After much hand wring retiring our commercial fridge we opted for this Kitchenaide. Side by side model with the totally unnecessary ice maker and water fountain. Not as roomy but boy when you open the door the led lights simply dazzle. Like looking into the Pesrly Gates. Too early to judge. But it’s quiet and very bright.

LED lighting is amazing. The storage is surprisingly large. The vegetable pull out drawers are a bit on the smaller side. All the shelves and side shelves are adjustable. Plus you have the flexibility of having 4 to 5 shelves. The ice maker and water spout part of the fridge is large enough for large glasses. Water dispenser has a auto mated ounce calculator. The water pressure that comes out of the water dispenser is strong and powerful. You do not have to wait a long time to fill a glass of water. We are a family of four.

It has not beeb installed. Waiting for kitchen construction to be completed.

I’m in love with this fridge. It’s beautiful and matches all my kitchen aid appliances. It’s definitely worth the purchase!

We really wanted to like this refrigerator, but we have had nothing but issues. We have had the same part (thermastor) replaced 3 times. Twice under warranty and once we paid $300 to have it fixed. Neither Best Buy or Kitchenaid believe this refrigerator is a lemon even though the same part has been fixed 3 times in less than 2 years. Very disappointing. We also have water stains down the front of the frig from water running out of the water and ice dispensing area. I would not recommend this refrigerator to anyone.

All the units that I received had issues half of them with the same thing will never buy anything at that particular Best buy store

Horrible experience with Best buy outlet. Refrigerator isn’t working properly. Doors don’t close, installation was bad , doors uneven.

Doors don’t align. Thin panels. Drawer can’t get pulled out without making sure the door is really 180 deg

We got our fridge at a steal price (almost 50% off!) as it was an open box item, plus it was so hard to find a counter depth fridge. I don't know if I would have paid full price for it, but I do love it and the inside is so beautiful. You notice the difference once you open the doors and see the lighting, shelving, and overall materials used. As far as functionality goes, it has been running for about 3 months and the only thing we hear is ice maker going off once in a while, but that doesn't bother us. It's an ice maker for goodness sake! The shelving is a little tricky as you need to make sure it's placed correctly or else door may not shut properly, but we figured that out quickly thank goodness. We had thought there was something wrong with door and it turned out it was just some food sticking out slightly. I notice the food is always perfect temperature as our old fridge wasn't as cold as this one....what a difference! Freezer works amazing and overall I love the fridge. We decided to get the dishwasher and it truly makes the kitchen come together!

This fridge is so GREAT!! I was slightly worried about this fridge just because some of the reviews vs the samsung and LG fridges, but not anymore! This is 1000x nicer finish than I expected. The LED lights inside are amazing, the water dispenser and ice maker are great. I saw some complaints that the ice maker was loud, but this is only if its completely empty. I also saw some complaints that its loud, false, its whisper quiet, can't even hear it. The fridge handles are knuled stainless steel unlike the plastic handles of all the competitor fridges I looked at.

Purchased fridge in April, 2019. (It says purchased 11/2018, that's when it was paid for, but it was delivered new in April for a new construction house) In June noticed the fridge side wasn't cold. Find that there is significant frost buildup covering everything. Whirlpool sends a service technician. Technician removes frost and tells us to make sure to keep the door closed... Frost builds up again in a few weeks, technician comes out again and makes sure the door seals are tight. Frost builds up again in a few weeks, technician comes out again and decides to order a part. Part comes in, technician comes back to install. Frost builds up again in a few weeks, technician comes out again and decides to order another part. Part comes in, technician comes back to install. Next day the fridge side stops working completely. Technician comes back out a week later, "secures a loose connection" and leaves. Fridge goes warm again. Technician came back yesterday. Onsite tech recommended the fridge be replaced. Whirlpool support told him he has to replace more parts. Technician told me he's not supposed to say this, but that he doesn't think replacing the part would solve anything. I asked Whirlpool about replacing the refrigerator, since clearly it's incapable of being repaired by mere mortals. They told me they "don't really do that". Thanks, Whirlpool! So much fun to not have a working refrigerator and have to put life on hold once a month to schedule a repair visit with someone who clearly doesn't know what they're doing. Way to stand by your products.

This is a great looking fridge with a nice “matte” Stainless Steel look. The inside though is nothing particularly special with no unique features, such as a special drawer with a temperature that you can modulate, but I knew that when I purchased it. The ice maker is great - with a large removable ‘bucket’ if you need quick access to it. The temperature read outs on the door only tell you what the temperature is set at... but not what the actual temperature is inside the fridge and freezer. But all of this is manageable, if it remains reliable. But within around 1.5 years of ownership, liquid started forming under the bottom drawer in a reddish brown color, which I later found out is rust forming and dripping down. Every so often, I have to wipe it up as it pools under the bottom drawer, but it has now resulted in permanent staining (see images). The ‘stainless steel’ accents on the drawers are also very poorly done - I just used disinfecting wipes and it took the alumiminum finish right off. Then after 3 years.. it just quit. No more cooling. My old GE Profile is still running in the basement after nearly 10 years. To the credit of the GE customer support team, they got someone out to me within 24-hours and identified the compressor as bad and needing replacing, which they would have parts for in another 3 business days. However, the permanent staining on the inside from rust is something I just ‘have to live with’. It makes the fridge look dirty and gross - not a place I want to put food into!

I absolutely love this fridge from the outside to the inside it’s so pretty and streamlined and the inside is so big. We had the French door before this one is so much better

After much searching, both online and in stores, we decided on the KitchenAid 22.7 cu ft side by side. The refrigerator portion has more space than our previous side by side and has amazing lighting. The freezer works great! The ice maker is no louder than our previous refrigerator. All in all we have been happy with our purchase.

When picking out new appliances for our brand new home, we not only wanted something that had quality that matched up with the name, but a product that gave us a matching look that appealed to the eye of our room setup and entertaining. From the fridge, stove, dishwasher, all the way to the microwave, these KitchenAid products deliver on every aspect of what was expected. Effective, sharp looking, super quiet, and priced well for quality.

We have had it for 2 years now. First, the freezer lights went out. Then the ice maker stopped working. Technician came out and discovered that every time you open and close the door, it pinches the wires. We have only had this for 2 years and it's already breaking. Of course, Whirlpool (parent company of KitchenAid) won't do anything because they only offer a 1 year warranty.

We had a French door bottom mount freezer/fridge previously! We were so excited to get our new refrigerator! We love the extra room we have for the freezer. I can finally grocery shop and not have to worry if all my frozen food will fit. The ice maker provides square cubes. I do wish the ice/ water feature would allow to fill a pitcher. The lights are super bright in the fridge and makes it easy to see what is all in the fridge!

This fridge is perfect for my home. I love the size and the definitely the extra freezer room. I was going for a french door, but when I saw this newly design side by side, I had to have it. Everything stays fresh and super cold. Also you can hardly hear it running.

Loved this fridge when we found it and had it in our home. Within the first couple of weeks, a leak developed with the water dispenser. No big deal, covered under warranty. Then the light for the ice & water dispenser wouldn't always turn off. No big deal, it's covered under warranty. We recently replaced the water filter and now we have no water and no ice. We now have to call for a 3rd repair to have the water filter housing replaced. Are you kidding me? Three separate repair calls in less than 10 months. Oh, and the warranty service that Kitchenaid provides is always two trips. One to look at it, and then a week later they'll come back because "They don't have the part in stock so we'll have to order it." Spend your money on something other than Kitchenaid/Whirlpool. Such a mistake...

Refrigerator is very well lit. And very Quiet. Love the auto water fill feature!
