This keyboard has got to be the smoothest, most feature packed keyboard I've ever bought. Just to name a few of my favorite things: - the customization options are endless - the accessories included cover everything I need - the ability to use wired, wireless (with dongle), and bluetooth means I can use this with my work laptop (PC), personal macbook, and personal desktop seamlessly! I have a feeling this keyboard will outlast any other peripheral I have.

I’ll be honest- I’m only a recreational gamer at best. But I do work a desk job in the tech-retail industry, so a keyboard upgrade of this magnitude has been a long time coming. The Keychron Q6 Max is hands-down one of the best keyboards I’ve ever used. The build quality is fantastic – it’s hefty, solid, and feels incredibly premium. The customizable RGB lighting and multiple connection modes are robust, interactive and easy to adopt. Most of all, it’s the actual use of this keyboard - the typing - that really matters most. Now I understand the hype - the Gateron Brown switches are tactile but quiet enough for an open office. The keys have a satisfying depth, and there’s no wobble, which just adds to the quality feel. The keycaps are high-quality, too, and easy on the fingers, making it impossible to go back to standard generic keyboards. An overall outstanding user experience. Kudos, Keychron!

What else can i say. If you want a good keyboard to build out and customize this is a great base to start off with. Hot swappable keys make key customization a breeze, nice keycaps out the box multiple connection options. Decent switches but thats why its hotswappabke so you can swap them out with ease.

Coming from a Razer Hunstman Elite, this keyboard is just worlds better. Sound is very satisfying, the profile on the keys is great. The dial is much higher quality.

When it comes to keyboards, a lot of personal preferences will dictate a users own response and feel, so take this review with a grain of salt. The keyboard, while has that definitive feel of a custom built keyboard with tactile switches, it unfortunately does not feel the same exact way. The keycaps, while being Double-Shot PBT which is appreciated, have a little dip in the middle to feel more comfortable. This part is definitely appreciated and makes it feel nicer to type with. Unfortunately, the keyboard does not feel comparable to other keyboards like the Drop's CSTM80, Steelseries Apex Pro w/ or w/out TKL, or even the Corsair K70 Core or Pro's. If you want a good customizable keyboard that is usable between PC, Mac and maybe even a laptop then yeah this is a good keyboard.

I’ve been using the Keychron Q6 Max for a few weeks now, and I’m seriously impressed. One of the best features is the hot-swappable switches. I swapped out the stock brown switches for Gateron Baby Kangaroo 2.0 switches, and I’m absolutely loving them. The Baby Kangaroo switches have a more pronounced tactile bump, which makes the typing experience super satisfying. The sound is somewhere between poppy and thocky, striking a perfect balance. I’m really happy with how they feel and sound. The south-facing RGB lighting is another great feature. It’s super compatible with most keycap types, though if you’re into shine-through keycaps, you’ll need to find specific south-facing RGB ones. Not a big deal, just something to keep in mind. The gasket-mounted design is a nice touch as well—it gives the keyboard a comfy, slightly bouncy feel, which is awesome for long typing sessions. The KSA profile keycaps included are really comfortable too, which I appreciate since I spend a lot of time typing. Build quality is top-notch with the all-metal case construction. It feels super solid and premium. And the Keychron launcher (launcher.keychron.com) is a huge plus—it lets you easily rebind keys and set up macros without any extra software. You can use it on both Windows and macOS, and it works wired, via Bluetooth, or over 2.4GHz wireless. Plus, the 1000Hz polling rate (when used wired or over 2.4GHz) makes the whole experience feel smooth and responsive. The typing experience is fantastic, especially with the new switches. The sound profile is spot on, and if you’re into modding, you could even improve it further with a tape mod or force break mod. The battery life is impressive too—it lasts for ages, even with RGB lighting on. It also comes with handy accessories like a keycap and switch puller, a quality USB-C to USB-C cable (with a USB-C to A adapter), and extra keycaps for Windows users. There are a couple of downsides, though. It’s pretty heavy—over 4 lbs—so if you’re looking for something more portable, this might not be the best option. Also, I’ve had some occasional hiccups with the 2.4GHz connection, but it hasn’t been a major issue for me. Overall, if you’re looking for a customizable mechanical keyboard that feels amazing to type on and sounds fantastic, the Keychron Q6 Max is definitely worth checking out. The Gateron Baby Kangaroo 2.0 switches really elevate the experience, and this keyboard has easily become my go-to.

This is fantastic, blows away "gaming" keyboards! The keys feel really nice, and the sound is nice and quiet, but has a nice solid sound. Hard to explain. You do not need any crazy intrusive software managers like Corsair ICUE or other brands equivalent. Instead, you can use tools right in the web browser to reprogram keys, adjust lighting, etc. I've used Corsair, and Steel Series for years. Their quality is good, but this absolutely blows them out of the water. I have slowly moved away from gaming brands as I'm finding these alternatives to be higher quality and just overall better.

The keyboard is heavy but in a good way. The keycaps are a bit tall but overall the board feels good to type on. The sound is a bit hollow on the space bar for my liking. Keykron’s web based app works great to customize the layout, settings, and functions of the whole board. The multiple connection options are appreciated but this lives on my desk and wired.

It's a pretty heavy keyboard but has so many options. Hot separable keys and all connectivity options makes this a solution for everyone unless you can't pick up 5 pounds then you might need something else.

The build quality is apparent the moment you pick it up. The caseing is metal and high quality. The keys feel great, give the feel of a high quality mechanical key but significantly quieter than any I have owned before. The web based gui is great and easy to use.

It is a joy to type on this keyboard. I need a wrist rest to comfortably type on this. You need to connext to website to change the rgb lighting and change other settings, no software installation on your c9mputer is required. I am loving this keyboard.

The best keyboard I've ever used. Heavy duty and I mean heavy. The thing is built like a tank and types like a breeze. Has been amazing using it 8 hours a day 5 days a week non stop. Haven't had any issues so far.

It feels sturdy and very well made. The switch sound is great, and being able to program it without installing any software is awesome. The downsides are the keycap profile is a bit narrow compared to standard MX caps, so the keys feel tall. It takes a day to get used to, so I’m not marking that as a negative. Mine was double pressing the space bar on occasion, but that was resolved with a heavier switch I had lying around. Plus the space bar is now extra clicky.

I love this keyboard. Right out of the box it sounds great and having the option to go between wired and wireless is exactly what I needed. As I’ve seen in some other reviews, I have had no problem with the wireless disconnecting or not connecting after going to sleep.

The typing action is so satisfying. Overall the keyboard is very heavy (my wife made a joke about slipping the gym after moving it) which I like. It feels built very well and wont slide around on your desk if you bump it.
