We initially rented this from Blockbuster to make sure our girls (4 and 5) would enjoy this game and be able to play it before we purchased it.
It has been non-stop fun for the entire family since we rented it.
Its a priceless feeling watching your children's faces light up with excitement and anticipation when they see their favorite Disney Characters. Our 4yr old has been in Heaven just exploring the park and talking and hugging the characters.
The only thing better would be the real thing.
Game Play is fun and challenging for all levels. basically your goal is to complete various tasks that the characters ask you to help with. Such as Cinderella asks you to help her find needle and thread to make a dress or Brier Fox asks you to take pictures of Brier Rabbits footprints . So its like a big scavenger hunt all over the park.
When you goto each section of the park there are also some more activities and games you can play which are fun and keeps you active.
You can fly with Tinkerbell around the London Night Sky, fight Capt Hook. help Tigger collect honey pots for Pooh etc...
All can be quite tiring bc you are moving, jumping, grabbing, throwing etc...some of the games can take awhile to complete as well bc there are multiple levels.
Our whole family switched on and off with our girls and we all had a blast either playing or watching each other play and we would all participate and help each other out. Great family activity.
the only downsides is when you have 2 players, some of the action sequences when gaming become pixelated.
So if you are really picky about graphics then this may annoy you, but if you are just looking for a fun activity and focusing on having some fun with your family, it isnt a big deal.
The other downside is, to move around the park you point your arm in different directions to guide your character. its fairly accurate, but its exhausting to hold your arm out for what seems like forever sometimes just to move around the park.
When you are holding something like a magic wand or camera in one hand, you have to navigate with the other.
But as far as just overall great family fun game play. Kinect Disneyland experience is a family must.
especially while on sale for $35.

Bought this for my 7yr old and she LOVES! it. Looks just like the park (without the lines) It is easy for her to play on her own, her favorite is the snowball fight in the Matterhorn. The graphics in Space Mountain are great, even better than some movies. I would recommend this for any child. Only down I can think of is that you are limited in the avatar profile, but my child doesn't seem to mind.

This is a great game for both kids and adults alike. The games and navigation are intuitve and easy enough for young kids to pick up and still visualy stunning and entertaining enough to keep adults entertained. My 3 year old loves playing it with me. We have danced with the princesses more times than I can count and now she wants to know when we can go see Minnie Mouse.
Just running around the park checking it out is fun but when you want to get down to buisness and play some games you can skip from place to place using the map. I'm very glad we got this game and would recomend it to anyone with kids.

Must Have For Disneyland Fans

This game captures the true park experience including all of the details. Pin trading, shopping the stores, riding the rides, getting autographs and pictures with the characters, interacting with park staff, even the statues and hidden mickeys are there. It is laid out exactly like the park. There are many more things that you can visit then I thought the game would include. All of the major rides have mini games within each ride that require you to duck, jump, throw items, and use your body to move through the ride. Most start out with an interactive version of the ride and then completing different events within the ride theme, like snowball fights with Yeti's that have captured goofy. The story line keeps you busy going throughout the park helping characters find items that they have lost or taking pictures for surprise autograph books. You can earn Pins for completing the rides successfully and find money to buy items in the disneyland shops. This is easy enough for my 4 year old to play and challenging enough to keep my 9 and 11 year old busy. After the kids go to bed my wife and I also play for long periods of time. It is fun to sit around as a family and take turns playing the game. It also takes pictures of you when you are performing the dances or jumping through the rides and shows them to you after the event, it is hilarious. It also has voice command capabilities to fly around the park. The begining is a little slow as it shows you how to navigate around the park, but overall a must have for disneyland fans. It will definately help you get your disney fix between trips to the park.

Our family is such a Disney family we purchase annual passes. My 25 yr old daughter received this for Christmas. The graphics are wonderful. The characters are amazing and the game is so much fun. The beginning is a bit boring, I have to say. But once you get passed that the game is fun. We all wanted to buy a Churro from the stand too!

We love Disney! The game can be a little glitchy with navigation and picking up on moves but not enough to really deter from the fun you can have while playing! There are missions you can follow or you can just go on your own exploring the park. I think it's a great addition to the Kinect line-up and definitely a must-have for younger Disney fans and their families!

This is a blast for both kids/parents who have been to disneyland or are planning to. The graphics are realistic and rendering of the park is very good. If you are planning to go to disneyland anytime soon and have a kinect, this is a must as you can beging your disney experience months before you do in real and that would also prepapre you to attack your favourite areas of the park.

I guess the game would be better if you didn't have to hold up arms the whole time just to move your player.
