I bought these earbuds to use with an old cassette walkman I have that has an AM/FM radio. My main purpose was to use the earbuds for listening to talk shows on AM radio--or maybe even playing an old cassette-- while I working around the house or in the yard, hence the reason for using the walkman since newer portable devices don't seem to have AM radios on them. I needed earbuds that would work with the old technology and stay in my ear while moving around. FYI, earbuds with a three ring connector--like those with an in-line remote--won't work in older devices like walkmans and discmans. So I needed earbuds with a two ring connector. Based on my usage needs, I didn't need or want to spend a whole lot of money. I saw these JVC earbuds in the checkout line at BB for 12.99, and they were exactly what I was looking for--inexpensive sports earbuds and compatible with older technology (as well as new). They worked and sounded better than I expected with my old walkman, utilizing the AM/FM radio--and even made some old cassettes I have sound better than they ever had before. I decided to try them out in my MP3 player and found that these earbuds sound darn near as good as my much more expensive earbuds I usually use with that device. They are also really comfortable. If you're looking for inexpensive, non-remote control, comfortable sports headphones that sound great, than these will more than definitely fit your needs. As with any earbuds, be sure to use the correct silicon tip for your ear canal size, otherwise you'll lose a lot of bass response.

These headphones are great. I tend to misplace my earphones. So, I usually have to purchase a new pair often. I'm not gentle on my earphones and these usually last. Also, they give off good sound. Lastly, my ears can't tolerate any type of ear buds because my ear canal is smaller than most people. As a result, the fit of these earphones work well and I'm pleased.

Purchased these for the single purpose of exercising. They are used primarily with an Apple iPod Touch 4G. I wear them at a noisy fitness center as well as while walking outdoors. So far, I am quite pleased with them. They are what I expected for the price. These headphones are very good at fitting over and into the ear. They stay put, and drown out a lot of noise around you (but not all). They do NOT cause my ears pain as ear buds do. The 3 different sizes of gel-type covers for the inner ear were a nice surprise (to me), and two of the sizes work - so it's like having an extra set of covers when needed. My only gripe is that for the songs with a lot of bass, even with the equalizer the sound does not get through. If you are wanting the best sound quality, these might NOT be for you.

I use these when I'm cycling. I did not want earbuds that pop out during my ride. They stay on securely and are very comfortable. The sound is clear though the bass reproduction is very low. I've set the equalizer on my phone to boost the bass and it works great for me!

These buds are a great value and work great at the gym. They dont fall off of your ears and seem to be fairly sweat proof. I ran them over with my car and squished them, they still work. However occasionally only 1 earphone works.

I keep these around for my kids. They usually break after a couple of months but for the price, I don't mind. Sound is good and they fit well in their ears.

I like the headphones because I have small ears and they don't fall off or out my ears. They also have quality sound for a small price.

These are a great set of head phones for working out and listening to music while at work. I love that they are purple and fit inside the ear. I tend to lose the rubber ear things and have a hard time replacing. It's easier to just buy a new pair since they are so cheap. They are very comfortable.

I hate the big bulky head phones but i cant seem to get the normal ear buds to stay in my ears for the life of me...so i tried these and they are so comfortable! and better yet they stay in my ear while im listening on the treadmill so i call it a win, sound is good too!

These headphones are an excellent choice for running/exercise for the price. I have used Bluetooth headphones for years and when they stopped working due to sweat, I opted to try the lower priced corded option. I have used these for several months in Florida humidity and they work very well on the hottest days. Perfect fit, at times I can barley feel them. I deal with the cord by running it under my shirt to my phone on my hip so it doesn't bounce around but the cord can easily be tucked in an armband. Not as good of sound quality as the better Bluetooth brands but good enough for me especially since when I am exercising, I'm not particularly focused on the sound quality. Just make sure you use the appropriate size earpiece the fits snugly to block out other sounds and it's close enough.

Sounded very tinny until I realized they were not fitted correctly. Take the time to determine what size inserts are correct for your ears. Not the most impressive sound but a decent buy for the money. They have served me well on flights and when I just need a break from the day to day noise of my work space. I would like a longer cord but I've had that complaint with ALL of my "ear bud" type speakers !

I took these to the gym two days after I bought them. They are very comfortable and stay where they are supposed to. They also sounded great until I started building up a sweat, at which point the bass cut out on the left channel. Since they were the only thing I had to listen with, I brought them to the next workout and the bass in the other channel cut out. Figuring it was a faulty set, and seeing as they were so affordable, I bought another pair of the same ear buds. The left channel lost bass on these as well. I don't really want to waste even the $20 for another set, but luckily the sound returned in my new pair. Get these if you need something to listen to at work or while travelling, but definitely not while doing anything active.

I have gone through a lot of earbuds, but these are some of the most comfortable. Plus, they hold onto my ear really well and never slip while I'm exercising. The sound quality is really nice. No complaints!
