely recommend it!

First thing I noticed when opening the box, the pull tabs for the plastic seals are identical to Apple’s. The slightly elastic and opaque plastic with the green arrow. Interesting. The hanging tab for box display is retractable, so it appears a lot of thought went into the packaging. Ideally, the care put into the product matches the care they put into the packaging.
Inside the box is some paper stuff that I don’t read, the wallet/stand, and a USB-C to magnet charger, which appears to be proprietary. Charging is indicated by a small white light, which turns off when it’s done charging.
Pairing to my phone was easy - I held the small button, it made a chirping sound, then popped up as my wallet in the Find My app. It emits a noisy melody when you want to find it, but it doesn’t have the arrow locator that AirTags do.
The hinge is really strong and infinitely adjustable - you can use it as a stand or grip, while the magnet is as strong as every other Apple-branded MagSafe accessory. The outside of the wallet holds your most used cards a la Apple’s solution and the inside pockets are standard wallet types. It’s nice and slim; an excellent solution. Love it.

The wallet is well made and does everything it claims. It is thicker than I expected but works well. I started wanting to carry mainly my important cards with me instead of having to carry a wallet around of most the times. This allowed me to card my most important cards whether it be credit cards, debit, or my drivers license. Easily fits the five cards it says it does and quite comfortable with my signs of strain on the wallet itself. The magnetic hold of the wallet is great too very strong and lasting. Easy to pair with my Apple phone and appears in the find my app within seconds. The sound coming from the Wallet is loud enough to find it. The only part I am not a big fan of is the charging feature. The charge lasts for weeks and I haven’t had the need to worry about the charge ever. Charges very quickly in the laptop. But it is still far better than using a finder or AirTag. Overall I love this Wallet. Looks sleek and stylish with my phone. It is not too bulky either. Great at the price point. Would highly recommend to anyone.

MagSafe wallet with plenty of room. I liked the concept of this since I have a large wallet with a ton of cards and the idea of having them attached to my phone is great. The setup was pretty simple. I unboxed it and pressed a small button on the wallet to enable pairing mode. Then on my Iphone I went to Find My and selected "add other item" to connect it. Then I charged it but I still do not know how to keep up with the charging since there is not a battery indicater on my phone or the wallet.
Use:
I used the wallet for holding my ID and CC's and it was handy. The find my app was accurate in locating my wallet in my home. I liked the stand function that it serves both portrait and landscape.
Cons:
I still need to take off the wallet for charging which is in my car and at home. Also it seems like this drains my battery more than normal. I looked into settings and there is not anything specific that seems to indicate that but I know where my battery life is around 5pm everyday and this just drains it faster. Finally it seems bulk on my Iphone Pro Max with the wallet so it sticks out in my pocket at ton. I wish they had a magsafe passthru so I could still charge the phone. Also would be nice for other colors.
