I have always wanted a klipcsh speaker system and these are awesome I highly recommend them!!!

Just bought this bad boy yesterday at my local Bestbuy and man does this thing absolutely ROCK!!! I'm a bit of an audiophile and I really do appreciate quality sound. This Klipsch sound system must be the most powerful PORTABLE BLUETOOTH SPEAKER on the market at the moment that has the option for batteries. The Bass on this system rivals the Bass of relatively larger sound systems with it's dedicated sub-woofer and digital amplification. The audio on this system sounds clean, deep, crisp and easily room filling. I traded up my Bose Sound Dock portable that I had previously owned for about two years for this sound system. In the time that I had the Bose sound dock portable I had to exchange it three times due to 1. Lithium Battery shorted out, 2. Ipod Connector stopped working and 3. the battery shorted out on me again. When the Bose was working it kept me pleased but it was not reliable and had to exchange it various times due to defects. Plus Bose does not provide Raw power with their wave guide technology and small drivers but it was portable and did sound decent. So I went into the store yesterday and used my extended warranty to get the credit for what I paid for the Bose and used it towards this beautiful and absolutely amazing sound system from Klipsch. I can honestly say that this system must be hard to beat with the history and quality that Klipsch is known for. I was also thinking about the Beats Boombox portable but this was just so much richer in sound and quality. Plus the reviews for the Beats Portable were not very good and everyone kept complaining about the wireless Bluetooth connectivity and it's unsteady connection. (I couldn't even get the Bluetooth to work on the demo in the store for the beats Portable boombox, I asked for help from the associates and they couldn't even get it to work). For this system I did plenty of research and comparisons online and in store with similar products but by far this system and the deal that bestbuy gave me was completely unbeatable. They also threw in a 50 dollar gift card for the purchase of this system and I used it to buy the rechargeable lithium ion batteries with the charging station from Energizer. I mainly use this system for outdoor events such as the Beach, the Pool, Home Audio system, Family and friend gatherings. This sound system will surely not disappoint and Best buy always has you covered!! Look no further and snag one of these for yourself, you will not be dissapointed.

First off, I used to own the Klipsch iGroove SXT and loved the sound quality coming off that little speaker but it was too small and needed something for outdoors since my SONOS system took care of the indoor. I sold my iGroove and bought a Monster Beatbox by Dre (The first gen). The beatbox was (or should i say is) an awesome sounding machine for the type of music I listened to (alternatives, R&B and hip-hop). I LOVED the beatbox but the issues i had w/ it was that it was not portable because you couldn't run it on battery plus it was not bluetooth (though you can buy adapters for it#. So I traded it when opportunity knocked to something a little portable but within the same sound range. After pouring a lot of reasearch and time visiting bestbuy to listen to different portable speakers that would match this [Beatbox] great sounding machine, I discovered the KCM 3. This thing blows the Beatbox Portable #also uses D batteries# away--it's not even in the same league. While my old beatbox ran at 200+ watts with loudness and thump, the KMC 3 at 130 watts is more than enough to fill in the void. No other speaker comes close at this price range #I bought the white KMC3 at Amazon for $219.99#. While the D batteries may be a deal-breaker for some, I actually prefer it because I operate the unit in my backyard most of the time anyway. I do occassional camping and beaching all year round so i bought the Tenergy rechargeable batteries so that I can have portability when needed. I also like the removable battery concept because I don't have to worry about replacing a lithium battery when it drains out #like the ones in most portable speakers these days). Overall, I am happy with my purchased and loving the sound on this bad boy.

The first time I turned on my KMC 3 and sent her on her maiden voyage with a lossless copy "Oops, I Did It Again," the clouds parted, the sun shone, and I was bathed in the warm embrace of seven decades of superior Klipsch audio engineering. I had to check my pulse as the bass made me feel what grandma would always describe as being "hot in the biscuit." And the crisp highs and warm mids breezed across my eardrums like a cool gust on the first day of fall. The KMC 3's exceptional audio quality is matched only by its aesthetic, looking classy in any setting. Like Andrew Luck after a good shave. Well worth the price. ;)

I tried them all from Bose sound link 2 Bose sound link mini UE Boom UE mini boom Beats pill Beats Portable Sony srs-btx300 JBL Flip Jawbone Big Jambox Motorola Sol Republic X Jabra Solemate and the winner is the Klipsch Music Center Series KMC 3! There was only one that topped it and that was the Marshall - Stanmore Bluetooth Speaker - Black, and the only reason it didn't win was because it couldn't take batteries and so it could only be plugged in, but boy did it crank out the juice! The Beats Portable was very close, it even sounded better, but I wanted the most volume and Bass, so the Klipsch won out! I started out with the Bose Mini and purchased two or three speakers at a time, yes it was expensive, but i took them back the very next day if it didn't make the cut. I loved the Bose Mini for my room and improving sound when watching a movie on the laptop, but I needed something to take to the pool and start a party. The Stanmore would have won if it would have taken batteries, also the Beats Portable's finish look to susceptible to scratches with it's nice shiny finish, but it's sound was definitely brighter than the Klipsch, it just didn't have as much bass or volume. I've added a nice new app, SonicMax Pro by BBE on my iPhone which seems to make a big difference! I hoped this helps, I felt that after all of the research i put in this week riding around looking for the perfect speaker, it would be a shame not to share the results. Sorry Bestbuy customer service, but if all of your demos had been working, I wouldn't have had to bring the speakers home and bring them back to you!

I've never heard a Bluetooth speaker this awesome in my life!

KMC 3 is one of the best wireless speakers out there for the price (when it was around $200). The volume is loud enough and the bluetooth works just fine. The only negative aspects are the size and batteries.

Before I purchased my KMC 3 I read many reveiws from various websites, including Best Buy's own. I even listened to the KMC 3 on a very popular "Video watching" website. The KMC 3 sounded outstanding on the website. So, on 5/29/2015, I purchased my Klipsch KMC 3 Wireless Music System. I plugged in my new KMC 3, turned it on, then proceeded to take it through it's paces. It had no problems pairing with my Samsung Note 3. The electronic soft touch buttons were cool and responded quickly to my light touch. When I turned it up, the KMC 3 flexed it's powerful sound muscles flawlessly and without distortion. I was really blown away with it's performance. But after about six months I noticed the soft touch buttons responded much slower, the bluetooth distance decreased dramatically, and I had to pair my Note 3 to the KMC 3 each time I turned on the KMC 3. The final insult came when I whipped out my big, powerful speaker at a get-together. Everyone was expecting to hear big, clear sounds from this big beautiful speaker. Much to my embarrassment, it took 15 minutes to finally pair the KMC 3 with my Note 3, the soft touch buttons were now intermittently responding to my touch and I had to use more pressure, and the sound would only play at half the maximum volume. I was so embarrassed! Everyone asking me, "What's wrong with it?" was so nerve wrecking. After that, I researched the KMC 3 to see if I was the only one having problems with their KMC 3. I discovered there were quite a few other people having similar issues with their KMC 3. These people were angry they had wasted their money on this KMC 3 Wireless Music System. We saw the Klipsch name and assumed quality and longevity. On a very popular "bid to purchase" website I began to see various parts of the KMC 3 and the whole KMC 3 units being sold for parts that were not on this site when I first purchased my KMC 3. These poor souls obviously did not get the Replacement Plan from Best Buy like I did. On 5/14/ 2015, I used my Replacement Plan to return that KMC 3 disappointing nightmare. With 2 shots of Tequila and the Best Buy Store Credit I received, that KMC 3 headache was gone.

I went to Bestbuy with the intention of buying the smaller, cheaper Bose unit and the Klipsch won me over, hands down. I compared it to both Bose units as well as the Beats unit of the same size and the others didn't come close. The sound quality is phenomenal even when turned all the way up. The maximum volume level is very good, possibly one of the loudest. The amount of bass this thing puts out is unbelievable for what it is. This is not the first Klipsch speaker I've owned and will not be the last as I've loved every one I've ever had, from home theater to pc speakers.

I had been waiting to find this product locally for some time to check it out in person. I flipped it on and BOY WAS I AMAZED. Deep, deep bass extension and very nice highs coming from this sweet speaker. Pair this insane driver package with blue tooth connecting and I was literally rocking in seconds after getting home. I own several other "Nicer" pairs of Klipsch and this product attests to the quality I was expecting. Live albums sound especially wonderful on the KMC3 as well. I'd give it more than 2 thumbs up if I had em. My only gripe is that the battery isn't rechargeable. Stars wouldn't be able to rate this product if it were rechargeable.

I have been very impressed with this since I purchased it last week. It is hard to imagine such great sound coming from the speakers that this unit has. I knew going into it that this is a bigger unit and the it's portability was questionable. I walked about 30' away from the unit and it was still playing flawlessly. As others have stated, this unit is heavy and it is a shame that it does not have a rechargeable battery with it. But then again, this keeps the cost down and leaves it up to the buyer to determine how portable they want it to be.

This is a very powerful speaker. Insane amount of bass, almost too much at times. I only gave it 4 stars due to no eq or bass adjustment to trailer to my liking. It sounds amazing at high volume, but bass is overwhelming at low volume. Perfect party speaker!

This is used for Yoga practices in the park. The sound is so loud and great that it makes you feel like you are in a club dancing on a stereo sound equipment. I love it but I wish the batteries were rechargeable.

Listening the Pandora hip hop streaming I impressed for the blast boost bass. This unit fill a medium room without afraid by the distortion. If you looking in the correct decition take this unit. The inconvenience is the deception by no battery charger to carry out. Obiously by the sound capacity. 130 watts in peak power dude that's enough power. The difference in the beats boom box and the kmc 3 this is more hi fidelity with a little less power output and no rc display included. Kmc 3 it's heavy in power and the trebble and mids sometimes is muffled. Maybe improved with an equalizer to boost.

This is a really nice sounding unit. Exactly what you would expect from Klipsch.

I tried every speaker that best buy had on the shelves,over time of course. If your looking for quality sound with the best highs and lows in its class..trust me this is the one.its performance beats bose and beats products. Im definitely satisfied with my purchase.I would recommend it for any type of music.

I had been searching for a bluetooth speaker for my daughters playroom. I needed a aux in so we could run their television output through it too. The KMC3 is perfect! They can use their ipods for streaming music when dancing or run movies through it too. SUPER COOL! I cant say enough about the sound. wow. this is closest system i have found to my pair of tower speakers.

When I first purchased the Klipsch KMC1 it was a great speaker. Over the course of six months, problems with the bluetooth connectivity developed as well as sound quality issues as well. I did some research on other sites and discovered that I was not the only one having these issues but quite a few other people were also. The soft touch buttons developed problems also. It was embarrassing trying to get this thing to work at a retirement party. This was supposed to be my big ,bad, powerful Klipsch speaker. Good thing for the protection plan. I returned it.

Mine turns on 1 out of 10 times, then turns off after 10 seconds. The local Klipsch dealer I purchased it from told me to throw it away and that Klipsch is the world's worst about standing behind their products. $400 junk. Never again…
