We use these on the tv for games and the computer for league. Awesom sound amazing quality. You cannot beat the surround sound like sound from these klipsch. I had bose, Sony, Polk, and focal and these top all. Clarity and clearness are great so is the adjustable sub. Adjustable sub is probably what makes this stand out for already obvious reasons. Wouldn't mind if klipsch sponsors my comments. Gracias. Listen before you buy them.

Not a good computer speaker set up for enthusiasts

I have bee through many computer speakers, the best I ever found were Boston Acoustics 5.1 but they are digital. It seems that most computers now are only using analog, so, when I got my new computer, My BA speakers were useless. However, in my home I have an entire Klipsch 7.1 surround set up, and it is the best I've ever heard. These are the same speakers most movie houses use, so I went in believing that the Klipsch speakers for computer would be just as good. I was wrong. They are not the worst, but they do not even compare to my BA set up. The bass can be good, @ times, however, over time, it will start to distort, and then so do the satellites. Also, another problem is most people have used these types of speakers before, and have a brain. Klipsch however, didn't realize that most people use the color coded set-up on the wires, to attach their speakers. This was a big mistake. Down towards the bottom of the page, they will finally tell you that the main satellite speaker has it's own power source, and that you should NOT plug the green speaker connecter into the GREEN sound card input. You will need to change, in your computer sound card file, one of the other outputs, I used the blue, that was some of the problem with the distortion, cracking, problem, but not all of it. I called Klipsch several times trying to get this issue resolved, to no avail, they blamed my brand new 2000.00 computer for this issue. I wish BA had an adaptor for DAC( digital to analog), but they told me awhile back they do not. I'm still looking around for one, and now that this has become more prevalent in the industry, I'm sure I can find one soon. When I do, I will stop using these, I'm past my return policy, so for me, I'm stuck. But I ran out every option in the book trying to fix this issue, and nothing. I play, record, and make my own music on studio one /2 and Cubase, so for me, this was important. I guess if your just looking to listen to music quietly, and real quality is not that important to you, then these will pass. I'm just not the type that likes things that "just pass". I hope this review will @ least help someone else from going thru the nightmare I did.

I purchased these speakers because of all the positive reviews I read. I'm very satisfied with my purchase. I've had them for about a month now and have nothing but positive remarks about them. Crisp highs, responsive mids, great dynamic range, powerful yet tight bass. Movies, music and games are vastly better with these. Highly recommended.

I tested this speakers in best buy couple of years back. I really liked the sound quality. The price at that time was around $250. I got this during holidays for around $100. I liked THX certified speakers before as well. I have another set of speakers Logitech Z623 which are THX certified as well. Both are comparable products I believe. I will update the review after using this speakers for a while if I get a chance.

I bought a new all in one computer (Acer) that had good speakers but no bass. Decided to try this unit since I already own a Klipsch home theater system. I had to by these on the name alone since Best Buy didn't have a display. Have not been disappointed with them. It won't fill the room but works great for a computer system.

Terrific sounding system! Plenty of power. I don't think you'll find anything else this good in this price range, and I did a LOT of research.. A really nice surprise--it really blew me away!

I was familiar with Klipsch since I installed my tv surround sound system using their speakers a number of years ago. These computer speakers are fantastic. The satellItes are clear and the subwoofer has a thumping bass. You can crank the volume up and they don't miss a beat. I gave a video presentation and I hooked these speakers up to my blu-ray player and a large room with 200 people had no trouble hearing the sound and I only had the volume halfway. These speakers are really a steal for the price. I would recommend these to anyone.

Had a Logitech 5.1 surround system with sub that sounded decent for music and games but one of the speakers died after ~2 years. Was reluctant to get a 2.1 system because of gaming but I do not miss it as the sound quality is so much better. Very loud if you want it but still pretty clean. I need to keep the volume at ~8 or 9 0'clock in my computer room for 'family' listening levels even with my door shut

This is by far the finest 2.1 system I have ever owned. The sound is crisp and the bass is particularly stunning. A friend was visiting when the system arrived via UPS, and before he left he also ordered one on the Internet. I have since ordered a second Klipsch 2.1 system for another room. The sound quality is absolutely remarkable!

This is my second purchase of these speakers, my first pair went out after 10 years of heavy gaming use. You can pump out great detailed deep sound through these amazing speakers, and the bass is impressive for its small size. Find these on sale once in awhile, and you cannot get a better value for your money in computer speakers. I bought two pairs this last round for myself and significant other.

See the title, I've tried nearly every major audio brand's version of 2.1 channel speakers for the comp in the last 10 years, and few have both the richness in sound and ability to be played loud without distortion like the Klipsh 2.1's do. Simply awesome sound, with a subwoofer that can handle bass comfortably.

The only thing I could take issue with on these speakers is that there isn't an on/off switch. You have to unplug the speakers when not in use, otherwise, they'll continue to draw power.
Other than that, these babies are sweet. Super crisp highs and deep and powerful base outta the sub. If you were debating between these and Bose, you get more bang for your buck with the Klipsch.

Super Sound for Workshop

I am using the Klipsch speakers in my workshop to listen to music. The sound is crisp and clear, the subwoofer adds for a nice all around sound. Setup was easy and the system can easily drown out the sound of the tools I am using. When not working with tools the system has a nice sound that fills the workshop.

Crisp Clear Sound

I purchased these speakers on Cyber Monday 2011 for a great price I couldn't pass up.
These speakers are amazing. What I mean by amazing is the treble and bass always seem to be at correct levels with each other. No matter if the volume is low or high, the bass never drowns out the treble and the treble never destroys your eardrums.
They should have made an option to place the speakers on their side to easily place under your monitor. See my pictures on what I did. They look amazing and was very simple to place on their sides by using the included rubber feet.

I had previously purchased the Logitech - Z506 5.1 Surround Sound Speakers as a replacement for my decade old speaker system. It distorted the sound something terrible. And, in less that a year stopped working. I love the Klipsch speakers. Great sound easy to hook up. Only drawback is no power switch. Solved this problem by using a spare multi-outlet with a switch.

I was happy to spend a little extra money on this sound system due to Klipsch's reputation. I'm using these with my spare LCD television in the bedroom and the overall sound quality and bass levels are spectacular. They were easy to install and I expect them to last many years. The only two negatives are the fact that Klipsch no longer makes the wall mount brackets (I had to buy a universal set which required some modification for proper fitment) and the fact that there's no power switch so they're always on unless you unplug them. Overall I'm very satisfied!

I was a hesitant at first because the demo units in the store always crackle when adjusting volume and you cant really crank them up. But I pulled the trigger because I got it on sale. When it fired it up, i was very pleased. The clarity is great and the subwoofer is solid. I also use a system equalizer on my imac and this set sounds like a Klipsch should.....AWESOME.

Creative has always been the main frame in pc speakers and behold these come along. While they are a bit pricey, the sound quality is outstanding. Deep bass and crystal clear. These are connected to a laptop and amperage is supplied by the speakers, not the laptop so you'll love them. Need to try and Best Buy will accept a return if you don't like the price!

I am using this with an Apple TV and PC both connected to an overhead projector in our small business conference room. The sound is fantastic, room-filling, with rich bass. There are accessible controls right on the speaker for plugging in headphones. This is a very nice step up from the lower-priced speaker+subwoofer arrangements I have tried before.
