If you love movies and a have a dedicated space for the best movie watching experience, this is a must have. Although expensive, it is by far the best AV quality and convenience you can achieve.

This product delivers on what it says. It is expensive but works and works well. It doesn't do HDR 10+ or Dolby Vision but most projectors and TVs don't either. It does do everything else and looks great on projectors and TVs.

Love the ecosystem that Kaleidescape has built up. It’s super easy to use, the video quality is excellent, and the audio is out of this world. If you have a legit surround sound system coupled with an amazing projector or TV, this will amplify what you will already have. This unit is for displays/projectors only and you have to get a Terra/Compact Terra server to store movies on the system first. Best purchase to make my system truely shine!

I purchased the previous model Strato back in late 2017. After 5 years 10 months, the hard drive quit. KScape used to have remanufactured units that you could buy for a couple of thousand dollars but have since discontinued doing that. I spoke with Bob at Kaleidescape and he told me, “my unit is not repairable”. It can easily be repaired with a new hard drive and downloading their software on it. They simply don’t want to do it. They offered zero break on the price of a new unit. Now I have over a few thousand dollars worth of movies, I no longer have access to. If your’re cool with all of that, the system does deliver superior sound than a disk.
