When I first purchased my stand mixer I wondered how often I would use it and whether it was worth the cost. Well--it has only been a month but I use my mixer at least twice a week. For instance, I have used it to make meatballs, mashed potatoes, shredded chicken, cinnamon rolls and icing to go with it, and several different types of cookies. I can say that my cookies have never come out better but the bowl does have to be scraped several times during the mixing process. I also recommend buying a secondary non-glass bowl (I brought a ceramic one) because the glass bowl tends to jump when it is not aligned properly or while the machine is trying to knead dough. Oh and the dough likes to creep up the dough hook during the kneading process. I should also point out that my mixer does struggle a little bit when it comes to kneading dough. Nevertheless, I am very happy with my purchase so far. I believe that I bought the right stand mixer since I rarely bake bread but I love baking a lot of other sweets.

KitchenAid has always had a great reputation. And this model is nothing less than the best. It is a great machine and does superior work and has many different jobs that it can do. I would recommend it for beginners to experienced bakers.

I have been looking for just the kitchenaid mixer and this is the one. It is just the right color since I must keep it on my countertop. It works perfectly and I can see what I am mixing with the clear bowl and also clean the beater when done with the tilt head. It is super!

I really like the tilt head part. It allows me to move the beaters out of my way as I get to the stuff in the bowl!

Bought it for the wife for Xmas. She loves the color. It also mixes from what I've been told.

I absolutely love the KitchenAid Designer Series Tilt Head Stand Mixer. It’s so easy to use and clean up is a breeze. Love the glass bowl. You can easily see when everything is mixed.
