Within Kaspersky you have the option to have various types of security from the very basic to fine tuned only this or that picks. Overall a great program that doesn't bog down your computer. The only minor issues I have had is that there is always downloads or updates. Which is great, means they are always improving. Just means you have to download more often is all. Which the program does alot of that itself without worry on your part.

I have used Kaspersky internet and virus protection products for the last 6 years at home and work. They are easy to use and set up. This product also has a screen shot protection program in it however, that part of this product doesn't work on my home desktop and will only work on computers that are set up to accept that program. Other than that it is perfect. It works great. One of the best computer protection devices out there.

THIRD PURCHASE OF PRODUCT. FIRST WAS FOR 1 YEAR LAST TWO WERE FOR TWO YEARS EACH. INSTALLATION ON THIS LAST ONE LEFT ME VERY UNEASY. PRODUCT WOULD NOT LOAD FROM DISC PROVIDED. IT TOOK TWO DIFFERENT GEEK SQUAD MEMBERS TWO DAYS TO INSTALL IT BY PHONE. THEN FOR SEVERAL WEEKS I WAS SENT MESSAGES TO INSTALL THE PRODUCT EVEN THOUGH IT SHOWED TO BE INSTALLED IN MY COMPUTER WITH THE DAYS COUNTING DOWN. VERDICT IS STILL OUT WITH MY UNEASYNESS!!!

I was hesitant to replace my current Norton product, which I've had for 7 years, with one I'd never heard of (Kaspersky). I had to trust the salesperson and ended up taking the free 6-month offer of Kaspersky that came with the purchase of my new computer. My experience with it is still fairly new, but it seems fine. It's straightforward, and I like the little icon that comes alive when I need an update. I've had no untoward security issues.

This my first time adding this security to any of my devices because I normally go with Norton's are McAfee is preloaded on the device for trail period of about 60 days or so. So far I haven't had any problems with the software. The only thing that I notice that could be a better fit for the software is to make sure that there is a lot of great features with the interface. I like to see cool designs when working with any software.

I bought the Kaspersky internet security for my wife's windows computer and for my Mac. I've been very happy with their products. Install it's very easy and the program is very simple to use. I like the fact that I could use it on three computers even though I only have two. I've used other programs but so far none have compared to the quality I get with this product I am very happy with it and will continue to buy it as I need it.

The interface is much more user-friendly than previous types. I'm not expecting the "take-over" that happens often, where the program wants me to type a password into its prompting box instead of the one I'm trying to access. Sounds confusing, right? It is. And then the place I'm trying to access denies me because I still haven't entered my password. However, the program works really well and has protected my computer diligently.

Kaspersky had worked well for us so far. Security is security, but we had had a few problems with MacAfee in the past and this has worked a little bit better. Some of the features will lag from time to time when updates go through on Firefox, but we haven't had real problems so far. I wouldn't know any of the real technical stuff when it comes to a product like this, but it seems to get the job done and has been simple to use.

Easy to install and I do like the security it offers along with the 3 user availability. I have not had the opportunity to use my laptop in a public network so I am not certain how the product reacts to potential infections and Malware. I will update my review once I am in that scenario and see how the software reacts. I have confidence that this will protect my computer much better than Norton which was useless on my other laptop.

Windows 10 registration issue.

Great virus scanner but this comes with other features that may seem excessive for some people. The program is working with windows 10, but there is an issue that is annoying to say the least.
Once you set up Kaspersky you will be prompted to register the program. For some reason once you register the program keeps notifying you to register, over and over. The fix requires a safe mode boot and an edit of the registry. I wrote to kaspersky customer service and got the fix right away so they are aware of the issue. Also I have to say that they get an A+ for prompt and knowledgeable customer service.
I have found that most of the internet security parts of this program are beyond what I need. For instance if you log onto PayPal (or any banking type web site), the program prompts you to a special secured page. That would be fine but its slow, and for what I do with PayPal its not necessary.
The virus scanner is great and seems to be doing its job as advertised. If you do lots of serious banking online and your money is not protected by your bank then this is the software to get, otherwise its excessive. I would recommend the virus scanner without the internet security stuff.

I replaced Avast with this program since it came free from Best Buy with Laptop I bought. I have a 3-PC home network with a Seagate Central 4TB NAS. Kaspersky essentially disconnected the backup drive by interfering Seagate's Management software and making it look like it wasn't on the network. With some work, I got my Windows 8.1 laptop working. I spent a day on the phone with Seagate TS and had a short call to Kaspersky TS. Seagate worked hard to make the drive function. Kaspersky's phone person spent time denying it was a problem. They did send an unhelpful email suggesting things to try and I got even more helpful emails after I emailed them and told them I'd removed the software from two PC's and replaced it with Avast. My backup is working like a charm. But, I've ended up cleaning the drive so I have no historical backups and got to waste 30+ hours. Fine software for a PC. Anything out of the ordinary and they are no help.

Caused a problem when trying to scan from printer to computer. Geek squad spent 3 1/2 hours trying to figure why. Discovered Kasperski was blocking printer from accessing computer. Once we uninstalled Kasperski had no problem. Reinstalled and same thing. Since it came as part of my purchase will keep it. Next year back to McAfee

This came with my Air purchase and decided to install it on a second Windows base PC. Right away on installation it found a piece of spyware that the free MS Security Essentials missed! Biggest issue with the program is that it can take longer for certain pages to load since I have installed it. Other than that happy that I went back to a pay version of this program and I will be buying the year when my 6 months is up.

I started using Kaspersky last year instead of Norton to see how it was for internet and email protection. I now have it installed on both my computers and I've had no problems with virus attacks. Norton did let me down one time and thank god I had a backup hard drive to get up and running again. So far I am pleased with Kaspersky.

I did not buy this product. It came free with my new Dell Inspiron laptop so I can't really complain. But I do prefer having Norton Antivirus because I feel like it's more reliable. I get too many notices with this product. I don't even know if it's installed right because I keep getting warning notices which seems odd. Shouldn't they send warning signs only when your computer has an actual threat?

Pro: I have used Kaspersky Internet Security for 5 years. I got started with an infected laptop protected by another major antivirus brand. Kaspersky was the only one of three brands I tried that could fix that problem Since using it, I have had no further recurrence.
Con: None, but I have moved up to Kaspersky Total to get the same online protection plus password control and secure banking, all in one package.

I got this product as part of my 3 year protection plan, I would not have purchased it otherwise. Installation and activation was simple and it seems to be protecting my computer. The Password manager that came with it is great because I suffer from CRS and have to look up passwords daily. The password manager did crash my computer on initial install but has not caused any problems that I can tell since.

first time using K. I installed online and would wish the instructions were geared to non-geeks more and senior citizen users. the prompt that had the full sign in also had the 30 day trial key. Of course I hit the trial button in error and had to get a seventh grader to sort it out for me. Maybe have two separate windows for the full install and another for the trial? I'm not sayin I'm just saying...

I received the Kaspersky software as a free item with my MacBook purchase. I had never used their software before, but I have been pleasantly surprised at the way they handle updates and scans. I have used Norton, Webroot, and McAfee in the past with no problems, but I think I now like Kaspersky best. It is simple looking and very clean. It doesn't slow my system in any way. I like that it also adds a safe Kaspersky keyboard when you're using the web browser if you want to be doubly sure that you are browsing safely. In addition, for sites where I enter credit card/purchasing and/or banking info, it brings up a new window in a safe banking mode to protect my info. I have now downloaded it on 2 computers and I believe it will now be my security protection of choice...

This security system has a problem with Chrome on some programs I use. A msg comes up that I have reached a possible phishing site and I can't clear it. I had to use old IE in order to get my government program to work properly. It's very sensitive and warns me about Groupon or Amazon when I try to read any offers. I suppose it's better than Norton but then I never had a problem with Norton.
