Amazing speaker hurry up and buy

I have this speaker in a box with a passive radiator and am getting much deep excellent Bass and sound.

They have a break in period to get the best sound quality but after about a week they sound as good as my 12w6 in the same box. Highly recommend these. I will say I tried the lower version of the round kicker subs and none of them sound nearly as good as these. Worth every penny and they rock my tesla.

The Alpine Type R 12s sound much better

Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have had the Solo Baric L7 10s, the L7 Q 10s, and the Alpine Type R 12s all powered by a Rockford T-1500 amp. Of the three, I appreciated the Alpines most as they sounded great. I was advised by Crutchfield that the Comp Q 12s would sound even better so I ordered them with high expectations. I had them professionally installed and tuned but to be honest, I was highly disappointed. The Comp Q 12s sound little better than the L7 Q 10s. They sound decent but pale in comparison to the Type Rs. The bass does not hit as hard as the Alpines nor is the SQ comparable. If you are looking for decent sounding subs, then the the Comp Qs will work. But if you’re looking for subs that will hit really hard and sound great at low and high volumes, then go with the Type Rs. They sound better and they cost less.
