burned on me after 10 days

My old 2009 L5 10" sounded much better and louder. Bought this one to replace my L5 due to tensil lead failure. I think the quality in kicker products have gone down, I dont see how easily this subwoofer burned on me... and I was pushing it with an old school zx750.1 amp. I have attached pictures of my old L5 and L7 q-class..
