Bought these powered speakers for my new Turntable. Because they are powered speakers you don’t need a receiver. Exactly what I wanted. The sound is great for the small size. The casing is approximately 9” tall, the 4” refers to the inside speaker. I think the sound is very good, maybe some people would like to add a bass speaker but I really don’t miss it, the sound is very balanced. Attractive design also.

If you have a small space, these are perfect because you don't need a receiver to hook them up to your turn table. They have amazing sound and look great!

Purchased these bad boys to use in conjunction with my turntable (not for DJing just home use). Work excellent with the Bluetooth feature as well. Beautiful crisp sound .

Stepping up from Audioengines A2 speakers, these are a welcome upgrade. They look beautifully on my wooden desk and the sound is amazing....plenty of connections!

I am using the Kanto yu-4's as desktop speakers and have them connected via digital optical cable directly to my computer and the sound quality is amazing. These speakers provide great highs and mids. If you really like bass in your music, movies or games I would recommend pairing these speakers with the Kanto sub-8 as it matches perfectly with the speakers and provides an amazing amount of bass. I also feel they are a great size for desktop speakers providing very powerful audio in a relatively compact form factor and since they do not require an external receiver/amp it adds to the compact nature of these speakers. I love how many inputs these speakers have as it provides more opportunities to use the speakers.
