Great sounding speakers for the money. These were installed in a 1987 Buick Grand National. Absolutely no modifications necessary. It is a fairly shallow mount speaker that works great for doors or tighter locations. Overall sound performs better than expected for a speaker at this price point. I would definitely recommend these budget friendly all around good quality speakers.

These speakers are fantastic! I jus talked these on my golf cart and I am just running these off of my pioneer head unit and they are very clear and loud. The two speaker pods that I have them in make the bass sound really good! Defiantly a fantastic buy!!

I absolutely love these speakers! I had them installed in my Jeep and they are awesome. They look good, sound quality is excellent, and I’ve had zero problems with them.

Replaced blown factory door speakers in 2000 volvo v40, screws lined up, had to press out old factory speakers to make room in door pocket for minimally invasive affect. Could have went with better ohms.

Excellent sound, easy to install for the most part. The hardest part is more so with the actually vehicle, but once you're in, the install is seamless, straight forward. Worked perfectly in my 2002 Chevy Silverado 1500 LS Extended Cab (making sure to specify my make/model to help you decide if this is right for you). I took a chance, and they worked perfectly. You'll be hard pressed to find good speakers at <$70. I matched these with a pair of Kicker CS series 6.25" speakers for my front door panels, and now I look for any excuse to go on a drive. Volume without an amp is great too, at >25 with a JVC head unit and the windows up, I don't hear the LS that's under the hood at low RPMS. The combined experience with the 6.25" is loud enough for a cruise with the windows down, too! If you're looking for a cheap setup that'll at most cost you $300-350 depending on what head unit you buy, don't overlook Kicker because of price (cheap typically means quality is iffy but not this time around). And if this was a setup you were looking to replicate yourself, well here is confirmation that it works! Though, to get the 6.25" in you will 100% need the Metra adapters, otherwise nothing is securing the speaker in place.
Hope this review helps you! Total install time for the whole setup referenced above took me about 3-5hrs, a first time home install. Spent most of that time getting the door panels off, next to wiring the head unit harness. Saved myself the trip to a custom sound shop, and more importantly the money.

Just put these in a 72 Chevy truck to replace where the previous owner put some 5.25 speakers in the kick panels. These replaced some 30+ year old Clarion speakers that were decent for their age. Couldn’t get good sound at freeway speeds... now I get them clear as day. These are good mid-priced speakers. Wired directly to an older Kenwood unit 40x4, no amp. These are the only 2 speakers in my truck right now. Not bad sound at all.
Treble: 8 out of 10 stars... clear sound
Mid: 9 out of 10... very good
Bass: 9 of 10... you don’t get much bass out of a 5.25 2-way, but I’m rating these based on the LACK OF DISTORTION you get when bass frequencies come through at louder volumes, like you do in a lot of speakers.
These speakers have a pretty good crossover. If you’re getting these to add to a system, these would be good to save you some money from some premiums that sound a hair better. Hopefully these last for a good while.

Easy to mount inside my work truck and sound quality is far better than the stock speakers. Although I have yet to connect them to a higher capacity amp the 22w radio in conjunction sound pretty great!!!!
Ohhh and they fit perfectly into the stock space. Didn’t need to cut out or sit on a speaker mount.

Found an open box deal and purchased them they would not fit either of my trucks but they worked in my wifes jeep sound way better than the pioneer ones that are still great but man bass thumps awsome and in the door sound like surround sound subs and tremble sounds great to

Installed these on my 1989 bmw and it produces decent sound without the use of an external amplifier. Its slimmer than some other speakers so it fits nicely behind the kick panel

Very good replacement speakers for your car if you’re just looking to replace some old ones or if you’re looking for an upgrade to speakers currently in your vehicle. Very good bass and treble as well as clear vocals.

I put a pair of these in my C3 corvette. Great sound/quality overall. They made me want to install some kickers in my 2015 WRX. My only advice would be to run bass through a sub/amp. These types of speakers are better suited for mids/highs, but can still do decent with bass. I mainly focused on getting speakers for the dash for mids/highs since I have a subwoofer already, and these exceed my expectations as far as clarity goes.
