I brought one a year and a half ago. Works great. No problems at all. Bluetooth works great. Sounds very loud. The price was nice. You should buy one right now

It's a good device, easy to install and looks great on the eyes. The only complaint I have is the time it takes to start up and some times frozen the screen.

Bought it because this is backup camera ready, will be buying the camera soon. This unit sounds great with the stock speakers and the equalizer is an added touch. video is very clear and so far all functions work really good. Set up has been very easy so far. Install was done by Josh at the Park city store and I had an A/V cable attached to the extra A/V connection, dont know what for but it is available. Old H3 sounds much better now.

This is a great product for the price I got it for . Does lag but not a issue to me.

Clean look, DVD is bright, built in amp drives stock speakers loud. Extra functions like back up camera input is cool. 3 preouts for amp upgrades. I have not used software thru phone. only BT hands free calls mic is good.

I like the stereo,now i can play my music from my iPhone,and be on the phone with the hands free,excellent service and professional installation.

Great radio for the price. Does as expected. Owned it for a couple of months now with no issues.

Overall I'm satisfied with it. Wish it had better interface with iPhones. Jvc really needs to add more apps to their app program on this system. It does look good and sound good.

Nice, responsive touch screen, the bluetooth works well and transfers all info from iPhone to the screen; artist, song title, etc. Even FM broadcasts display name of artist and song on the screen. Nice features and sound quality. Included mic works well for hands free calls as well as speech to text. I'll most-likely get one for my wife's vehicle as well.

The JVC car stereo that was purchased was an excellent choice. Increased power and sound quality over the factory stereo system. We had this unit installed. I would recommend using their install technicians, they do excellent work.

We have been looking to replace the stock CD Player in the 2005 Toyota Camry that our daughter will be driving. As a new driver we wanted Bluetooth for her phone and a back-up camera. We thought we would be spending over $500 to get the features we wanted. I heard good things about JVC and the fact that Kenwood owns them now, made the decision to purchase this featured packed entry level In-Dash CD/DVD/DM Receiver an easy one. The JVC KW-V230BT that we purchased has everything we were looking for and even came with Sirius/XM radio tuner. The receiver plays CDs & DVDs, radio pulls everything station we listen to, including channels from San Francisco, tons of customization in sound effects and EQ settings. There is NO AUX Port, but with being able to use the front USB port for a USB Drive or iPod, or stream from the phone, we pretty much can play anything we want with out it. The only other features that would have been nice would have been built in Navigation and Apple Car Play, but did not feel the extra $200 to $300 for these features would be worth in. Marcus Meyer with Geek Squad Autotech at Santana Row did a fantastic installation of the deck and the back up camera. If you live the San Jose, CA area, Marcus is definitely the person you want to install anything you want on your car.

Great Stereo for the price with lots of features found on much more expensive units. Sounds great in my pick up.

I installed this unit in my Ford Excursion several months ago. Overall, I am pleased. For the price, it's hard to go wrong. I hooked a backup camera to the receiver and it works great. I often use a USB thumb drive to play MP3s. I have used the USB to hook up my iPhone, and it plays whatever I'm listening to. No video from the iPhone is displayed though. Bluetooth phone calls work well. I would recommend getting to know the various settings, especially the ones that deal with sound. My biggest complaint about this product is that the volume goes way up after a phone call. So, for example, let's say that I'm listening to music from a thumb drive and the volume level is set to "5". Then a call comes in over Bluetooth and the volume goes up to "14" (which is fine during the call). When the call is over and my music starts playing again, the receiver plays it at "14" instead of "5" -- which can be quite startling! And as other people have noted, the screen is not bright enough on very bright days. I suppose that is an issue with all units like this. Overall, I'm happy.

I was getting tired of listening to the local radio stations, the only option my 2007 truck had, no auxiliary hook up. I figured if I was going to switch, I might as well get something to cover my other needs. This unit allows me to stream my Spotify playlists or other music choice apps. The touch screen display is responsive and large enough to hit the right app without spending too much time to be distracted. I also added a rear camera which comes on quickly and gives me a wide angle to view in reverse and see my hitch ball. I have not used the front USB port yet but I'm sure it will come in handy for some road trips that I plan on having talking books keep me going. I think the unit has the power to push better speakers than the stock stuff I have, saving for another day. So far, I like the fact that I saved some real cash over other more expensive units. My Android smartphone is a 5yr old but seems to operate the Bluetooth fairly smooth.

For being my 1st touchscreen deck it's decent. Next one has to have navigation

I found one marked open box and got it under 190.00. Installed myself and the unit is ok. The firmware update is a pain and the android apps needed to sync can be a pain. The tuner is worse than my OE unit and I didn't think that was possible. For me it was a huge upgrade from my stock unit so I'm satisfied with it.

I love this unit , clear screen when using backup camera with plenty of station inputs ,sound is great and awesome Bluetooth connect,my only gripe is Dvds no picture only sound so I need to go back and see y , otherwise I would of given 5 stars.
