I purchased this machine for my husband who's been wanting one at home because he uses one at his office and loved it. This machine has exceeded our expectations. It makes the best cup/carafe of coffee. It's never bitter. It's fast, and not too loud. I wish I would have purchased a Keurig for him a long time ago.

Originally this was posted on Keurig's Facebook page on October 13, 2014. I received the machine as part of a review program through Influenster. "I'm a little frustrated with your website right now. In order to complete some promotional activities for the Influenster campaign I was supposed to leave a review. For weeks I've been going back and back to your website to try and leave a review for the K550 and there seems to be no way to do so. I've even logged into my Keurig account where the unit is registered in the belief that I'd be able to from there but nope. I noticed that the registration information for the K550 is incorrect. Your system says I have an OfficePro machine instead of the Keurig 2.0 K550. I even tried looking at other pages on your website for previous machines I've owned and there is no way for me to leave comments there either. So here goes - ‪#‎HelloKeurig‬ Why do you giveth and then taketh away? When I learned I was chosen for the Influenster campaign for the new Keurig 2.0 line I was ecstatic. My older Platinum machine was on the fritz and I needed to purchase a replacement. I did and still have it plus the new K550 I received from Influenster. I wish I could say I promptly returned the Keurig I purchased because the hundred plus bucks back in my pocket would have been nice. But I hesitate and here's why - Despite all the new features of the K550 like the larger reservoir, the K-Carafe, the touchscreen LED control, nightlight, programmable timers and strength selector I was left a bit unimpressed and disappointed. The nightlights won't work if the energy saving mode is on. The digital clock doesn't display when the unit is off. This is one step backwards. Then I discovered that My KCup was no longer compatible frown emoticon. Step back number two. Then even though I was used to using the normal K-cup cycle to run hot water for tea or hot chocolate that option was no longer available to me. Now I am required to press and hold the button to dispense a measly 6 oz. of water and sometimes that doesn't even come out all the way. At least 2 of the 3 times that cycle is run it is an ounce or 2 short. That wouldn't be such a huge issue if I didn't have to stand there through through 2 whole cycles to get the size cup I want when I never had to do that before. Step back number. The hot water cycle and the My KCup problem is in part to blame on the fact the Keurig now is preventing non-Keurig K-cups from being used in the machine. So any of my old tea or coffee K-cups are essentially garbage. If I were to give it a rating based on their 5 star scale I would have to give it a 2 out of 5 because even with the new features in functionality it went backwards instead of forward for me. I'll take functionality over fluff any day."

I bought this model for the added hot water feature and larger reservoir which made it worth the extra money for me. I haven't had much luck with longevity of my previous Keurig coffee makers (smaller models), and I had trouble brewing a cup with this one about two weeks in, but it resolved after unplugging and starting back up. It has worked great ever since (brewing 2-4 cups/day going on a month now.) There are other added features including various brew sizes (including full carafe) and easy to use display, but the bottom line is that it makes a good cup of coffee!

Oh Its so easy to use and I waited to get one becuz I wasn't sure if my husband would really like the "coffee". He is more of a plain straight nothing fancy kind of type of man with his coffee. But so far he likes but this past week, it got clogged up and I thought I was about to trash it:( the needles just got clogged up with the hot cocoa so be sure you run some hot water after each specialty drink other than that I love it:) oh and go ahead and make you a little "cheat ring" for the "Keurig brand only cups" it was pretty easy to make

I had the original k cup brewer for a number of years but I thought I would get an upgrade. I love this new brewer. It's very versatile with the touch screen display and the ability to make larger brews. The led display lights are good also and they create a really nice ambiance. The ability to have hot water on tap is also a good feature...it saves money too as I dont have to use my electric kettle anymore. I would thoroughly recommend this brewer.

I love this machine. It does allot! You can go directly to site to buy drink cups. Cold, hot drinks. SO many choices. They are always running promotions on the cups that u will get a good price. Each drink cost around .25-.60 cents so its well worth the money. A coffee from star bucks cost $6 sooo you cant loose if you buy this machine. You will love it I swear. Some people are upset that you can only use keurig cups but when u compare price and all of cups its really not that bad. They have allot choices. I love the strawberry pomegranate cold tea drinks. Even some of the coffees are good. I dont even drink coffee really and i like some of there choices. Like 5 family members have this exact one and they love it. Buy it or dont it doesnt matter to me. I love it and my whole family loves it. Im normally hard to please and im very pleased here. Well worth the money if you ask me.

I never owned a Keurig, first time. I llke strong coffee. I was surprised how good this machine is. Lots of features and different coffees to choose from. Depending on the brand you choose you can get what you prefer in your coffee and tea.

I am not the average coffee drinker. However, I love great deals and new appliances. It looks great in my kitchen and my kids can enjoy plenty of hot chocolate/cocoa on cold mornings. I have read many reviews on both Keurig and Best Buy websites and everyone seems to have different views on why they purchased this product. First of all, you can't please everyone. Second, if you have negative views return the item and move on. I have a 4 cup coffee maker but chose this item because I have been researching it for a while. Although, I don't drink coffee on a regular basis, I don't regret purchasing this item. I work an on-call schedule, so this works for me in the morning, evening, or late at night. I enjoy the many features it comes with as well as the variety choices of beverages you can purchase. I do feel some of the flavored coffee could be a little stronger. As far as product rating, I would give a 5 but there's always room for improvements. Keurig, keep up the good work. "Thanks Keurig, for the free pods for this review."

Very easy and so far very reliable to use. Some really cool features. This is a lot better than the other Keurig we had. Highly recommend to anyone who likes their Coffee!

Love this model I have no problem makes coffee within seconds. You can make a cup or use carafe that makes a pot of coffee. Touch screen is nice and has led lighting.

I was hesitant on getting a kuerig, but I love the flexibility of brewing a whole pot or individual cup. Quick brew speed, easy to usw. So far just great.

I gave it 4 stars because, you can not put a filter in it to brew your own grounds, I have 2 lbs of beans, that are pretty much useless now. The good thing is you can set the timer And, brew a carafe, which is great if you're in a hurry in the morning and have more than one person drinking it. I recommend purchasing the stainless carafe, it will keep the coffee hot, unlike the cheap plastic one that comes with the brewer.

I didn't have any old K-Cups, nor did I ever use the custom cup to use your own coffee, so the fact that only new cups will work is fine with me. I love how much faster the 2.0 is, more brewing sizing, easy hot water button and the extra water capacity. It's also great to brew a carafe and pour multiple cups, although I bought the upgraded one because the one that comes with the machine doesn't keep the coffee hot for very long. Fantastic machine!

Before buying, I read some reviews from users who had problems with some K-Cups not fitting properly but so far all the ones I've bought(carefully checking to see if they fit 2.0) worked just fine. The coffee/tea and everything works brilliant, it isn't hard to refill the water either. One problem - The hot water dispensing feature doesn't work as well as I hoped, I got the K550 instead of K450 for the hot water but it seems to be more of a cleaning feature than useful one. When I dispense hot water, it sometimes has faint coffee color or some coffee residue on it. Using it for coffee/tea I have found no problems though and use it everyday.

IT DOES WHAT IT PROCLAIMS TO BE. QUICK AND EASY TO PUT TOGETHER; JUST BEFORE FIRST USE, MAKE SURE TO REMOVE THE PLASTIC PROTECTOR INSIDE THE COMPARTMENT FOR THE COFFEE CONTAINER. THAT'S THE ONE THAT PUNCH THE LITTLE CONTAINER, SOMETHING THAT IS FORGOTTEN TO MENTION IN THE INSTRUCTIONS.

Works great and and my wife likes it. It appears that now I have to run up to 50 words. I'd like to really thank Best Buy for me having this product, but, Best Buy did not make it. (12 more) Now, I will give Best Buy credit for the following: Very good service within the store and knowledgeable sales personal. Exceeded 50 by an additional 14.

I was not sold on the idea of this, and the price was something that turned me off. But, my husband wanted one and he usually gets what he wants. In this case I'm so glad he did! I love specialty/flavored coffee and my husband prefers a regular cup of Joe. We both work so we usually only get 1 cup in the morning anyway. Now we both get what we like every morning. So if you can swing the price go for it!

Love that this model can brew an entire carafe as well as individual cups. Putting the filter in the plastic holster was extremely difficult (could not get it open). Filter isn't even necessary if you are using bottled water. Overall, pleased with the product.

Brews many different types of drinks. Love the apple cider and earl grey tea. Coffee is great too but I love the versatility. Easy to use. Cost is the only problem. Feel it is overpriced overall but the product itself is great.

This is my second purchase of the exact same coffee maker (needed a second for a second house). Both of them work flawlessly. Easy touch screen is user friendly. Perfect coffee every time. Even when the old k-cups didn't work with machine, their to help center sent me free k-cups to replace my old ones. Great product - great company.
