I grabbed a pair of these while on sale. I've always liked Klipsch, but never pulled the trigger on buying a set because they were just a bit harsh for my liking. This all changed when I heard the new RP series. The new horn has taken that harshness away and allowed for the sound I was looking for. For movies, these provide so much detail and make the soundtracks come to life. I paired them with a 504C center and Klipsch in walls for surrounds and atmos. On 2ch music, I find myself listening for hours. Even my wife approves (even at higher volumes!). They really do put you front and center of the performance. The sound stage is wide and open with excellent separation of instruments and voices. The midrange is spot on and the 8" drivers pair great with the horn. Highwater Every Where by Joe Bonomassa on the Live from Royal Albert Hall album is the perfect song to showcase these towers. There are 2 drum sets playing in the intro and each speaker takes on a set of drums and the separation is spot on, and once Joe enters with the guitar it plants him right in the middle, as he appears on the Blu-Ray, with the clarity I had been wanting. After giving the Klipsch a solid month of listening, I ended up selling my B&W 6 series towers and center. Sound is subjective and different for everyone. To me the Klipsch provided that extra something the Bowers were missing. Not to say the Bower 6 series were bad, they are not. Just to my ears, the Klipsch gave me that clarity and airiness I was wanting.

If I could do it again, I would have bought the ebony model and saved $100 per speaker. That's about the only non positive thing about these speakers that I can say.
Disclaimer, I am not an audiophile. These replaced 20yr old 30watt $400 home theater system.
The sound coming from these speakers are as big as the speakers themselves. One might argue it unnecessary for a sub or center speakers, as these speakers can fill that bill, maybe for some. After trying it out with my sub, I was comforted to learn that these speakers did not drown out even the entry level Klipsch 12" subwoofers at all (they compliment each other, at least at an OK level with my untrained ears). They have some bump but they don't effortlessly shake the room as the Klipsch sub.
After getting a demo of these speakers with the Klipsch centers (I don't remember which model, just they were in the Magnolia room), I was ok in believing these speakers compliment each other; the centers only added more clarity than what these speakers already had.
I have the RP-504c on order (center speakers), already have the R-120SW subwoofer, and obviously these RP-8000Fs, all powered by the Denon X1500H receiver. In the near future I will complete it as a 5.1 system with some rears.

Build quality is great but the crossover is where it falls on its face. With a custom built crossover this this will really come alive and play really flat.

The 1st speakers purchase in my new, home theater/music room. I knew I needed something heavy hitting and loud. Review, review, review, and it came down to the Klipsch RP series. Really like the walnut wrap finish. The magnetic grills are cool. Sound quality is excellent. I've had these cranked for hours, and I still don't get what this "listening fatique" is all about. Nice full bodied music reproduction. Good choice !

I am extremely satisfied with the performance of this tower speaker. I watched lot's of reviews on Youtube but it's hard to get a good feeling in regards to how the unit sounds by watching videos on it. Once I had the a pair in my living room, I was blown away by how good they sound.

Bought and returned. Too hot/bright and found my Elac Debut towers were more pleasant sounding than these. I wanted to like and there is no question the bass is better than the smaller Elac but I'd put the Elac w/decent sub against these any day and the sub will benefit you far greater in the long run.
Very disappointed in the packaging on these too. I could not ship to store and they boxes were destroyed. I was very worried the product was damaged but it was OK.

I replaced some Reference series Klipsch speakers with these.
They exceeded my expectations. They are not fatiguing even with their crisp and clear highs. Very aesthetically pleasing as well. Highly recommended and would buy again.

Replaced a vintage set of speakers with these and, although they sound better, I'm not sure they sound "enough" better to justify the high price. That said, if you are patient you can get these on sale and Best Buy will price match other sites (like Crutchfield, for example).
The build quality is nice and Klipsch already replaced a front grill for me that was damaged in shipping (hole in the box), so support seems good.
A lot of reviews have said you don't need a subwoofer with these speakers. That might be true, but I do think a subwoofer would probably add some of that "low end thump" if you like that in your music (I'll probably add one).

Great sound for a great price. These towers are bigger than some of it’s counterparts but for the cost, you can’t beat it.
