Okay, just to give the basics. I wanted to go from a huge receiver 6.1 surround system. Ton of wires, everywhere! 12” subwoofer. To this. I was happy with the old sound. But, it took soooo much living space. I went with this because I got such a good deal on it and know klipsch is a great brand. The sound quality is outstanding. It really holds up as expected. Do not let your cable service provide content as your test run. Use an actual Blu-ray. Or use Netflix. But the best test is a solid connection. I have Comcast and tested it out with Captain America: Winter Soldier and it sounded real low res. I popped in the Blu-ray and made it 100x better. Also great for music. It has Bluetooth connectivity. What ever service you use, make sure you quality is set to its max. Plenty of HDMI inputs and optical. NO COAX. Which is an issue for me. My tv does not output in optical. So maybe one day I’ll upgrade and make sure it has an optical output. The subwoofer is wireless and has its own controls on the remote. Has a decent reach without losing quality. Drawbacks, the speaker is really wide. Hangs off the tv stand I have. I will have to find a new solution for that. So make sure you have a BIG tv for this speaker set up. 55+ For sure. It’s not the cleanest prettiest looking speaker. It’s pretty round and a little bulky. Klipsch is known for that dark wood tower speakers and they totally missed an opportunity here. Instead it’s plastic. But other then that it’s a great speaker set up, especially for its brand and price. Hope this helps!

Sound bar system to use with a new TV.

We already had two excellent sound systems: A Bose Lifestyle system and a Blue Sky system. We gave the Bose to one of the kids and the Blue Sky is used with one,of the computers. After buying a Sony 55" TV we wanted a decent sound system to use with it. The Klipsch - Reference Series 2.1-Channel Soundbar System with 8" Wireless Subwoofer and Digital Amplifier Sound Bar System works wonderfully! What I like most about it is it's size: 44" wide, 4" tall, less than 4" deep. So the sound bar's low height, small depth and height makes it very low key in appearance. Being wireless is also a huge plus! And the sound that comes out of it is surprising for it's size. Sure, I could have gotten a very high end product for many many more dollars, but why go to that expense when I don't have a professional home movie theatre?

Sounds great in my living room. Great improvement over the TV speakers. Easy to hook up. Solid bass. Full mids and decent highs. Not tinny at all. Worth the money.

I am please with the quality and sound I bought it for the outdoor 60" TV, very decent sound for the price The only thing I don't like is the lack of holders/hooks on the back of it, so I attached it to the TV in order to moves with it.

I purchased blind thinking if it cost this much it must be good. Well it cleaned up a mess of cabling with only one HDMI running up wall to DTV. It has great sound over broad audio frequency range, it automatically senses source and switches sound to that source ( you must still switch origination source but simplifies). This entertainment tool was not presented in the best light and was worth more than expected.

Losing sound on my Onkyo surround system, I needed something to hold me over until I figured out what to do. Found this at BB open box for a really good price, figured Klipsch is a good name too. But the selling point for me was the wireless sub-woofer is just plain solid, not great sounding but built really solid. I have 2 toddler boys who quickly got bored w/ trying to play w/ it and now leave it alone. Not much bass out of it, seems to work OK, range on the remote is weak though. Again, after hearing my surround for the last few years, this doesn't compare. Plan is to put it in my bedroom w/ my Panasonic Plasma where I don't need superior sound quality.

I purchased a new 4K HDTV and wanted the sound to match. After trying out an LG and Samsung the Klipsch was definitely a class above the rest. I got the boom with this system which is what I was looking for. Love how it fits right in with my TV Stand and with the Subwoofer still hidden it makes great sound. I am very pleased with this and would recommend it to anyone.

This is a really great product; however, Best Buy sold this opened box product to me as a new, unopened, product for a new product price - this kind of store management behavior is simply unacceptable. Best Buy needs to make this right!

Our salesperson (Nate) was most helpful and willing to show us everything that was available on the floor at this Best Buy. I think he realized we were not there to purchase a $2000 sound bar and system and yet he was willing to work with us to get what we wanted. The sound is great for conversation on the TV and is a wow for music. It is sleek looking and is bluetooth enabled even for the woofer. For the price you should definitely listen to this system

I originally wanted to keep the brands the same, Samsung TV and Soundbar, but I listed to the Klipsch systems, and they were the hands down winners. Several models, Even though I think the cheaper model would have been just as good, I'm glad I went with the 8" Subwoofer. Interesting that even though this is only a 2.1 (2 speakers, 1 subwoofer), it projects crystal clear sound, and awesome bass once you link it to your television. Subwoofer is wireless, have it plugged in under an end table about 20 feet from TV.

Connecting the RSB-11 to a Samsung UN65MU8000 Speakers sound great, fill the room, and you can hear every bit of dialogue and boom. But I did have a few setup issues. First Issue) After spending about an hour trying to figure out why the HDMI ARC wasn't working, I stumbled upon why it wasn't working. You have to enable HDMI ARC (it's off by default). You have to enable it on the TV side as well. Then you have to set the soundbar to TV mode (This is the part that got me), and at least for the Samsung will see it as an Amplifier/Receiver. Once that is done, the TV remote will control the volume settings, but not any of the other settings, like Dolby, Night, and etc. Second Issue) It won't remember the settings, and you have to reset it back to TV mode plus reset your bass settings. This is an easy fix, just get the firmware update, but make sure you get one that is based off the correct Serial Number. Overall, I'm happy with my purchase. Best advice I can give. Every new sound product will have its learning curve. Read the manuals for all connected devices. Once set, and working, leave it alone.

I've been watching various brands of sound bars for the last 6 months. When this one finally arrived at BestBuy, I knew I had to have it. I've had Klipsch speakers for years at my house so I trusted the brand. Installation and set up was a breeze. I've tied it in with a new Sony 4K TV using ARC to the sound bar to make the perfect entertainment system. The sub-woofer gives just a enough punch that my whole living room feels like a theater. Best bang for the buck I've found!

I purchased this unit for my movie room and the sound is fantastic! It was so great and loud that I wanted the same sound downstairs in the living room with a little less bass, so I went with the RSB-6. Great manufacturer who knows how to design true quality sound!

First, BestBuy matched an e-tail price, so thanks for that. The setup was simple, with a single hdmi connection to tv, and Bluetooth pairing with a Windows phone was a piece of cake as well. The sound is superb for the small footprint. Of course it isn't the same as a full surround system, but it can get loud if you want it too, and the subwoofer makes huge, clear, inspired bass. Music streamed through Bluetooth is crisp and vibrant as well. Klipsch has created a great product, and i have never had a second thought.

At first I was skeptical at the sound quality. Once I got it home I loved it. Simple to setup, connect, update, and the sound quality was amazing!! Loved the fact I could also connect via blue tooth and just listen to music.

It's klipsch. What else needs to be said? Sound is clear, and amazing from such a small footprint. The remote sub really actually fills in the low end perfectly. Got it on black Friday for a steal. I would buy again.

I thought I was down grading from a full surround sound system to just a sound bar. I tested the Bose, Klipsch and the JBL. The Bose sounded great but at $1400, that was way to much. The JBL sounded really good and was $100 less then the Klipsch but didn’t have 4K pass through. The Klipsch has 4K pass through, 3 hdmi inputs and the sound is just Incredible. I really thought I was down grading when I went with this sound bar but sound that I get out of this system just blows me away. I am so happy that I went with the Klipsch.

I have this speaker bar in a 220 sq ft room and it it gives nice sound to the entire area. Worth the upgrade to the 8" sub and has no "tinny" sound like the lower cost sound bars.
