    Great product. I was looking for a product to transfer VHS to DVD via computer and then use it to let my Dad view his "tapes" at his assisted living home. We also have a product that will show him new digital photos of the family on his TV.

    Have only had it about a month, but it seems to work as stated. If it lasts nearly as long as my last one, I will be happy. Have had a good experience with the refurbished products I have purchased in the past. Don't shy away from a product just because it says refurbished in the discription.

    Returned it that next Monday morning. The tape portion did not rewind. Shame, because otherwise it seemed fine.

    A refurbished unit...thought I would take a chance on saving a few bucks. The audio did not work out of the box, but with Best Buy's easy return options, I returned it to the store and exchanged for a new current model. The service desk personel were awesome and friendly! No problems there at all! One more drawback, the refurbished unit was not packed well for ground shipping.
